Exchange policy

I recently ordered a case for my cell phone and was sent the wrong size. After trying to determine a address to return it to I was amazed by scam I was put through. I finally walked into a Walmart only to be told a third party had sold me the item. They gave me the top secret phone number to call for resolution. I called the number and was told through a message that I needed to email my request in order for them to respond. 3 emails later I still have not heard back from them. I can't imagine why I would use Walmart on line again. I should have gone through Amazon.

The online process is cumbersome and does not update automatically. I updated information (i. E., my phone number) but it was not updated for the in store component. The online folks flagged me for fraud and thus my order was "pending" for several days and then later "canceled." However, the online folks did not contact me to let me know my status. I called the store and they said the order must not be ready... even though it was scheduled for pickup 5 hours prior to my phone call. I again tried to contact the "pick up" department in the store (Palm Bay Rd. Location); I was transferred to the department and hung up after 10 minutes on hold. I called back to talk to a manager; hung up after 15 minutes on hold. The next week, I drove to the store to ask about the reason for the cancellation and to ask for a reimbursement for the online coupon code ($10 off groceries was my main reason for trying pickup). After another 15 minutes of explaining to the manager (Mark), the pick up folks gave me an 800 number to call. After another 15 minute phone call, the online folks problem solved, found that I was flagged as fraud, and then reversed the fraud alert. After 2 hours I logged back in and ordered again. However, the pick up folks at the store still didn't have my updated information (i. E., cell number). I am grateful they are diligent towards the possibility of fraud, but the online folks and the in-store folks need to coordinate better if they plan to competed in the grocery pick up market.

BEWARE

I have been using Walmart.com for years, apparently they have new policy where they are selling THIRD PARTY merchandise on their website. The problem is if you need a refund OR exchange for these items WALMART WILL NOT ACCEPT THEM! Which is not right since they are basically co-signing for them by ALLOWING them to sell via their website! I bout and item that needed to be returned I went to Walmart and they refused to take it told me to contact SELLER... I did and was informed I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR NON REFUNDABLE SHIPPING AND A 40% RESTOCKING FEE! Basically loosing almost ALL OF WHAT I PAID FOR in the FIRST PLACE. Walmart needs to either accept ALL returns on their website OR quit hocking Third Party items. CASE CLOSED.

They sent my husband the wrong order, said they were going to fix it, then sent the wrong order AGAIN and it was LATE. They send contradicting emails too regarding delivery dates, how they are going to fix the problem and what we the customer need to do. We mistakenly took the survey they sent us and gave a good rating because they promised they were going to rush the correct order to us, but they didn't. They promised me two day shipping on a different order but it was VERY late and they refused to give a discount or offer to remedy it in any way.

Horrible service

I ordered a tv online. I purchased the tv on 6/25 and the order stated arrive at the store by July 3. I called on July 3 and I was told the order is delayed and will be at the local store on July 5. I called July 5 and was told the order would arrive today July 7. I called the distribution center and was told the order cannot be tracked. I called and spoke with a gentlemen who states I would need to cancel this order and order it again and ship to my home. Mind you I would be paying shipping. Walmart showed deceptive practices by showing a false date when ordering merchandise from their website. They give a false date to entice a customer to purchase an item preventing the customer from searching other sites. I could have bought a tv from Amazon and had it shipped in two days. An employee told me that I will need to have the order cancelled, refunded back to my card and then go online and purchase the item again. I would have to wait until my bank add the money back to my card. NO I am not being inconvenienced. I want the tv sent to my home immediately because the date of arrival has already passed. Therefore, it is Walmart responsibility to ensure the item I purchased arrives no later than 2 days to my home. I am demanding Walmart give me 50% off my order and pay for expedited shipping. I will never in life order from Walmart.com and I will tweet about this.

Do not use. Took Tahoe in on spare. Explained flat was in back. Bought two new tires. Took hours to change after they pulled it in. When they finished they had put new tires the spare and left flat in back of vehicle. They pulled it back in, took another hour to swap new tire and spare back around then when finished the aluminum wheel was all scratched up. Said a claim would be filed and someone would call. Weeks later, nothing.

Regular shopper. Can find anything I need in store or on line & always the best prices to be found. Employment seems fair and shows diversity including non age discrimination including handicap, mentally challenged. ~ makes it a good feel store for me ~

Walmart.com's performance is an embarrassment. Walmart needs to learn that you don't make their mistake into the customers problem. Walmart sent me a package of 5 breakfast bars rather than the 40 I ordered and paid for. After half an hour of discussions, a supervisor admitted there was a problem on the website and although it said 40 (and charged for 40), it was set to only send 5. The solution was for me to spend my time going back to the post office to send back the five bars (worth about $3) to get a refund. Even though this was clearly their problem, they need those bars back and cannot simply ship the right order.
In addition, I ordered several things from the company at the same time with a guaranteed two day delivery. Half of the order came on time the other half will be at least a day late.
I have literally made hundreds of orders on Amazon.com without any similar problems. Walmart needs to learn to fulfill their promises and put the customer first.
As for me, never again will I order on Walmart.com

Thought I was happy with the offer, the price and delivery time frame. But because of the financial incentive to "pick up" my package in the local store, I allowed it to be delivered to Walmart instead of my home. Identified myself to the counter clerk at the pick-up counter via my drivers license and waited till he found my parcel. I was horrified when Xavier, the clerk, took out his box knife, tore open my private package, and went through its contents, emptying out the item, my invoice, packing materials and against my verbal protests, lied to me stating his register told him to open the box before turning it over to me. When I insisted on seeing the alleged directive, he admitted there was no such written directive and faintly apologized. He would not look me in the eye, and asked if i then wanted to take the item, the torn box, the paperwork and the packing. I am disgusted that the clerk has knowledge of my address, my name, date of birth, and other personal information, and had the audacity to open up my parcel without my permission. Walmart Corporate office states the only time clerks may check contents of a parcel is if it had been damaged in transit. That makes sense. This clerk had no right to invade my privacy. Since walmart had shipped to me via Federal Express, the federal regulations against mail tampering are in question. Store manager, nor corporate offering any solution/compensation. Beware of malicious mischief in Walmart clerk and counter handlers when you order online. Have them ship to your home instead to protect your privacy.

Great merchandise, great prices, great delivery and return policies as well.
The ONLY time they screwed up was when they haphazardly THREW 4 bottles of mouthwash and DUMPED 6 boxes of Band-Aids (all the boxes opened up. Wheee (NOT)! Band-Aids all over the place!) into a big box and sent it to me-- they got everything back in the same condition that I received it in.
