Walmart is huge and is cheaper most of the time, everyone knows that. My beef with Walmart.com is I will look online to see if it's in the store. I live in a somewhat small town so it's a 20 minute drive across the town and to jump on the highway to the next exit where Walmart is, which isn't a long drive by any means, but I still don't want to show up there and waste 40-60 minutes of my time to find out they don't have what I want. Anyways, I look up a DVD or some other product, go to their store, and there is a big price difference. A $6 Walmart.com DVD will be $20 in the store (the same EXACT DVD) which to me is ridiculous. It's the same company!

My other problem is that site to store is inconsistent so I stopped using it. I either ship it to my house or don't get it, which 99.9999% of the time I ship it to my house if I want it and have the money :) Site to store completely lost my item one time for my daughter's birthday and was confused on where it went and then resent the wrong item (it was a multiple item order). Then I talked to site to store and talked to the man in the store multiple times. Finally I got the right item shipped to my house a few weeks after my daughter's birthday. I'll give them some credit because both of the toys were dinosaur train talking figures, but the actual process to get it solved should not have been over complicated.

Other than that, shipping has always been fast and low in pricing. I wasn't thrilled with the wayfair picnic table, but that's a different company they use (I believe) so it didn't reflect in the stars.

I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but because there were quite a few different occasions of inconsistent pricing (well almost always on this subject) and a long drawn out over-complicated process on the toy I ultimately gave 3.

I'm sure this was an isolated case (the site to store experience), but I still don't use it anymore... it adds that the site to store workers at our city's nearby wal-mart make you wait forever and are rude.

I just use ship to my house or go directly to the store and that's where I get my good experiences.

I love the Walmart! If things go bad with the order it takes a minute to get things straight but the pricing is worth the risk. Demand is so high on that site you can place an order get a confirmation and days letter another e-mail say they are sorry for not being able to complete the order. I still have love for Walmart because when it is right it is the best. I order on line and have it delivered to the store... this seems to be the best way to get what you want... done right!

For all the bad hype Walmart gets for being a 'big box store' I've never had a problem ordering from them online my stuff always comes on time - sometimes even earlier then the delivery date on the order, it's super easy to return either thru the mail with the return shipping label that's always included or in store. Oh yeah and hands down they have the best prices on just about everything even beating out Amazon- which I love too

Of course, I love walmart, however I ordered my christmas gifts recently (early shopper, I know) and their personalization options are terrible! I ordered 2 personalized piggy banks and the personalization doesn't carry into the cart or print on the receipt so I had no way of knowing that the items were even going to arrive personalized. When I emailed and called to ensure that they would arrive correctly I was told that "our system isn't equipped for that type of personalization unless its jewelry". Never heard of that. Anyways, my complaint is about their personalization system - the products arrived perfect =-)

We normally shop at a local El Paso Walmart. Although the service is usually the pits when you needs help AND the lines are usually a nightmare, they seem to have the best prices all around for the things we buy. This makes Walmart are choice for local shopping.

FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE TRIED WALMART.COM AND IT WAS POSITIVE! When we were at our local Walmart and they didn't have the item that we needed, an employee there recommended Walmart.com. The price was even better than expected and the shipping was free as I recall. The item came fast and ended up at the local store where we were easily able to pick it up. An employee there even helped load it into our vehicle.

I recommend Walmart.com for those that find something on there that they are interested in buying.

This is my opinion based on a recent experience I had with Walmart.com

I have shopped on this site several times without any problems. I have had items shipped to my home and some I have use site to store. The great thing about site to store is that they notify you by email when your item has arrived. Walmart has some good products-some bad. Read customer reviews before buying and this may save you from purchasing an inferior product. The other great thing about Walmart is that if you do receive a product that you dislike for whatever reason, they will pretty much exchange it or refund your money without a big hassle.

Went to buy a circular saw... WalMart... you would think that was the least expensive place to buy such a tool... especially considering that they have everything made offshore. But no --- they were $20.00 more expensive than their nearest competitor! On a simply circular saw -- nothing fancy. WOW! That was a shock!
And they are trying to get into NYC! Ruin the economy here and put all the mom and pop stores that make NYC great out of business! Yikes!
