Went into walmart last night which I usually do not do since I do not like the store. There were no cashiers working only the self serve I DO NOT WORK FOR WALMART, I hate using them since they took jobs away from people. What staff they did have were rude and not helpful, couldn't find a manager

I ordered eyedrops online and had them delivered while I was away. They expire in two months. By the time I got them and wanted to use they were past expiry date. What a cheat and scam.

I ordered a product, two XXL hoodies. First thing to happen delivery wouldn't deliver to my house. Had to drive 45 minutes just to pick up the package. When I get home and open it they sent me an XXL and a small hoodie. When I called the only solution they would give me was they would send me a package ( which I'd have to drive 45 min to get) to ship back the incorrect item and only then would they refund me. No compensation for the fuel lost which cost more then the product itself then at that point. I asked yo speak to someone else and the they refused to pass me along stating that they don't really have a return policy per-say that all they would do is send me a package to return. My husband then spoke on the phone with them and they stated to him they would escalate the call and have someone call back two weeks later still no call. Walmart ironically asked for a review on the item and they refused to post my review because of my complaint of the incorrect sizing.

Sadly this isn't the first time I've received the wrong item from Walmart.ca I ordered my husband a razor which took twice as long to come in as they said it would and received a bent metal stool in a box. My local Walmart was kind enough even though they shouldn't have took the chair and gave me a razor off the shelf.

This is ridiculous how they have no accountability.

A couple of days ago we ordered a grocery delivery service from Walmart and were surprised when we received someone's else order instead. We called Walmart and asked to receive our order. They have denied it and said the only option would be a reimburse/refund. Considering it was the only option offered and it was the first time it happened, we accepted it. Considering we were receiving the reimburse, we reordered the same products which, due to high delivery costs at the time, were only able to be scheduled to delivery three days afterwards (today). So today we received again the wrong order. On both occasions the packages/bags had different name and order number on it, showing clearly those were not our orders. I have called again Walmart and requested a better solution than just getting a reimburse/refund, because I really needed our groceries. The groceries that have arrived on both occasions are way cheaper than what we ordered, and had no relations with the products we ordered. Walmart once again said they could not do anything else. Lesson learned about this is that Walmart has no idea on what they are doing on grocery delivery process and you might receive whatever when you place an order, and they do not really care about it.

I ordered groceries yesterday for delivery between 4 and 5 pm. 6 pm contact customer service, they say en route. 7pm contact customer service, its still at store. 8 pm reschedule for today between 8 and 9 am. No groceries. Contact customer service they say driver canceled? What? Money will be refunded in 3 to 5 days. I have no groceries and no money left to buy more. Call head office they did absolutely nothing but say over and over my refund has been initiated. Money will be back in my account in 5 to 7 days now. So I asked her what am I supposed to eat for 5 to 7 days.

I recently used the self checkout at Walmart in Bradford Ont.
Very pleased with the place to park your cart. Plenty of space for several items
The only thing I was concerned about was there was no one cleaning the checkout machines. Instead of ladies walking around trying to sell me a credit card, they should be doing cleaning.
I suggest you go to a Dollarama store. There's always someone cleaning the self checkout machines as soon as someone finishes using the machine.

Purchased a bike for delivery. They took my money but their carrier doesn't deliver to rural addresses. Now they won't give a refund. No bike, no refund. Customer service just tells me to return the bike I didn't get. They even sent me a request to review the bike I didn't receive!

"The boardwalk Walmart in Waterloo". I was trying to redeem a coupon which came with my purchase in their store. They customer service rep Has no idea what to do even asked other employees. Back and forth spent like an hour to finally got the item. I mean, come on. Shouldn't take less than 5 mins to redeem the coupon? Plus i had a impatient toddler with me. I talked to the manager but the manager seemed didn't want to know what i am talking about. She just keeps asking the rep. Walmart! Please, hire more younger people to work for you. Both of the people i dealt were retired age. ( Didn't communicate well, didn't know the process, didn't listen to customers, no apology.)Well worst experience after being their loyal customer for more than 10 years. March 10,2022 during morning.

Online shopping

I order a blanket for my friends grand daughters bed and the order showed it went threw but i never got a email saying order has bean paid for and confirmed i waited 1 week nothing and then i called walmart customer service the customer service rep was so $#*!ing useless wurse as bag of tittys she wouldnt make any effort what so ever to lift a $#*!ing finger what so ever and she told to call my credit card company for a refund and i did that and told my credit company at canadian tire bank what had happened and the ladie stephanie at my credit card company told me she had the very samething happen to her to and she was really pissed off as well like i was inface i was so pissed off i told the customer service rep at walmart to go back to her own country and there her english really sucked you could barely understand aword she said thats how horrible it was from start to finish

Exchange impossible policy

Today I went to return my broken Nespresso coffee maker for a new one. It was still within the 90 day policy. I had ordered it from Walmart online. Not a vendor of theirs but the store itself during Black Friday week it was shipped later in December and billed at that time. The associate took my order number went to the computer and asked if it was for credit card ####. I said yes and she told me it would be credited to my card. I then said no I want to exchange it. I have over $100 in coffee for this machine at home. She told me it was impossible as the card was already credited. I told her to void the credit and give me the broken machine back. It had a 2 year Warranty and I could take it to Nespresso. Once again a no. I asked to speak with a Manager. She said a manager wouldn't help me. She said all I could do is call Walmart and maybe they could issue a further store credit. I did this as well and was told there was nothing they would do. Not could do but would do. The online associate escalated this twice during the call. So now I have no coffee maker to get fixed (which I bought and they most certainly could have voided the credit and gave it back) and coffee for a coffee maker I no longer have. The only option that was offered was to buy the same coffee maker again at a much higher price. This is not acceptable as far as I am concerned and I think this should have been handled much better with the client in mind. It was their mistake and had I known it would not be exchanged, I would have left and taken it to Nespresso. They need to do better for the customer. I believe they owe me a coffee maker.

The online customer service is useless and is in India... They basically listens to your complaints. Says that they have 'escalated' your request. And nothing happens on the Canadian side... I have talked with Shruti, Prithvi, Moumita and their boss Cesar from... No resolution, just lies. I know Walmart is slightly cheaper but that comes with a cost. I have called 8 times and I have 4 case escalation numbers (220208-003486, 220218-003802 etc.). Will NEVER EVER BUY AGAIN. Just pray I get my money back. Attached is my 'refusal of delivery' notice.

Please find a different place to buy your items from, I put in an order for 3 boxes of cat litter. I got 2 the other was sent to someone else. Called customer service 2 times and still not resolved. Will have to dispute with my credit card company. Terrible customer service. Walmart should take a lesson from Amazon on customer service!

I posted the below review regarding a 3rd party seller on Walmart.ca
This review was rejected citing it could not be approved as the review is "customer service focused". Is customer service not a key component of the purchase process?

I caution you in ordering from this company! I, unfortunately, ordered the wrong size filter. I was directed by the company to arrange for the return of the filters at my own cost, which is fair, to secure a refund. I returned goods and followed up on 3-occasions over 3-weeks, noticing the refund had not been processed. Each time I receive a reply requesting I provide additional time for them to locate the package in the distribution center. Not only am I out of the cost of the filters, but I am also out on the cost of the return shipping costs. I have now filed a claim with my credit card company.

I STILL haven't received my refund when I DID NOT receive an item that I have ordered. Walmart LOST my product and they won't give me my money back. I have spent HOURS on the phone with them and I have gotten from them is redirecting me to the "3rd Party". NO HELP DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART ONLINE.
ALSO I purchased a Eufy vac from them. They gave me a DUD vacuum with a faulty battery. I can't order a battery to replace or NOTHING. $300 down the drain... AGAIN DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WALMART ONLINE! They say WALMART is the seller but then they blame a "3rd Party" and that the "3rd Party" sold it to me. LIES

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered 3 things online on Jan 6th. When they came in I decided to return 2 of the products on Jan 19th. To date FEB 14th I still don't have my 200$ back. I have called at least 5 times and all I keep getting is we are sorry and its been escalated and I should have the $ back in 5 to 10 business days. They will give me no compensation of any kind except we are sorry. I WILL NEVER BUY ONLINE AGAIN & I would suggest everyone be warry or just not chance it.

To save time we order our grocery online and do a curbside pickup. The problem is they always make a mistake on 1 or 2 grocery items; they rush and grab the wrong items. It happens more frequent then expected and it is quite frustrating. The runners have one job to do and they always seem to mess it up. I cannot find a feedback on grocery pickup link on the Canadian website. Very displeased with Walmart and their service. Management should train their staff properly... do your job.

Buyer beware

This review is regarding an unethical practice I experienced with Walmart Canada online.

That practice is to increase the price of online third party purchases by as much as 100%.

In December, 2021 I purchased crayons online at Walmart as a Pickup item (thus no delivery charge) for $9.99. I did not realize at that time it was a third party purchase.

When I picked up the item it was in an Amazon Prime package which surprised me. I checked the cost of the crayons on Amazon... it was $4.88 for the exact same item.

There was more than a 100% markup to purchase the crayons through Walmart online. A terrible practice that should not be allowed. Shocking!

I believe this is an example of scalping in some form... the activity of buying things at the usual price and then selling at higher prices

Knowing this, I would definitely have purchased the crayons through Amazon.

I tried to return the item to Walmart. Apparently it is a non returnable item. Shocking again as the return policy clearly says the item may be returned.

In January I called customer services. I received an apology and an offer to get a $5.00 gift certificate. This is not about the crayons or the $5.00... it is about the practice of selling online items at twice the price they would normally cost. I believe this is so wrong. I was given a reference number and told I would be contacted about my concern. I wasn't.

It is very unlikely that I will purchase any items at Walmart again, and I highly encourage people to be aware of this horrific practice and shop very carefully at Walmart or shop elsewhere.

Nonprofessionalism

I have ordered one item onTuesday Jan 25 and another on Jan 27. After 2 and 4 days of my orders, i received order cancellation (Saturday 29th). No reason is stated. If out of stock, it should be indicated before ordering. You should have a very accurate inventory and populated on the Walmart website. I needed these items badly and after 4 days, I expected to receive the shipment not the order cancellation of both orders.
Moreover, the email states no cancellation fees are applied. I wonder you cancel the order and you think of applying charges. Even if Walmart doesn't, the statement is not acceptable. I don't recommend Walmart for online shopping. It is not the first time and I am fed up with non-professional approaches from Walmart.
For transparency. The order number, ordered Jan 25, is ************** and the oder number, ordered on Jan 27, is **************. A screenshot is privately attached.
