I am very disappointed with Wayfair right now. I had a good experience with this company in the past. Today I received a message that an order. The message stated "Unfortunately, we've had to cancel an item from your order because it was unexpectedly discontinued." I placed for a vacation rental home was cancelled 12 days before the delivery was to take place. I had coordinated my schedule to be at the property during the time of delivery. I spoke with customer service and they explained that the delivery was cancelled because the supplier did not have the right fabric. I almost ordered a different sofa and wish I had. I could have even purchased a sofa here in NC and driven it up to the rental property in a van. So many options and now there is not time to implement them. Make up your own mind as to whether you want to do business with this company.
I have purchased some big ticket items from Wayfair (including a sight unseen shower enclosure system!). I have been happy with most purchases and have received excellent customer service when I've needed them. Wayfair knows how to do business they are a class act. And thank you for your help, Sharon!
I have this set of Cuisinart knives and was looking to replace one I had accidentally thrown away. The handles of these knives are round as pictured in the description. However, when I received it, it was a square handle and the printing didn't match AT ALL. When I contacted Wayfair, they tried to charge me over $7 to return it. I highly recommend avoiding Wayfair at all costs as they cannot be trusted to sell authentic products.
I bought a shed on October 2 that said it would arrive about October 13. Then I get notification that it may be between October 23-29. I needed it right away so started looking again. I found one available on October 6 so I went on Wayfair and canceled the order. It told me canceled immediately. So I felt I could move on. Later I checked email and found that it could not be canceled because it was in process! Well are not all orders in process before they are shipped? Anyway now I must track and refuse delivery they told me. My goodness is that not a waste of energy and man power for what seems so simple. I am done with Wayfair!
Purchased another Item, haven't Attempted in Years to TRY again. Wish I hadn't "tried" Again because I Did Question why there were No reviews & Now I know Why there are None. Their Site won't Allow My Review on that Item & All I Attempted to do was Give it One Star. Nope, Wouldn't Allow Me to Do Anything. Not only is the Item, a Kitchen Cart the Lowest Quality of Anything We've ever Purchased, Any where But the Price for NO Quality, Cheaply Made, Ridiculously Weak & MISSING PARTS! Is Just Sickening. To Think We Gave Almost $300 for this thing & Of course, You Can't Send it back & They know that. We Will Probably Also Purchase one at Badcock Furniture because for Same Price it was Heavy, Solid Wood & Looked like a Piece of Furniture, Not a Cheap Piece of Garbage. We'll have to now Donate this or give away, so much for a hard earned almost $300 worth of Crap. Seriously reminds me of some Doll Furniture, a Toy rather than a Kitchen Cart I'd Ever Trust to Actually have Any Weight on it at All. Sickening. Update, I emailed Wayfair & they may have Offered a refund. I'll know in 3-5 Days. Offered as a Store Credit but At least when we Literally THROW Away this item, It Will Not have "Hopefully" Cost us Anything Except an Entire Day Trying to Put such an Inferior Low Quality item together with Missing Parts & Very Cheap Materials. I ordered four trivial items. Only one arrived. A valance, but it was not as pictured. It takes two for desired affect as pictured, but not explained. It took THREE WEEKS for delivery! The other three small items (shower hooks, shower liner, & toilet paper holder) are still 'in transit' supposedly lingering in a FedEx warehouse 100 miles away! Will it take a full week just to get it to my home? Dunno, I'm thoroughly disgusted with the manufacturers Wayfair uses, FedEx, and the gawdawful time it takes to take delivery. First and last time I order from this outfit. This was a test. They failed. There must be a lot of fools out there because their TV ads are not cheap!
My husband and I ordered a $703 toilet when the licensed and bonded plumber went to install it, he showed us how Wayfair had tried to fix the item before we had it and it was so broken it could not be installed!
Absolutely a horrible experience shopping for anything that requires ensemble from Wayfair. I ordered the item on the 7th of the month, and the shipment got delayed several times and finally arrived ten days later. I opened the package only to found out the product was in poor condition and the parts were missing. Their customer service phone number is hidden on the website with layered automated options. I ordered a replacement for the missing pieces, and it's been three weeks now that I still don't have the complete product parts to assemble. I opened two email tickets on their website, and no one responded. Finally, almost four weeks in, I got on a call. The customer representative said there's nothing they can do about it. Extremely frustrating experience, and I will never shop again. I used to be a loyal customer but will never order from here again.
Horrible experiences 3x in a row! They clearly don't verify there products or suppliers. I ordered a bed and on 2 occasions only received random pieces. After over a month of back and forth they finally said they took the product off their site and provided refunds and to keep the pieces. I don't want these pieces though. Such a hassle.
So then I decided I'd use the 10% off coupon they gave as an I'm sorry and got a friends kids a birthday gift. I ‘thought' I was getting a pretend play push ice cream cart with like 28 pieces to go with it. It got here and it is TINY. On the description it shows childrens hands pushing it … when I went back to look at it the link is no longer active and it has been removed from the site.

After months of waiting for a couch, I received an email that my order is canceled and I will be refunded. When I called, the rep said they had trouble processing my order and they were unable to reach me. I never received an email or voicemail, despite the rep insisting that attempts were made to contact me. I searched all of my email folders (spam included) and the only other correspondence for this order was a recent email apologizing for a delay in delivery. I was willing to reorder the couch and wait a bit longer, but they no longer had the fabric I needed in stock. So I am back to square one. I will NEVER order from Wayfair again.
Absolutely unacceptable business practices. I have asthma and had concerns about ordering memory foam mattresses. Wayfair told me there was no fiberglass or health concerns with having fiberglass as insulation in their mattresses. I didn't learn until over 5 months later well outside their return date that there was FIBERGLASS in Wayfair sleep mattresses! This is incredible dangerous. And do you know how fiberglass can get out of the mattress? By cleaning it, unzipping it or just sleeping on the bed too much! This should be illegal.
And they won't issue a credit or a refund or anything to assist me because it's outside the 100 days.
We ordered a 10x12 outdoor greenhouse from Wayfair about 2 months ago. It supposedly shipped out but every time we tried to track the merchandise, it said it was "in transit". Becoming concerned, we called Wayfair, only to find out that it was shipped out in 2 pieces, one piece which was sitting in a storage facility 20 miles from our house and the other piece, lost. They offered to re order the 2nd piece, failing to tell us it was out of stock and would take another 2 months to get to us.
So, we completely cancelled the order and ordered the exact same greenhouse for less money through another vendor. I cannot tell you how disappointing the lack of transparency from Wayfair was to us, such that we will never shop there again. The laziness on their part to never attempt to get in touch with us is inexcusable. The person I spoke with in the phone could have cared less that we were inconvenienced and offered up nothing in return. This item had been discounted almost 600 dollars after we purchased it to add insult to injury.
This whole experience from start to finish has soured us completely from ever ordering anything again from this company.
Ordered multiple items and very satisfied. Will continue to get what i need from there. Delivery is great.
Company is very unprofessional took my order over a month to get here when calling to cancel order due to long delivery they wanted to charge me $200 but couldn't give me an exact date when the furniture would be here I will never purchase anything from them again
I ordered a number of different bed skirts & some bathroom cup/accessories. Got THREE different shipments. Bathroom accessories were the wrong items. The 5 bedskirts were of poor quality so I wanted to return all of them. Had read their Return Policy in advance. Found out I had to return my items in THREE different boxes & pay separate shipping on each. Their Return Policy doesn't mention this inconvenience in making returns. Thought I'd be able to return any/all items in one box. Never came across such a difficult return policy. Called them, & they told me - different vendors - different boxes - even though 2 of those items did come from the same vendor. Generally annoying. Noticed in hindsight, their overall ratings are generally low and now I know why.
Ordered a desk 6 days ago and was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Still says processing on their website. Called customer service and chatted with a Shawna. She said item was lost and would issue me a full refund. Never received a confirmation email from her. Chatted with someone else and they have no record of my conversation with this person and it was not cancelled. This person Latasha was a better but still could not tell me where my order was. I don't want it delivered next week when I'm out of town. I will never order from this company again. Just terrible!
We ordered an item in JULY of 2020. Fully understanding covid 2020, yet we did NOT expect to receive the item 7 MONTHS later. And then on top of that get a USED / RETURNED item that was very poorly packaged, cracked and flimsy. To spend 4 THOUSAND dollars and this is what we get in return. In trying to communicate this we've been hung up on and/or redirected to people who can NOT help us... or on eternal HOLD.
To make matters WORSE, after NOT SIGNING for the item that was literally DUMPED in our driveway, item was gone two days later and THEN we still get billed for it. Now they are sending it to COLLECTIONS with a wonderful company called Comenity. So needless to say, after a few years with Wayfair, many ITEMS purchased, we will NO LONGER be having anything to do with Wayfair AND as long as this is NOT resolved we will make an extra effort that everyone we speak to, know, or come across will ALSO know about this.

Listen, please do not order from Wayfair if you are trying to have your furniture deliver in a certain time frame. They will schedule your delivery and set up a time and then continue to reschedule your delivery. It is very inconvenient. If you are not expecting your delivery until days and weeks after they said it will be there, then fine. But if you are the type of person that looks forward to your shipment when they say it will be delivered, this is not the place. Trust me. I rarely leave reviews but I wanted to leave this so no one goes through the same experience that I am going through. I had to take off work for them to tell me the same time it was supposed to arrive that it is delayed. Especially when you pay over $1,000 for your item. They also do not give any type of compensation for this.
Horrible customer service
They have wasted hours of my time and I'm still waiting on a vanity that has yet to arrive six weeks later after I ordered it. I am going to be canceling this order as the customer service agents are horrific wasting my time and being completely not helpful. I will never use this company or buy anything from them again and I warn others that you cannot trust what Wayfair says
