"I make several online orders a month, from various stores, but Wal-Mart.com is no longer one of them. I have been lured in several times in the past due to their often much lower prices. But saving $10 to even $50 is not worth the headache of dealing with Walmart.com's temperamental shipping department. Below are a few examples of my Walmart.com woes:
-Ordered a pop-up hamper. After the original receive by date, I received bassinet sheets. Pop-up hamper was apparently out of stock when they sold it to me. Had to return them to my local store on my own time and dime and explain multiple times what happened, since my receipt was for a hamper and I was returning sheets.
-Ordered pink sheet set. Received tan sheets with pink sticker put on them. Again, I had to return them at my own expense and explain what had happened since item didn't match my receipt.
-Ordered loft bed (same order as sheets) which I paid to arrive on a particular date. The day before expected delivery, the bed is still two states away with no sign of moving. Customer service puts a reorder in with rush delivery. Received bed 2 days later. (Their customer service is usually really good).
-Ordered photo mug with key chain as a free gift. Mug arrives, but no key chain. Contact customer service. Key chain arrives after the event I needed it for (it was a gift), but is stuck at post office due to insufficient postage. I have to pay the extra postage for my free gift. Contacted customer service and they reimbursed me.
-Ordered a car seat with blue/green print. Receive car seat with animal print. Made 4 phone calls to customer service over 2 days before getting the correct answer of how to resolve this issue. Customer service reps were nice, but the first 3 didn't know what they were talking about! Then I had to print out a label at my own expense, and wait at my house for a delivery service to pick up the wrong car seat and wait additional weeks for the correct one to be sent. Glad I ordered it months before I needed it! They ended up giving me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, but then harassed me for months with threatening emails stating I never returned it, even though I had tracking info and confirmation that they did, and even called them for confirmation several times.
Out of the almost 20 orders I've made with Walmart.com, I've had some sort of hassle like this with 8 of them. I understand mistakes happen from time to time, but this is ridiculous! Especially since they just seem to send you whatever when an item is out of stock, as if they hope you are too stupid to notice! The prices and free shipping are tempting, but not worth it when they fail to deliver what they promise.
I placed an order, saw the money withdrawn from my debit account, then received an email from Walmart that the order was cancelled because they couldn't verify payment. I called Walmart customer service who directed me to my bank or Visa. After calling both of them, they made it clear the issue was with Walmart. After calling them two more times, they confirmed that Walmart may automatically cancel orders that are significantly larger than my previous purchases, which this was. They said I should wait 72 hours and try to re-place the order, but they still said I might face the same security issue. I guess you get what you pay for -- but on second thought, I did pay and I got nothing. Walmart needs to address its security verification process.
Walmart.com is a good place to buy something that may have issues and you may want to make an in-store return. Many companies have such poor quality control coming out of China that you have to buy three of something in order to have a good chance of getting one that is actually first quality. So you order three and return the ones that should never have made it through quality control at your local Walmart.
I like shopping at walmart.com. They have a much larger selection than the actual stores and they will ship to your local Walmart for free. I just bought some exercise equipment from them and the selection and price range was excellent.
I love this website. One of the best places to shop for everyday items and get them cheap and fast. I ordered a Link Figma-Yes, A LINK FIGMA, from Walmart, and it only took 3 Days for it to come. Amazon's packages usually take a bit longer, but hey, it's probably because of different merchants. Anyway, I love this site for shopping and savings, and it's a beautiful place that delivers on making customers happy.
That Walmart website need a upgrade because it is so confusing and nerve racking.
Its alright. Not on the same level as Amazon. I don't like site to store-it sucks. The people there don't like to work and its frustrating waiting to be helped when you get there. Walmart.com has OK selections. Amazon.com surpasses them hands down.
Placed an order and added extra items to get the free shipping. I was charged for shipping and contacted customer service. I told the rep that I'd rather cancel my order if I was paying for shipping. The rep told me that I would get a refund for the shipping charge. I told him I would keep the order based on the refund. The refund never came, so I contacted customer service again. The rep told me that I made z mistake when choosing the shipping method and wasn't entitled to a refund. I explained many times that I would have canceled the order if the first rep had been truthful. Apparently, Walmart cares more about the $2.97 shipping fee than a loyal customer. I've been using the site for a long time, but there are other stores that consider my business as more valuable.
This is a wonderful site. I love going there. Consumer friendly indeed.
I just love this store I only wish that they had better deals when it comes to shipping because they charge almost an extra $1.00 to have each item shipped and that means if you order over 5-50 or more you end up paying almost $5.00-$50.00 dollars for shipping alone unless you go to their on site to closest to you but if you don't have a car or disable it could be such an inconvenience for you so because of this I am compelled to limit my spending just keep in mind that I have about seven grandchildren and aside from the shipping it would help me save a lot more because they really do have great deals until you see what it would cost to ship it to you and if something is wrong with your purchase than you could get caught have to pay even more to return it. Overall, I do like a lot of their merchandise and would buy more often if it was so costly with the shipping and because of this reason I am giving it a 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
I have had great experiences with ordering online with Wal Mart. They have a good selection, especially during Christmas. Quick shipping - everything in great shape. Only problem I would see is even big screen tvs are left on your porch - luckily I live out in the country - probably should have to sign for big items. I hate WalMart stores, but ultimately must shop there for some things.
I love to shop on their website, save me time to drive, looking for parking, & waiting in line. I would say their products are not high quality but it is not bad at all for such a good price. I wish Walmart.com will offer free shipping to home so I don't have to go to the nearest store to pick up in the future.
Hey guys, back around thanksgiving I ordered a Christmas tree set from Walmart. Com. I found out they sent it to my old house. I called them and they said that it the order placer fault if there order didn't show up. So they said they can't resend it or give me a gift card for it. But they can put in for a refund. So I said ok. A week later no refund. So I emailed them. Will after 30 something emails I still haven't gotten my refund. Now they are sending me the same email over and over agin. Saying they don't have a clue about anything. And to send the order number. I sent it 10 times. So please not order from Walmart. Com. They will take your money and run.
Order, submitted and paid for. Said it was at store and I could pick it up, then 2 hours later got test saying the items were unavailable and my order was cancelled. Then got a text stating two of the 7 items were available and got a new order number. It has been one week and looks 6 more days till items arrive at store. Don't know when money will be reimbursed to card. If I had known this would be my experience, I would have never went to their website.

Never ever ever order from ship to home. I checked today for my order for an office chair that I had been waiting 2 weeks for and it says its returned. I frowned and thought: When the hell did I ever return my chair? I thought it must have been an error and I called a representative. They told me that there was a shipping error and that I must have not been home yesterday (was home the ENTIRE day) because that's when it reached my house. After repeated efforts to tell the representative I was home the entire day, which they didn't buy, I was forced to wait for a refund and to order again and wait ANOTHER 2 WEEKS for it. $#*! shipping, $#*! support. I'm ordering to ship to store and hope that works better. Best of luck, and $#*! you Wal-Mart.
I really like the website, easy to navigate, tons of information about the product they're selling. Shipping is very fast, I love it. This is the worst website to shop from specially when its close to holidays or during holidays... the website is not responding and wont let me checkout... for days i have been trying to check out... what a waste of time... would never ever shop here again... the customer service is of no help and even my emails to walmart did not get me anywhere either. They said they employed thousands this holiday but it seems like they have one person employed coz they cant even hire somebody to fix the website. U SUCK WALMART!
