I PURCHASED OVER $2,000 WORTH OF HOME IMPROVEMENT ITEMS. ALL THE ISSUES OCCURRED DURING RETURN. I ORDERED 2 CEILING FANS AND THEY SENT THE WRONG ITEM. ON ANOTHER RETURN FOR DOOR KNOBS THEY SENT 5 SEPARATE LABELS WHEN ALL THE ITEMS WERE DELIVERED IN THE SAME BOX. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $42 SHIPPING FEE FOR THE RETURN. ON ANOTHER RETURN THE REFUND WAS OFF BY $33. THEY SAID IT WAS A SYSTEM GLITCH. IF YOUR GOING TO USE THIS COMPANY MAKE SURE YOU WANT THE ITEM BECAUSE THE RETURN SHIPPING FEES ARE ASTROCIOUS. UNLESS YOU EXAMINE YOUR INVOICE YOU WILL NOT BE AWARE OF THE RETURN SHIPPING COST. I WAS CHARGED $25.OO TO SEND BACK 5 ITMES ALL IN ONE BOX. HAD I KNOWN IT WOULD BE THAT MUCH I WOULD OF SOLD THEM ON EBAY.

I will never order from wayfair again. Ordered patio set that looked amazing on site, but of course it looks like a doll house once received, also the screws was missing for firepit. Called request to return rep advised it will be 53.00 to return. THEY ENDED UP CHARGING ME 162.00 TO RETURN. Called and got a ear full of BS. This patio set wasn't even worth 162.00 but was on sale for 1100 it was a little over 50% off. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU LOOKING FOR DOLL HOUSE FURNITURE!
My wife and I just learned that Wayfair is simply an in-between web-host, with no real power to adjust item prices sold on their website from independent merchants! (Unlike ALL of their competitors, who can). The items we purchased last week haven't even shipped out yet, but the entire order has significantly gone down in price since then. So we called Wayfair CS today to see if they could adjust the prices accordingly. They said they were UNABLE to adjust their merchants prices! So we asked if we could contact the merchant directly, and they said "no"... they refused to help us out... what? Even Amazon could do better than this! Wayfair = Thumbs DOWN

I ordered furniture estimated time to deliver about 10 days. Several emails stating order on time and the last day email stated 2 more months. I called manager no help, who would wait 2 more months waste my time. Manager would t even give me her name. I cancelled order and they said it will take about a week for a refund. So now I have to wait even longer to buy furniture because this company has no idea what there doing. If I could give a 0 rating I would. Don't buy anything from here you never know if your going to get it
Wayfair is hostile to customers who dare to complain. Beware of this dishonest aggressively hostile company and its step children Joss & Main and Houzz.
Lots of overpriced goods that comes damaged or missing parts and good luck returning it.
If you dare to complain, they come after you with a vengeance! No. Friendly customer service. Instead first you get a runaround about why their product you received isn't quite the same or as nice as the photoshopped pic they baited your with or is damaged or missing parts.
If you persist with your complaint, Wayfair takes hostile aggressive action - they cancel your card and lock you out of your account so you can't make a complaint to consumer protection agencies.
They also cancel any other orders you've made without notice and leave the delivery status as pending.
Sneaky liars when caught ripping off customers who have millions of dissatisfied customers stuck with their crap products and no recourse.
Ordered 60 sq ft+ of tiles for a pool remodel. Was delayed three times initially. Was finally told a firm delivery date so I scheduled crews to come out. The date came and went, no tiles. Called multiple times to find out why and got a lot of rehearsed excuses and apologies, not planning to fix the issue. Lodged a complaint with corporate, and nothing back. Still don't have the tiles, still have construction crews in a holding pattern. Absolutely horrible experience. If you need something in any kind of timely manner, don't believe their shipping dates because if they're wrong, they don't take any responsibility for it. Can't order from them again because I can't afford to have this happen again. It's worth paying more to have a promised product delivered in a timely manner. Trust me, it'll cost less in the end.
Be sure to check the prices on other sites. I have checked a lot of prices on Wayfair and they seem more expensive than stores. For example, Jonathan Adler Julliett mug is $18@ Neiman Marcus and WayFair has it for $38. Before you order, check online for other stores. Also, there is no shipping on Neiman Marcus either. I ordered some items from William Sonoma and it was cheaper than Wayfair.
Before ordering a $769.99 rug, I inquired of Wayfair (via documented on line chat) what their return policy is. I was told they would send me "a pre-paid return label and (we) would deduct the shipping fees from your refund." The shipping fees, however, were calculated by Wayfair to be $675.00! Therefore, my "refund" would only be $94.9!
I purchased a quilt from Wayfair. When it arrived, it was not the quilt I ordered- neither the description or the colors. I called them and was told that it was the ordered quilt- which was a lie. The customer service person insisted that I should keep the item. I refused and asked to have it sent back. I received a refund - less shipping. Given that they shipped the wrong item they should have paid return shipping. I will never order from them again.
If I could give a negative number I would. I placed a large furniture order, on the phone with customer service. Next day noticed they were shipping to old apartment address. VERY LONG STORY SHORT... Wayfair would not cancel order, change address or refund my money. Even after filing complaints, calling, texting, emailing... speaking with numerous individuals and even trying to dispute with my bank (Wayfair would not communicate and gave very limited info). So now I am out $1700 and no furniture to show for it! I have begun filing government supported interventions (ie BBB, ect) maybe that will help. In the end Wayfair did knowingly and willingly continue to take money from me and keep the goods.
Tried to have an order stopped mid delivering as per Fedex Policies and Wayfair turned it into MAJOR Project! Terrible customer service. Will never shop with them again! Beware if you might have to return something
I ordered a Hydro Flask thru Kayla on 10/15 for my daughter's B-Day, got a confirmation code, and was told It would arrive by 10/29. After receiving NO email confirmation, tracking number, or any correspondence from them, I call today, 10/29, and spoke to Amanda about its status, only to be told that Wayfair canceled the order on 10/18 because they couldn't get the product and DIDN'T BOTHER TO LET ME KNOW (she of course claimed they sent an email but they never did - thereby compounding the problem, by lying)! I should have read all the negative reviews, will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

I ordered a desk on the Wayfair website. Less than 5 minutes later i found a much better priceI called Wayfair and they said they couldnt cancel the order. It shipped out 1.5 days later. I called for the difference in price and they refused. Never again Wayfair. Its Amazon for me.
If u buy furniture from Wayfair, be aware that it is extremely hard to get your funds back if u need to make a return. It may be even harder to get your funds back if that item that u purchased has been discontinued, even when they list the item as available. Twice i tried to buy a customized side chair for my living room. They gave a far out delivery date of December whatever, and held my money for 2 weeks. The 1st order i made was canceled, which i found out about by checking my profile on the app. I immediately ended up purchasing it again thinking it was canceled due to error, but later received an email saying the item was canceled. And i ordered the same item again. For a higher price. Because the app allowed me to! When i called customer service, i tried to cancel that order and they stated they couldn't cancel because it's upholstered and it would be about 2 weeks before i could get my funds back. Then the rep told me the other order was canceled because the fabric i wanted was discontinued. So i thought at least i would get a chair out of this mess, even if the price went from 750.00 to 850.00. But 2 weeks later, i received an email stating that the the chair was discontinued and i received my money back. I wasn't even gonna bother with looking for another chair online but ended up actually finding the perfect chair on Amazon for 300.00 bucks less. And it took the weekend to get here. So save 4 weeks worth of your sanity and buy your furniture from Amazon. Below, this is how the chair is still listed on wayfair (really). And also a picture of my Amazon chair. It's so nice! I don't hate Wayfair, but i just had to let them know about themselves. They have messed up too many times before (such as damages or incorrect sizing), and the ease of ordering from another company was too much to ignore.

We purchased 4 chairs from Wayfair that fell apart in two years with very little use. I contacted Wayfair and they said there was nothing they could do
10/21/21 I ordered 3 fabric swatches, less than 12 hours later Wayfair has also ordered me a sofa. I call them as soon as I see this only to be told they will NOT take care of my order. They tell me to refuse delivery instead. I tell them I didn't order the sofa and I want to make sure to do the right thing. Again I'm told sorry can't help you. What kind of company has the right to charge your bank for something you do NOT want and you are kind enough to call them to help them out. Just trying to do the right thing. No longer will they be able to just take my money without my knowledge!

Because i didnt feel it was up to standard, i returned this set in the correct way and they deducted all sorts of of costs, shipping costs, and they said they had refunded a certain amount to my bank account and it was £12. Short. I have emailed this company twice and they have just ignored me.
I am not very happy with shopping with this company all sorts of hidden costs. Never buy anything from them again. BAD EXPERIENCE.
