Terrible quality

Wayfair ripped off my mom sold here junk furniture. They showed pics that were nice looking when we got them the TV stand and the end tables were made of pressed cardboard so thin it was ridiculous. Tried to return they wanted 117 to return more than their value. Terrible terrible terrible. Buyer beware

I purchased 2 not cheap wood planters that were advertised in their own words as weather resistant and "The cedar wood components are pre-stained with an environmentally safe water-based stain to ensure lasting service". Both items came defective and Wayfair team was quick to send replacement parts that arrived a few weeks later but after only 2 months of the boxes being under a covered porch they are both covered in fungus and mold and falling apart. One of them was never even filled with plants and has not been exposed to water, only the dew of the FL nights. Warranty says only 30 days so they are not offering any type of compensations and I cannot even leave them as decor because of the disgusting mold and fungus growing everywhere not to mention that they are peeling... I have never seen "wood" that peels. $300 wasted on falsely advertised products, will never buy anything from them.

Terrible company

Wayfair is the worst company I have had to deal with. If you cancel items that have not even been shipped, they still charge you fees.

BTW, everything they sell is available on Amazon also at a much lower price and also no fee for cancellation or return. Stay away from Wayfair.

DO NOT ORDER FROM WAYFAIR! You will pay more than other online retailers and receive not only broken pieces but the most laughable "customer service" in history. I paid for a desk that was not delivered on time (after paying additional shipping charges) and I received it in broken condition. Online means easy, right? Well, 5 phone calls later and 2 customer service reps, Sam and Erin, who call themselves supervisors but sound like robots. An apology is what I received in exchange for countless hours of lost time and a retailer incapable of proving what they claim. Oh! And their business office has called me 3 times in the last week to solicit more business from me - another robot who has not listened to the fact that my first - and only - experience with Wayfair was atrocious and not worth repeating. Buyer beware. Go to Home Depot - they have the same furniture for less and intelligent people who work for them.

Bait and switch company

Wayfair did a flat out bait and switch. They showed me a 3 piece living room set consisting of couch, loveseat and chair. The order and shipping correspondence all said it contained 3 items. It showed up minus a loveseat, I double checked right then and Wayfair service first said sorry, and ordered a replacement loveseat. Then a week later they said I only ordered the 2 piece living room set. I rechecked my order, but since all correspondence only references a link, they had swapped my order to the 2 piece set. Since I didn't have a screen shot of the original links in my order I can't prove it.

They bait and switched and then lied to me about it. Despicable company, complete fraud and cheat. Take a screenshot of your order because they don't really give you a static copy of your receipt.

I recently ordered a bridal gift through The Knot. The item came from Wayfair. When I received the gift, the shipping label was placed on the original package (not shipped in a box) and retaped like it was already opened. I cannot remove the shipping label. The box is a mess and looks pathetic to give as a gift. I contacted both The Knot and Wayfair and neither company will do anything about. Absolutely disgusted!

AVOID Wayfair

I highly recommend AVOIDING any purchases through Wayfair!
I ordered a shower enclosure through them. Their website was full of contradictory information about the item, so I called and ordered through one of their representatives and had them triple check to make sure the correct size was ordered. They sent one that was COMPLETELY THE WRONG SIZE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. Their system is set up to JUST KEEP SHUFFLING YOU AROUND. It took TWO MONTHS and talking to and emailing over 10 representatives. They were mostly nice, but any time I finally thought we had the issue resolved and a correct size being sent then they would start me completely over talking to someone new. They NEVER DID SEND THE CORRECT SIZE! Ultimately, they pretended like they had resolved the issue, gave me a refund, and blocked me from putting a review on the product so I could help others avoid the same fate. (They wouldn't allow a review because the item had been "returned".)
I ended up ordering the product through Lowe's. They were more expensive, but TOTALLY WORTH THE EXTRA COST TO NOT DEAL WITH WAYFAIR! Unlike Wayfair, their site was totally clear, there was no question on the size I was being sent, the correct item was sent the first time, and delivery was twice as fast.
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH WAYFAIR AGAIN!

Horrible customer service

The customer service of wayfair is horrible. I ordered a dining table that was supposed to be delivered within two weeks. They kept pushing the estimated delivery day further and, despite my many emails, they said there is nothing they can do about it. Ultimately, they cancel the order without even calling me or emailing before. Although I called them the next day, they said that there is nothing they can do about it. Save your time and money and opt for a more reliable provider!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I order closet barn doors, advised a delivery 7/6/21. On 7/6/21 there was not delivery, when I spoke to customer service I was advised "FedEx is currently experiencing delays of up to 6 days after the delivery date due to the volume of packages in their possession and I should hear something by 7/9/2021." Being proactive on 7/8/2021 I checked for deliver and was again told by customer service " I do see your Paneled Wood Unfinished Barn Door without Installation Hardware Kit shipped out on June 30th under FedEx tracking, (numbers given for tracking) We are still waiting for the first scan which can take several days. FedEx is currently experiencing delays of up to 6 days after the delivery date due to the volume of packages in their possession. I can assure you they are working to get this to you as fast as possible. You should receive your item no later than 9pm July 11th, 2021. If you have not received it by then or see a change on the tracking you can request a free replacement through your My Account! We know it is disappointing when your item does not arrive when expected. We truly appreciate your patience".
Today 7/9/2021, I received an email stating " The manufacturer of the Paneled Wood Unfinished Barn Doors you recently ordered has notified us that this item is out of stock until September. Would you be willing to wait for the doors to restock or would you prefer we cancel the order for you.
I requested a Full refund and I will make sure to call my credit card company...
I will NEVER try and order from them again. POOR SERVICE!

Wish I could use swear words! The bed I ordered - The order that customer service told me I would have delivered to my apartment door (A big fat lie), was on its way to me yesterday morning - 10 miles away - but by yesterday afternoon, I was told the delivery would not occur by end of day like initially stated. Now (next day) the order is 70 miles away and I am told that, The trundle piece of the bed, is being sent back to Wayfair for inspection. I called to see if I could just cancel the order but of course I can't. Wayfair will blame it on FedEx and FedEx will blame it on Wayfair. Never again will I order from Wayfair or it's associated affiliates (Joss&Main, ALLMODERN or Birch Lane). I pray that I get the opportunity to cancel this!

I purposefully called to place an order for a bed and mattress to be sure about the delivery process. The information online was a bit confusing to me. Obviously it was also misunderstood by the Wayfare service representative. I was told that my mattress and bed would be delivered to my apartment door on Jul 6 and 9 respectively, and that I would be called ahead of time by FedEx in order to meet them. HOWEVER, Since neither the mattress nor the bed (A full-size daybed with trundle) is considered to be a large size purchase (?), I discovered yesterday (Jul 2) when my mattress was left in the lobby of my apartment building several days earlier than expected, delivery to my apartment door is not actually possible. I wouldn't be upset had I not stressed to the customer service representative that I needed to be able to have my furniture delivered to my door. I shopped around for a very long time in order to find what I liked and also have it delivered to my door. I don't know what more I could have done! Who knows when I'll be surprised that the bed arrived?! And who knows who I will be able to find to bring the 140 pound box to the third-floor? But now it's all my problem! Great!
Update: and today (4-Jul), I find out that my bed is coming in two shipments! The site and the customer representative stated it would come in one box!
Anyone working at Wayfare should never have the audacity to complain about anything or anyone involved in any profession or service that is even slightly more difficult than reading and writing basic English.

I ordered bar stools that measured with a width of 18.5". The product that came measured a width of 19" and now does not fit in the area we ordered them for. Wayfair customer service said there was nothing they were able to do because it was already assembled. They sell you products that do not match the description and will not refund you if/when they dont work. Awful company, will never shop with them again.

Worst service

Worst worst worst. I have ordered an outdoor fountain which was supposed to deliver within 1 day and I paid for that. I have waited 10 days for the delivery. And it showed Preparing for shipment. I wanted to cancel. I called the customer service and they said I can't cancel the order. I have to wait for 4 more days. The price was much lesser in other sites. I asked them to price match. They denied. I repeatedly requested them to cancel as it was of no use to receive it later. They said if I don't need it I can return but for that I need to pay. What a great service!
1. They will not cancel
2. They will not price match
3. They will not deliver on time
4. There is no free return for their fault.
I had nothing but to to wait. And guess what? I didn't receive the product. And when I called again, they said I need to wait for few more days and when I insisted they said the product is out of stock. And they are going to cancel it.

I bought a sleeper sofa on Wayfair. Beware. I don't usually write reviews I think this is something you should know about Wayfair. There is no quality control and no communication between Wayfair and their manufactures. Let me explain. I live in Florida sporadically throughout the year. I ordered one on their costume made sofas. It came in defective. There is a 3 inch gap between the the back cushions and the bottom cushion. The cushions should meet each other at the joint. It is easily noticeable. I called Wayfair and they said before they could replace they needed to send a repair man out to see it. Their repair man said nothing could be done. Wayfair then ordered a replacement. I had to fly down to Florida for the scheduled delivery again. This I did not mind. However the replacement sofa had the same problem. How many sofas do I need to get before their are no defects. You would think that Wayfair would call their manufacturer to make sure the second one was not defective. They never did even when they knew my situation that I had to fly down to make special accommodations to get the second delivery. Now Covid hits and I had to leave. I can't fly down anymore so now I stuck with a deflective $900 sofa. How many time would I need to fly down to get a non-defective sofa?

The Product Sucked straight out of the box, Ergonomic Gaming Chair for E-Sport Computer PC & Racing Game Chair. Paid 128.68 + Shipping and Tax

1st chair there was "no mounting hole for the Back support to go into", I was told to donate it to good will. Wayfair was sending out a new chair. It arrived Almost 1 month after I received the 1st chair.
I called Square deal Warranty 2 days ago and put in for another warranty of the chair 3 months after owning it the right arm support broke off completely, and the Hydraulic support keeps dropping to the floor.
I got a email from Square trade today saying they understand the problem and in 2-3 days will be shipping out the parts.
They haven't divulged what parts they are sending out.
But there claiming after this replacement there responsibility for this chair is done.
I bought a 3 yr warranty this is just the first 3 months into it, They got another thing coming. Lol

If you order items that need to be delivered do it at your own risk. They companies they use do not know how to move heavy items. They will have the delivery reschedule 3 times claiming they will have more people help. They will damage your item and wreak your home. If you file a complaint the will just tell you after that the deliver person mentioned damages are not covered.

Ordered a blanket that was supposed to be 90x90". The actual product was 96" long but they told me they deduct the return shipping cost from the refund amount. Any other company would have waived the shipping cost in this case.

What Wayfair doesn't tell you is that they will charge you a return fee (shipping costs), even if the product has been misrepresented or is in poor shape upon arrival. They will assume no liability for faulty products, though they claim they do, so people will buy their products. They also leave the customer with no way to post a review after the return is initiated. Take caution. This is a company that clearly cares about its own bottom line and not at all about the customer.

Be aware if you need to return anything to Wayfair you will lose money. My pillow cases cost $26.50. I tried to return the package unopened and was going to be refunded only $16. I will buy locally or on the big "A" going forward. Also this was all brought on due to a Wayfair website issue that didn't confirm my order until I had already purchased, opened and used nearly identical pillow cases from a local store for $12.99. There are better places to shop. Wayfair app has been removed from my life forever. Thankful I learned this with only a 26.59 loss and not ona. Larger expensive item. So wanted to share in hopes of helping avoid someone else's loss.

Worst Delivery ever!

Wayfair's commercials show effortless buying of furniture and accessories delivered smoothly to your door. It might be for some people but that wasn't our experience. We had ordered a sectional sofa and had on order instructions to bring it to top of deck since main living level is up there. They delivered earlier than date given during a rainy week! (We were not there due to we didn't have furniture yet.) There was no tracking no. Or noticed given of delivery. The delivery guys dumped our sofas in between our property and a vacant lot property next-door! Our neighbors to the other side of us saw the large boxes. My senior neighbor rolled the boxes of sofas under our deck to protect it from the worse of the rain. The plastic was off the outside of the packages, just on the ground! The boxes got wet. The inside just had like some light cushion wrap around the sofas, no plastic or much to protect it. The sofa miraculously wasn't wet but there was a slight tear in the corner of the sofa which can get worse over time. This is our 1st time ordering anything from Wayfair and we are NOT happy. The delivery was disgraceful! The worst delivery ever! If it wasn't for our very kind neighbor, our furniture would have been ruined. Wayfair is misleading in its commercials about seamless delivery. There is much improvement needed in that area. Also, they should use sturdier material for sofas or at least reinforce the corners.
