They don't seem to be bothered and moved by not delivering a complete product as advertised. However they happily charge you and let you wait for months until the missing bit is delivered (which still hasn't, in my case). Shame on you, extremely poor service, not customer oriented at all, zero effort to assist customer or speed the delivery up, or swap the item for what was supposed to be delivered. Not in the company's policy, as I've been told. Sad...

Aside from the child s3x tr4ff1ck1ng this company is known for they also scam you on their credit cards. I have been paying my balance down for months now and as soon as I set extra money off to the side to do so, so I can raise my credit score, this company CLOSES my card WITHOUT my permission OR notifying me. I guess thats what u get for giving my business to this P1ZZA GAT3 of a company. And if you don't believe me, look into it yourself. This company is a SCAM. And while I'm being honest, the quality of their inventory is not great either. Expect missing pieces in ANYTHING you purchase and misleading photos to make you buy their SH1T. I cannot wait to see this company fail. But Wayfair, thanks for taking the trash out for me (you are the trash incase you missed that).
A month after ordering a $52 Sunbrella cushion, I began making weekly calls as to the cushion's whereabouts. Week after week, "tickets" were written; managers were alerted; apologies were shared. While Wayfair's computer system indicated that the cushion was indeed in stock, no one could make sense of what was causing the delay Then I received notification that my order had been cancelled. When I called Customer Service to learn why, I was informed that the price of the cushion was now $110. I asked to speak to a manager who agreed that doubling the price would indeed be a bad look for Wayfair. Instead, & to compensate for my troubles, she said the cushion would be promptly sent at the discounted price of $18. Three days later I received another cancellation notice. This time when I spoke to a manager, Supervisor Tammy said the cushion I had ordered was not actually in stock, but she could send a similar one, which would (hopefully) arrive in 6 to 8 weeks, at the discounted price of $74. After sharing my considerable displeasure with this offer, I asked to be removed from all Wayfair email lists.
Could a company possibly botch product delivery, inventory management, & customer service more than Wayfair did? It is hard to imagine a more appalling, dissatisfying & --come to think of it-- fraudulent experience than mine with Wayfair.
Product in stock at time of order, shipped 9/18. Numerous notifications product was delivering, then delayed. Contacted customer service 10/5,10/8,10/12,10/16,10/19. Was never allowed to speak w/mgmt, only told the shipment was in town and it was a shipping issue. This delay caused many installation delays for the remodel of a restaurant and was completely unacceptable.
They sent me a product never like on picture and they refused to refund or exchange. They dont sell what they really offer. Hate wayfair.

I bought a FIRM mattress and received a soft mattress with coils that sinks just with the pressure of my hand. Either I received a different mattress or the details in the listings are lies. I have called Wayfair and they are very unresponsive, there is no supervisor available to hear my claim. They have no one available to come package the mattress and take and no one available to speak about a refund. This mattress is a scam and it is a scam to not have someone be able to package the mattress and refund the buyer. Refund me now! I have attached pictures and videos of this "firm" mattress. I am extremely annoyed! REFUND ME! I WILL NOT SPEND 20 OR MORE DOLLARS TO BUY PACKAGING WHEN IT IS YOUR FAULT! SCAMMING COMPANY
I do not ever write bad reviews but we bought a bed frame with drawers back in May 2020. Everything was great except one of the drawers came broken. I put in a request right away for a replacement drawer and now in mid October I just received another email that they will be delaying my order request. I have contacted the company asking about the delay the last time they sent an email and got no response or help. The only reason I give two stars rather than one is we like the rest of the bed, but we have to hide the broken left drawer each day and it is so frustrating to have purchased something that came broken with no help or customer service from the company that sent it. Would not buy from or recommend Wayfair! Spend money elsewhere!

After spending thousands of dollars at Wayfair, I am given a difficult time to return a $90.00 rug pad that arrived soiled and disgusting. Although I received MANY damaged/defective items from Wayfair, I always thought their customer service was excellent but NOT ANY LONGER AND I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THEM.
I reviewed several purchased products. I didn't include anything hurtful or offensive just a simple review. The star value and my name appears on the site but not the text with criticisms. :(
Customer service reps are poorly trained. One will tell you one thing, the next, something completely different. They use a computer que to answer your questions, not their training, therefore are not able to answer questions outside the que. They can't use their brains. Buyer beware!
The delivery contractors Wayfair used to deliver my furniture damaged my brand new home. The railing is loose, walls are scuffed and have a dent in them. I paid extra to have the items delivered, unboxed and the cardboard taken away. Instead the dresser was carried up the stairs in the box, destroying my hallway. It would have been easier to inbox it before taking it upstairs! The response from Wayfair- "we will try to do better in the future." That's great to hear - what are you going to do for me NOW? There is a dresser I saw on Wayfair that I will ask a local furniture store to special order and deliver to me. I will pay more money and know that my home will not be damaged. Wayfair should be ashamed of their BS responses and their unacceptable business practices. To other consumers - look around and buy your furniture from somewhere else. Use Wayfair as a virtual catalog and then spend your hard-earned money with a company that cares about and wants to retain customers.
I ordered a product that never shipped and when we tried to cancel our order after they kept pushing back the deadline, they would not allow us to do so. I was charged for the product and never received it and when I managed to get through to the staff, they told us that they would only cancel our order after paying a $150 shipping fee. If you are looking for affordable prices without running the risk of getting ripped off, Wayfair isn't the site for you.
Then had the nerve to cancel the appointment to fix it. Look at that! That's how they left it on the side of the road! They charged me for the appointment too.

On multiple occasions I have attempted to order sofas from the website. After placing the orders, every time I checked the status of the order the expected delivery date would be pushed back a few days until the status changed to "backordered," though the items were in stock during this whole time. It's been several weeks and months since these orders and never received anything. Do not waste your time purchasing something from this site and then endlessly waiting.
Clocked in my "on hold" time for the past couple of days, at over 2 hours. Customer service person Marcie G flat out lied that my shipment would be in delivery window 9/29 - October 5th. Never to be heard from again. I must have talked to 8 different customer service people who don't have the tools to handle problems like "it said it was in stock that's why we ordered it." Then it turns out its not in stock, it hasn't shipped. Its not the fault of the CS folks though. Upper management uses them as a foil. Although Nancy C really did try to help, I ran into another set of lousy circumstances trying to cancel the order. Someone posted stick with Amazon, and I agree!
We have a non profit unfortunately they turn down small charities cause they can only work with big charities. Discriminating our group.
