We placed an order for a bed through Walmart.com. They damaged it and had to return the shipment. As we re-ordered the bed, the customer service rep ASSURED me that they were going to compensate us by discounting the item. She continually GAVE ME HER 'WORD' that we would only be charged a lower price. On the credit card statement we were charged a higher price, and when I called to complain and get the money that the rep PROMISED us, they refused to give us the credit and continued to be rude. Moral of the story, we spend hundreds, if not more in Walmart and after this HORRIFIC experience with them, we will NEVER shop in the store or online through them again!

I will use Walmart, com on occasion but it is not even close to the top of my online shopping list. Their website is not easy to use, can be to hard to find the products to use.

Their shopping time is horrendous! In their trying to save money shopping by their truck directly to the store, I have had to wait weeks to get an item, where with Amazon Prime I can get it within a few days direct to home.

Walmart sells at good prices, but not always at good quality. Here is an example. The wife and I were shopping there and I was showing her Hanes Mens Boxer Briefs. I bought a pack, then on the way home we stopped at Kohl's and bought a similar pack from them. Laying them out side to side, she could see the difference in the texture, the size of the opening for the legs and even the difference in the waistband. Saving $2 is not a savings when the product is inferior, is not comfortable and will not last as long.

Walmart could really be competitive, but they need to be willing to spend a little more in order to get the online customer base that Amazon has. The biggest difference is that Walmart is still thinking and acting like a big box store when in actuality, they need to consider their online sales as a separate business. Until they do, they will always have problems with their customer base.

I have purchased a number of large and heavy items from Walmart online. I have purchased several memory foam mattresses and bedframes for our rental properties. I got the best prices online and the quality was good (though one of the foam toppers was quite a bit smaller than the bed mattress, which I did not notice until it was too late to return because I didn't use it for several months). The shipping was free and very quick.

Walmart prices were typically lower than other online offerings, especially with the free shipping. Overall I had a very good experience with Walmart online shopping and only one issue over several purchases.

Great On Line Shopping Experiences at walmart.com. Items are as described. Delivered in a timely basis. Return is easy - as I always choose to bring it back to the store. Shipping charge is minimal.

I had two pregnant daughters and thanks to Wal-Mart was able to find everything they needed and wanted in their nurseries.
The selection was great, the brand names were there so very little running around and why would I when I could get it all there.
I am so happy I have a Wal-Mart where I live and near where I work.

It is well known that if a supplier will not Wal Marts price that they won't carry their product. This creates a circumstance where you buy what they have or plan on more shopping stops. Another pet peeve is filling missing items with whatever is close so they don't have empty spaces. It results in searching for an item that's out of stock.
My biggest criticism is the inconsistent pricing. They were the low price leader but no more. You better know what things cost elsewhere or be ready to deal with price matching which isn't much fun. DVD movies and most batteries for electronics are cheaper elsewhere. I returned a watch cell battery that cost $6.50 at Walmart for one at Menards for $3.25. No price match because they were different brands.

My husband and i ordered two laptops and a ring from Walmart.com. The ring got here the day it was suppose to so no complains there. However it was a not fun when it came to the laptops. I paid for the express shipping and was told that the laptops would be here in 3 days. However the laptops didn't even begin to ship until the day they were scheduled to arrive. When i called to find out if they were going to be here i was told that they didn't know. IT's very irritating to order something from somewhere and they have no idea whats going on with it. Now they did go ahead and refund the shipping cost which was great. Basically im trying to say do not spend your money on the express shipping it seems to not be worth it.
