You go thru Vivid Seats as a "broker" but you still have to deal with the sellers and provide them your personal info. No refunds or tickets if you refuse to give out your personal info to a third party. Stay away. They don't tell you this ahead of time, the fine print just let's you know you're on your own to get your tickets after they get your money.
I was trying to buy tickets to a concert on vivid seat's website and my promotional 10% discount showed up until checkout. I contacted rep Mark from vivid seats through live chat and he then made the purchase for me over the phone. It was a very quick, helpful and thorough process.
So basically they emerged on Google as I looked for GnR tickets on July 18th. First off they are not seller- they are so called reseller who can do anything: sell you fake tickets in fake sections at fake and often inflated prices. I wonder if it's a cartel with ticketing sites because I found it later that the tickets officially were on sale at a later date from Ticketmaster and Live Nation etc.
They will not own anything be it prices or the section of seats so avoid them at all costs. This business should not be operating. Often you will click their link of a big artist and after purchase they will tell you that it is some unknown artist. This site must be put on fraud alert- there's plenty of bad rep online for authorities to take action and I cannot understand what's keeping them from protecting unsuspecting and unassuming customers.
Note that the attached review is totally impartial and comprehensive enough to be utilized for any legal action. I am taking up the matter with my bank and hopefully they will decide in my favor or else I will contact CFPB. They will have to return my money ultimately like last time. That's what credit cards are meant for- if you are conned that's the safety net.
