The company has garnered mixed reviews regarding its reputation and customer service. On the positive side, customers appreciate the convenience of the app, particularly for managing parking time remotely and the overall user-friendly interface. However, numerous complaints highlight significant issues, such as overselling parking spaces, failure to provide promised shuttle services, and inadequate customer support during critical situations. Many customers express frustration over poor communication and a perceived lack of accountability from the company. This combination of convenience and customer dissatisfaction indicates a pressing need for improved service reliability and responsiveness to enhance overall customer experience.

My flight was cancelled but Hampton Inn / Way didn't refund, no way to cancel or change reservation, and no contact info, no pickup directions, just a paper with a reservation #. Way and the hotel point at each other as is the case with reservation aggregators. I now use Park Shuttle and Fly - stress free parking and pickup.
I used it once to reserve an Airport parking spot. It worked, but the place we parked was horrible. The reviews were totally fake. The real review for that lot on Google and Yelp truly showed how horrible it was. I tried posting a negative review about the lot on Way.com and they never posted it. Never using Way.com again.
I purchased 5 days of prepaid parking from Way.com. On my return day, June 18,2023, I arrived early and went to get my car. My Way.com voucher was not honored. After multiple calls to Way.com and an extended hold, I finally spoke to a live person. After an additional time on hold, they advised that because I was leaving the parking facility 25 mins early, my way.com voucher was being rejected. I was advised to pay the full parking facility prices and submit my receipt "for a refund." I did so and after several days of inaction, I checked my credit card online. Not only was there no refund, of either the original amount or the full facility amount I was forced to pay, I saw that Way.com had actually made duplicate charges to my card for the same facility and the same period!
When I filed a dispute with my credit card for the second charge, Way.com then advised that I would need to drop my dispute in order for them to reverse the charge. I called my credit card and withdrew the dispute so Way.com could proceed with the refund. I advised Way.com the day the dispute was dropped.
I then received follow up emails from Way.com advising that I still needed to drop the dispute and I advised them that I had already done so. Well, I have now received an email from Way.com saying I must provide to them PROOF that I dropped the dispute in order for them to proceed.
Never have I ever experienced this kind of run around from any service provider. I have disputed credit card charges in the past and they were resolved by the merchant directly with the card company. The merchant reverses the charge and the dispute is resolved. I have never had to cancel a dispute for it to be resolved.
I have now been charged $125 by Way.com for services it did not provide in addition to the charges I had to pay to the parking facility in order to get my car out...because I arrived 25 minutes early.
Way.com is an unreliable service provider with atrocious customer services that will give you the run around and not work to resolve any issues with the goods and services it may or may not provide.
I would caution against purchasing any goods or services from Way.com and if you choose to do so, buyer beware. Don't expect any kind of satisfactory customer service from this company.
I had a reservation for 7 days near DFW. When I went to the hotel where the parking was reserved, the front office said we won't honor any reservation. The parking lot was literally empty.
I had to park at the airport and paid close to 4 times more since it was last minute.
I called Way.com customer service and they said thst the parking lot was full. It was not true.
I requested for them to cover my parking charges since I was not informed about the cancelation and I had no choice other than to park at an expensive place.
All I got from then is sorry. They only refunded their charges. When I asked to escalate ro a Manager, they were just directing the call between the customer service reps and everyone was repeating the same story like parrots.
Finally I was told by someone thst called themselves as a Manager that I will get s call from a higher up with 24-48 hours. That higher up is someone that can address the real customer service snd give me a resolution since I had to pay close to $130 extra becoz of their in efficiency.
I almost felt silly and booking with way.com is like a playing slot machines.
My opinion is, if you are not able to provide proper customer service, don't do business and tell the customer that you cannot make sure of a simple reservation.
Your repeated feeling sorry did not fix the problem.
You should have responsible people taking calls and provide resolution.
I was told no one in the company had th3 power to cover for my insane parking fees that I had to pay because of ur poor, I don't care kind of customer service.
I have never used way, but I work at a hotel featured as one of their parking locations. We do not offer airport parking. They got a hold of our address and people started showing up. We do not have any contact with them despite efforts to get our address removed. We tried to take the parking for a while despite not receiving any profit from it but have had to stop due to the volume interfering with our guest's parking experience. Since doing that we have had to turn away numerous people before their flight. Call ahead to the location you are thinking of booking at to make sure they truly do offer parking.
Just another scammer out there hiding behind 'tax and fees'. My reservation was for $7/day for 5 days + tax. My initial receipts was $42. When we returned, I checked my credit card acct only to find out they charged ne $59... that's $35 plus $24 in tax and fees. I will NEVER use Way again!
Overpriced scam. Many hotels don't accept them despite them taking your payment. Also price listed changed when you get to purchase page. 3x as much as just parking for more expensive onsite parking.
Way is embedded in practically all online parking purchases, even if their name does not appear on the purchase/listing right away. Once you make the purchase, you're charged at that instance. Way promises that you can cancel as long as it's right before you park, but good luck doing that. I spent hours on the phone, on hold, and sent three emails with no one answering/responding. I had to contact my bank and dispute the charge in order to have it removed off my credit card. This company is not transparent and it does not follow the terms of its own policy, even if you try.
Stay away from these crooks. They do not take care of their customers. They sell parking spaces that they do not own or cannot guarantee. You put yourself at risk of missing flights/events. When this happens Way.Com does nothing to help or accommodate you. Stay Away.
Made a reservation and showed up. The parking place couldn't find my reservation at all made me rebook. They couldn't find that second reservation either. Ended up having to leave my car in a rush to make my flight called later when I saw I've been charged twice on my credit card and was on the phone for over three hours, and they still were not able to give me a refund. I will never park this way again
If you cancel in the allowed time window they try to keep your payment on your account as "way bucks" which you do not find out until after you confirm and download their app. I waited 11 mins to speak to them and they did fold on the way bucks, but it shouldn't be that difficult to cancel a reservation. I would avoid them as there are plenty of parking sites that don't play this game
Reserved parking with way.com. However, when arriving at the lot ALL the spaces were full. Had to give up my car keys to a parking attendant who damaged my car. It would have never happened, if I parked the car myself.
Booked airport parking. Arrived at lot but attendant said they wouldn't honor Way.com booking purchase. Said to call Way.com for a refund. Waited on hour, no answer and had to find another lot on my own. Barely made my flight. Called again, this time waited almost two hours to get a person. Way.com responded they will refund the cost within 7-10 business days. Waiting for refund still (my 10th business day now and no refund yet). Would never ever use way.com for anything else.
I would give them a zero if it were an option. We called the day before as instructed, but when we got there, they didn't have a driver to take us to the airport. We called again the day before our trip was concluded and again when our plane landed. Again, they had no one to pick us up. Finally, 45 minutes later, after much frustration, they called an Uber. I will never use them again.
My airline delayed my flight due to weather for most of a day before they finally cancelled my flight. Since I would be missing the conference I was trying to get to anyway, and the airline was trying to gouge me on the replacement flight to make it in time, I had to cancel my whole trip. I never even pulled into this lot and still had to pay for it because the circumstances went against their company policy. I'm in the wrong because I chose Way.com.
I had a reservation for the airport parking at a hotel. There was no way to get in the parking garage without taking a ticket so that was another $8 to my $80.56. I went to the front desk they said I wouldn't get a shuttle for a long time when I needed to be on the plane. I contacted the company wanting my money back. They said they couldn't make an exception "just for me" but I never used the parking plus paid more. Very unprofessional company. How can they charge you when you didn't use it and the garage had plenty of parking spots to fill it wasn't full so they could of still made their money and probably did.
They moved my initial parking spot an hour before I had to check in at the airport. It happened to be further and through construction. I ended up parking at the airport and spending 266 dollars. After vacation I called and asked for a refund and they refused. Like I told the supervisor I hope the money gets your family some good Christmas gifts.
Atlanta airport parking, "from 6.00 a day"! It's a great way to draw us in, but when you get your dates set... It's actually 30/day, with no reason given for the price jump. Also no specific location given, to look at a map and confirm the location.
That's when I started looking for reviews. We are traveling for two weeks with a niece who's very nervous about flying, did not need any confusion at the start of the trip.
So, while I can't actually comment on the service... The lead-up is miserable and I will not be using the way.com service.
Airport parking is advertised as easy cancellation and full refund. Way.com doesn't even tell you the total as you process the payment (only parking + taxes up until that point). It's when payment has gone through that they disclose their ridiculous fees as well. Refund now, somehow, is in the form of waybucks and not back to your credit card. I'm on the phone right now, for the past 25 minutes trying to get in touch with someone.
Save yourself the trouble. Stay away from them.
PLEASE don't fall for this fake company! My wife and I booked parking in advance in NYC for our weekend visit, paid $56, and then were told "We don't recognize that company or reservation" when we got to the garage. The local owner had to charge us a his rate for parking, about half of what I paid online at www.way.com, and then said "You'll need to contact the other guys to get your money back". Fair enough - I fell for a scam! Then when I got home, we discovered that the same credit card had been hijacked by someone trying to buy train tickets in Taiwan. (Fortunately my bank rejected the transaction and locked the account until I called them).
I won't get my original $56 back, but it's on account of my own carelessness and as they say:"That's life in the big city, kid!". I'm really posting this so others don't fall for this SCAM B.S. Company.
