I ordered the Fiezemer 2 - Drawer Nightstand from Wayfair for my daughter's birthday, and it displayed no visible screws in the one image that was available, which is why I ordered it vs other nightstands. It did not have any reviews, which I thought was strange but was hoping for the best. Now I just figured out that if the item is returned it will not allow you to review it. Also, when trying to review it the same one popped up for $24 less but as a different listing... The nightstand came very dirty, with a bad smell, visible screws all over the sides, on top of the shelf. I colored some of them white to hopefully blend them in a little more. It looks bad and is bulky with another defective area between the drawers with the middle piece of wood being about an inch back vs at the very front with both drawers so there is no gap. I requested a return due to the defects and planned on writing a review yet the site won't allow me to now. That is sketchy and clearly if you're not allowed to write a review on a defective/returned item then not all reviews are accurate on Wayfair.com.
I ordered a computer desk for my wife's birthday which was suppose to arrive on Sep 15. Wayfair didn't send me information about the item being delivered after that date. We've been waiting on it since this morning. Only by going on their site did I find out it won't be here today. Poor communication by Wayfair. I would have paid for faster delivery if they would have informed me it wouldn't be here when they said it would.
They have the worst delivery time, they don't update anything within your order to track your delivery AND the packages arrived opened and boxes torn severely. I've given this company so many chances to get it right. I'm DONE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE EVER!

I ordered a dining table and six chairs. I paid for full delivery service which included full assembly. The set was delivered and taken to the kitchen for assembly. I stayed in a nearby room. I heard the delivery guys working, and after about one hour, heard them cleaning up. I thought they were just sitting the boxes outside so I walked into the kitchen, expecting the job was complete. The table and two chairs were put together. I looked outside. The delivery guys were getting in their truck. I thought maybe they went to lunch, or just went out for a break. They never came back. After two hours, I called Wayfair customer service. I was told they allow about an 1.5 hours for the job. I told her they were here about one hour. She stated she could send someone to finish the job, in two days. I disagreed with waiting an additional two days. I stated I didn't see anything about it taking multiple days to complete assembly and I didn't want to wait. She then offered me a partial refund on the assembly so I could hire a "handyman" to complete the assembly. I asked to speak with a manager, told no manager was available. Asked to speak with another rep., could not transfer the call. She stated she gave me options but I wasn't agreeable to them. I stated I had paid them to do the job. Several other words were exchanged. She ends the call by telling me she scheduled me again for Thursday, you have a nice day, and hung up. So, unless you have a "handyman" on speed dial, RUN, AND DON'T LOOK BACK. I will never purchase another item from Wayfair. But if you like rude customer service reps., paying for a service you didn't get, and spending multiple days waiting, order something. I'm sure they will be happy to take advantage of you too.
After seeing many ads on Wayfair for 10% off our order for signing up for their email newsletter, we entered our email. However, when we revived our confirmation email we received no code (required to get the 10% off). We then called to find out what happened and we're told — get this: the 10% off is randomly generated and is not available to everyone. This is beyond sleazy, and NOT what was advertised. The funny part is we were just about to make a big purchase on Wayfair (multiple pieces of furniture), but now going to Overstock instead. Best of luck, Wayfair: I'm done with you.
Do not order a shed from wayfair. They are not set up to deliver it. You will get multiple missed delivery dates, which is problematic as they want you to have 2-3 people lined up to unload it. When you call, you can expect to be met w/ 20+ minute wait times followed by multiple levels of people who simply have better things to do than talk to you about the $4000 dollar shed you bought, waited for, and now cant get delivered. Of all the infuriating bureaucratic support quagmires I have dealt w/ in recent memory, this ranks right up at the top. Based on wait times, I assume they have huge call volume( many customers needing to sort out issues), too few call people (wayfair doesnt care) and once you do get on the line, its clear they just want to stone wall you. Id say pass on this shed and go poke yourself in the eye. It will clearly be more fun and more enjoyable.
Ordered Midford 35'' light fixture. Size is closer to 26''. Living room picture from site and dining room is my installed light.
Bad, bad, bad. They opened a mastercard without my knowledge or permission and put my charges on it and then charged on it interest on. I did not ask for, nor did i want, a credit card. They did this on their own. I have now been on hold for an hour trying to resolve this mess. DON'T DO IT!
I just moved and decided to order a couch, vanity, and tv stand from wayfair. This was just five months ago, and the couch already has to be replaced. I'm not stressing that though. Im stressing the fact that wayfair is STILL taking money out of my account, even after I called them and was told I owe them nothing one day, and then two days later told I owe them money after I called yet again because they took money out of my account. They did the same thing just last month. Finally I called my bank to remove access. I don't know what's going on, but it stinks! Run! Save money by going to another company!
I ordered a trundle bed from Wayfair for an elderly relative that needed to move into assisted living. I had to have the bed by July 1,2021, her move in date. I ordered the bed on June 9,2021 and was given a delivery date of June 24,2021. The next day I was given a new deliver date of July 14-23rd. This was not acceptable, so I cancelled the order immediately. Wayfair sent an email saying the order was cancelled on June 10th and then on June 11th reneged and said my order could NOT be cancelled. I wrote Wayfair's customer service, and was told,
"I see that the warehouse was unable to confirm your cancellation request due to the order being too far in their shipping process. The order will ship out as estimated. You can request an address change through your My Account if you need it delivered somewhere else. Or, if you cannot longer accept the item, you will be able to set up a free return as the cancellation was denied."
First, there is absolutely no way this item could have already been shipped, since Wayfair had just admitted they could not be delivered in time for my relative to move into assisted living. Furthermore, they did not give me a free return as promised in their email. They charged me $93.94 to return the item. So… buyer beware! I will never do business with Wayfair again, and neither should anyone else.
What is happening to a once very reliable company?
We ordered furniture for our Christian preschool and kindergarten in June of 21. We were told that the expected delivery date would be first week of August.
After many phone calls and email attempts to request tracking information we received no information on tracking numbers. Phone calls were answered by a machine. 50% of the time and about half of the time there was no response to our questions.
We finally decided to cancel our orders and did receive cancellation confirmation over the phone with a email response stating the cancellation of the orders had been accepted.
Both phone conversation and email stated a
3 and a half, to 5 week processing before we could expect to receive our money back.
Now after the 5 weeks have passed "we" reached out to Wayfair again to learn from the same contact "manager" we have that "she" was misinformed and now she was told by her financial people it is 8 weeks to process return funds.
There is more to this story that I will follow up with in greater detail in the next few days.
All we want is our money returned and close this nightmare of a seemed to be a simple purchasing process.

7 weeks on and no idea where item is!
Ordered an item for delivery on 3rd July 2021. Still waiting 7 weeks later for the item. Three promised delivery dates have come and gone. The latest was for yesterday the 18th August. No updates, no communication, system still states delivery expected yesterday. I have to ring up every other day to customer service and as it stand they have no idea where the item is or when it can be expected for delivery. Absolutely appalling customer service and I would suggest you avoid at all costs.
I'm surprised to see a low score on here. Wayfair has been amazing for me, I've been so pleased! I've ordered probably 20-30 items over the years, each one has been great. One chair came with three legs instead of four, so they sent me a new chair! I don't think I'm easily pleased, and I am a happy Wayfair customer.
Bought a Shower Enclosure from Wayfair. Should have read the reviews before I bought. I am being charged for this item since the 24th of July and still don't have it. Customer Service makes all kind of promises and don't deliver. When you hold their feet to the fire about when the product is going to be delivered all you get is lies. Then you catch them in the lies they couldn't care less. Was promised the item between Aug 5-12th. Then found out they lost it. Was told it shipped on July 27th from New Jersey to Tallahassee Fl. Now they say they can't deliver it to Old Town Florida from Tallahassee until the 24th of Aug. Can"t say I believe it but can't cancel the order either. And above all I'm having to pay for the item since the 24th of July.(On a order I have no idea when or if I will be getting this item. Awful Customer Service. Don't believe a word they say. BUYER BEWARE! Buy from Home Depot or Lowes. Anywhere but Wayfair.
The delivery date for my grill was set when I completed my purchase. The delivery date was then pushed out indefinitely. Cost me $80 to cancel delivery. Wayfair changes the terms of the purchase by weeks, yet I absorb the expense. Terrible.
Sold for delivery to my door on 8/1 delayed of course, wasted a whole day off work as fed ex said it was coming 8/5.8/6 finally showed up and the Fed ex driver dumped it at my very open mailbox! I bought an open box table set from wayfair and the WHOLE set aside from two chairs got lost in shipping. So when I initially called the guy was very kind and recommended waiting a few days and if they didn't appear wayfair would send a whole new set as a replacement. I called a few days later and the woman with whom I spoke made a big deal about overriding whatever system to send out a BRAND NEW, as she repeated 7 times, set to me. I received the rest of it today and the top of the table was visibly damaged. I called to get this righted, after waiting two extra weeks without the purchased set, and I was offered a new table or 15% back. After the strife and stress; I pointed out the table they were offering was worth more than the 15% they were offering and the woman insisted that was all I was going to get "so I should just take that or the 20% in store credit." The quality is great aside from the damage to the top, but the service was subpar to say the least and their associates have an issue with empathizing with stressed and concerned customers. Not happy with my experience.
After ordering three piece of custom upholstery which as supposed to be delivered 10 to 12 weeks out my credit card was charged at 10 weeks. Then a week later at week 11 when I thought it was getting ready to ship I got an email saying order has been cancelled. It is still all available on their website. I was told I could reorder and start over! Customer service does not care, knows nothing and is no help AVOID AT ALL COSTS
First time buyer, I purchased a kitchen faucet. When the plumber finally made it out. It fell apart as he tried to install it. (Manf defect.) CSR was nice but could not get exception to 30 day return policy. It was 6 days over. With staff shortages it's hard to get installation services rendered. Will NEVER shop here again!
