The company has garnered mixed reviews regarding its reputation and customer service. On the positive side, customers appreciate the convenience of the app, particularly for managing parking time remotely and the overall user-friendly interface. However, numerous complaints highlight significant issues, such as overselling parking spaces, failure to provide promised shuttle services, and inadequate customer support during critical situations. Many customers express frustration over poor communication and a perceived lack of accountability from the company. This combination of convenience and customer dissatisfaction indicates a pressing need for improved service reliability and responsiveness to enhance overall customer experience.

If you are looking for airport parking deals way.com is the best market place. I will definitely recommend way.com for frequent travelers.
I booked parking through Way.com for a Thrifty Parking lot in Boston. It was listed about $20 cheaper than directly through Thrifty. I submitted my credit card info and clicked buy. The confirmation page then showed taxes added to the price which ended up... you guessed it, the same price as directly through Thrifty, which had listed the total with "taxes included". So Buyer Beware. Shady sales tactics at best. I felt scammed. The $20 isn't a huge deal, but I believe I should have only paid for what they listed. Half a dozen emails to them have gotten me nowhere. Mostly just automated responses. The one or two non computer generated responses have not addressed my questions or concerns.
Bottom Line - Avoid Way.com. They are just a third party con artist.
They are providing the best location based parking services. The best thing is that I Got Parking in Tacoma airport with in few minutes of online check.
I booked and paid for covered parking for a 19 day trip on June. During my trip I received an email with a new invoice that contained a different parking company, address, and much higher rate than what I had originally paid so I assumed that there was some mistake. I wrote to the way.com customer service and let them know to please not charge my MC with this higher amount since I had already parked my vehicle at the original booking location and already paid. I also included my original confirmation and invoice to the email.
When I went to pick up my car after traveling over 24 hours with two small children, the parking garage said that the parking was not paid for and had been canceled. I had to contact way.com at that time and they said that they cancelled the parking. I said that they cancelled the incorrect reservation and if they could please rectify the bill so that I could retrieve my vehicle. They were not going to help me in any way even though they screwed up and I ended up paying the garage directly the full amount in the end.
Also, the car was not parked in a covered garage as I reserved.
Just recently used them in SeaTac (Seattle/Tacoma airport). Would NEVER use them again.
Way.com booked us at a parking lot they are no longer partnered with. Their customer service is non-existent, which is horrible considering I was calling them to fix *their* mistake. I called their customer service line at 1 PM on a Thursday and nobody was there to take the call. Just got a recorded message telling me to resolve any issues online.
Ultimately any kind of customer service issues had to be emailed to a general support email, which is only email address for anyone in the entire company. I finally got a reply back, and it's from someone who either ignored everything I said or didn't really understand English as the responses to my emails made little to no sense. I wasted about 5 emails back and forth to accomplish nothing.
Apparently the only way to get a real response was to write a negative review online, and even then, they did nothing to make things right other than finally agree to refund my payment to them (which takes 5-7 business days). We ended up paying the difference at the lot, which cost us about an extra $20 for a 4 day trip with tax. Way.com is a major headache which just ends up costing you precious time and effort for nothing in return.
I booked parking through them and the hotel shuttle was supposed to run every 5 minutes but it NEVER CAME after 45 min I had to call a taxi or miss my flight. Same upon my return. I contacted WAY and basically was told it was my problem not theirs! DON"T USE!
We booked on line to park near and were given an address. When we arrived there was no one there and 3 cars that were trying to leave were honking their horns to get someone to open the gate. The sign says to scan your email to get in because if you take a ticket you will be charged hourly but the scanner doesn't work. Finally someone came from across the street to let us in and process the others to exit. We went to the shuttle and waited to go to the airport. It was 3/4 full. After 30 minutes we asked the driver when we are going to the airport. He said after the bus is completely full! After 15 more minutes a couple arrives and he drives to the airport.
When we arrived back at LAX it was 8pm and we called for a shuttle. After 30 minutes we asked when a shuttle was coming but did not get a specific answer. After 45 minutes we tried calling they refused to answer the phone. After waiting more than an hour we took a taxi to the parking lot. Again there were cars trying to get out and no one to open the gate. I went to the office and told the clerk I would be right back to talk about the shuttle and phone issues. After getting our car the clerk left and locked up the office.
Please use a reputable company like Joe's parking. While waiting for Way I counted 12 Joe's shuttles picking up people at LAX.
I booked parking through Way.com for a lot near Chicago Midway. I got to the lot and was turned away because Way.com overbooked them. I was told to contact Way.com for a refund and I did. I have been fighting with Way.com and my Credit Card provider for 3 months now and still have not gotten a refund.
I have operated a parking lot at Jacksonville Airport FL, this company started to offer our parking spots at a very discounted rates to customers (50% off) When I called and asked them to stop selling at this rate, they agreed to change the rate and compensate the difference to me. I honored their word and kept accepting the customers during holidays for a price of 2.99 a/day (unheard of) When time came to pay up they disappeared. It is a scam, this company is no good for any of its offerings..
AVOID AT ALL COST. I reserved parking from there a couple days before my trip down south. I show up to the parking garage place and they told me they cannot honor any reservations from way as they are out of spaces. I was a couple hours from my flight! I ended up paying double at the parking spot. I emailed them and told them they almost made me miss my flight, an active duty service member trying to spend time with my family on leave. Customer service just said great! Here's your refund. Horrible experience.
Do not use way.com. I booked a reservation, got to the parking location and was told that they had stopped using the site months prior. I had to pay for my parking at the location even though I already paid way.com online. It has been two weeks, I cannot get a response or refund from way.com.
Don't use this company. They book you airport parking for a very cheap price, confirm your reservation for the parking company, charge your credit card, then change parking to another location, and when you get to the new parking location, the parking company will not accept the GUARANTEED rates quoted by Way.com, You end up paying triple the amount that was initially agreed. By then, you are rushing to catch a flight and have no choice but to pay sky high rates at the parking location.
Way.com is just an interface to reach out to parking vendors and they actually dont verify any of them.
The company I went to through way.com collected my car keys and dropped me at the airport. On return, the respective car parking company rep who work for "Best Kept Secret (JFK) Parking Service" walked down the road and when I followed him, I found that my car was parked in one of the streets close to their store. I am glad no damage has happened to the car but I just got out of that luckily.
So, rather than paying for way.com, take a list of vendors information from the website, go to the location, check if its a nice community or a good company and book with the company directly. This will save money and its safe too.
My husband booked a parking space on Way.com for our trip a few days before Christmas. We went to the spot as the direction instructed and found an empty driveway with locked doors, we could not get in of course and the owner of the place wasn't home. We called the operator, she kept asking us to knock on the door while I kept telling her the house was dark and no one was home. Because it's holiday season they of course couldn't find us another parking space so we had to go use the airport parking. If we didn't want to save money we would've gone there in the first place instead of using Way.com and wasting our time and almost missing our flight. This is so poorly coordinated and planned. I am not sure who's to be blamed, but if you are contracting ppl with their private spaces, make sure you co-ordinate with them ahead! Although they refunded us promptly I am still very very disappointed at them and will not recommend using their service.
I was charged an extra day upon trying to get my car at offsite airport parking after 20+ hrs of travel. I just wanted to get home! On my reservation I put my flight arrival time, 4pm, I didnt arrive at parking lot until 5:30pm. Apparently, you have to estimate for any flight delays, time to get through customs, shuttle time to the parking garage. Way needs to make it clear that you must see into the future when you make your reservation.
NOT WORTH IT! If I could do zero stars I would! I booked 2 parking spaces for Chicago Midway airport on 5/31/17 for service 6/3 through 6/11/2017 with taxes and everything my credit card was charged $160.64. The day we were to depart I received a text informing me that my reservations (that were paid for) had been cancelled because cars that were supposed to be picked up were not! WOW! They texted 2 phone numbers to call for refund *******198 and David Taylor *******094 (manager or sales rep, couldn't tell you because he is ignoring me!). It was the weekend wasn't able to get a hold of anyone! I texted back the number who informed me of the cancellation and I was upset asking if this was a SCAM and the person texted back "You paid way.com Call them. They will Refund you. Not a scam. You selected the website not me! I am blocking you" WHAT? Well back from my vacation and 11 days later STILL NO REFUND! STAY AWAY!
Their extra $20 shuttle access and service fee is not mentioned until the very end! And it states that shuttle is free - it is not, never wasting time with way.com again!
I booked parking through way.com in NYC JFK airport, and the carpark they support actually used my car in my absence (80 miles clocked up on my car) and money, sunglasses, quarter coins disappeared from my car, and they gave it back to me reeking of smoke and dirty.
I have sent them a letter detailing what happened: no news.
I am in the process of going to the police with this.
AVOID THEIR PARKING SERVICES AT ALL COST!
I'll definitely use this site again in the future.
