I ordered two tickets from Vivid Seats and was charged $200 for them. When I got them they said $35 each on the ticket and had come from smithstix so I called Smith's Tix to confirm the price and sure enough they should have only been around $35 each. I understand and markup but that's crossing a line. Not only that there was general admission 1 and 2 and my tickets did not specify. Attempted to contact Vivid Seats both through email, phone, and live chat to no avail. The automated system hung up on me no matter which options I selected. I submitted for live chat waited for a while and then was told an error occurred. I have had yet to hear back via email. I will never again by tickets from here it was a foolish impulse decision as a gift and I should have done my shopping around. Smithstix was able to help me with the admission questions and apologized but I was charged so much even though it was not their fault because apparently scalping is not illegal there. There you have it. If you have an excessive amount of time and money and don't care what you waste them on use Vivid Seats otherwise find tickets somewhere else. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought them.

This service is a scam. They tell you the tickets will be available in time for the event. That means if the event starts at 7:00, they have up until 6:59 to email you your tickets. I just lost over $800 for 4 tickets that were supposed to be delivered today (day before the concert). The venue is 2 hours away from where I live and they're now telling me the tickets wont be delivered until tomorrow!

Do not use this ticket service. Their supposed 100% guarantee is a straight up lie. I just got cheated out of $455 for two tickets to U2 at the Rose Bowl. Someone else went in to the venue 30 min before me with my tickets. I was denied entry. Vivid will not refund me my money. They told me the seller provided legitimate proof that the tickets were not double sold. What irony. Vivid should have contacted the venue. (Ironically vivid told me immediately after I got denied access that they can check with the venue. Never mentioned they would check with the seller and solely rely on the seller. Watch out. You will get robbed.

I purchased tickets believing that this was the primary ticket seller for the concert. In NY, there must be a clear disclaimer and agreement, according to the NY State Attorney General's office. There were not. I contacted them to ask why, when I paid over $400 for 2 tickets, each ticket was marked $99.50. The rep said absolutely no refunds, but a manager would call me. No call. I was offered a transcript of the chat, which I wanted to forward to the attorney general, but every time I put my email address in, it claimed it was invalid! It was the same email they'd emailed me at and that the rep used to look up my order. So no paper trail. Do not trust this company for anything at any time. They have totally spoiled what would have been a dream concert for me. They ripped me off, plain and simple.

Scam operation

Son purchased a ticket for Chance The Rapper. The site defaulted to six tickets. I IMMEDIATELY called the company to cancel the order. Too bad They refused to cancel the order under any circumstance. They suggested that he try to resell them. This was NOT helpful. Stick to Ticketmaster. This is a sham operation.

The worst

The worst. We bought GA tickets to see Tom Petty at Red Rocks. It is day of show and we still haven't received delivery instructions and were told we wouldn't get them until maybe 1-2 hours prior to the event. For a GA seat, "in time for the event" does NOT mean 1-2 hours prior. We want to get in line to get the best seat possible and we don't even have our tickets. We paid good money, back in December, for this show and now were planning on getting in line very early. This is not the experience we paid for and they refuse to give us a refund. Total bull$#*!. Do NOT purchase through these guys. Their customer service agent was awful. And apparently she was the supervisor so I couldn't even speak to anyone else.

This is the worst company we have ever dealt with. They canceled our order two different times even though we filled out the credit card information they requested and sent scans of our credit card and a passport. The rep told us we can NEVER purchase anything from them EVER. Which was a decision someone made there. "WHY" we asked and we were told for security reasons he couldn't tell us. They did nothing to try and help us and treated us like we are criminals. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I spoke with a women the first time and she blew me off so fast and never gave a second to help. The last rep I spoke with decided that we are not worthy customers nor do they want us as one. This is an unbelievably rude company with NO service to potential customers. We have perfect credit and order many many things online all the time with absolutely none of this treatment what so ever. We have never been treated like this ever.

Then I try and start a chat with this horrible company online hoping I can reach a reasonably sane representative. NOPE nothing there either. Completely ignored. What a sorry place you all work for. Unreasonable and completely appalling. Don't use this company, it will wreck your day and you will end up with nothing but frustrations and needing to write a bad review like I am now. All total garbage this company. I can't say enough how horrible this place is. IT NEEDS TO BE A ZERO STAR RATING! ZERO FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY! What is up with this weird company? Too bad for me that I didn't read all the other horrible reviews that have been written first. Lesson learned. Hope others think to read mine and move to another outlet.

After getting tickets yesterday for a different price that a paid for, Vivid Seat customer services called me today trying to work something out and explaining me that there are a second party company and that the reason I got ticket for the price I did and they offer to return $66.18 for the inconvenience and of course change my review.

Scalpers platform

It's a platform for scalpers. If you wish to be ripped off, then do buy your tickets here. They put in the fine print that they are not responsible, they're only a "platform" for sellers. Easy out from doing and condoning illegal business. Fooled me once, learned my lesson!

Don't purchase from them! I just got lied to about 2 tickets I purchased by the representative. I was told I would be in the visitors side, seats are rather on the Home side. I tried contacting them to get my seats switched. I was told "there was a confusion in the conversation (after listening to the audio) that I could be offered a promotion for my next purchase but my seats would not be changed. After being lied to by reprssentive and then being contacted by the supervisor who informed me he listen to the audio and admitted to hearing the confusion but was told "it was hard for them to give me a refund or change my seats so they would not" I was also lied to about not having another supervisor above the one I was contacted by, they will not allow me to talk to any one else stating "he was the highest supervisor" DO NOT PURCHASE!

Bought two tickets for a May Eric Church concert in March. After I bought and paid for them, I was notified I would get the tickets the day before the concert. What? I called and they said Eric Church holds his tickets. I should have been notified BEFORE I bought them! Then, the day before the concert they emailed and said we would get them the day OF the concert. Ridiculous! I am on a tractor that day planting soybeans and have a high school baseball game to go to before I go to the concert. The tickets required hard copy print. Vivid Seats blamed everyone but themselves. My point is that consumer should be clearly informed BEFORE you take their money on this system. They have no idea what I had to do to get those tickets in my hand in the 11th hour. NEVER BUY FROM VIVID SEATS AGAIN.

I sold my ticket, they cancelled because it was not hard ticket now they want over $500 for their administration fee due to cancellation. A rip off company. You just lost one and many buyer and seller. Good luck with your ripoff model.

I went online to buy seats to the NKOTB & BOYS TO MEN concert. I thought I was getting my tickets from a ticket master-like sight. I chose 6 tickets that were $99.00 Each! It DID NOT say anything about what the extra fees were. I pushed order and my total comes up as $1282. 68! That is $213.78 PER TICKET! When I got the email, it said the tickets were $168 EACH and the service charge was $274.68! What kind of business doesn't give you the total BEFORE you press order? I have tried to contact Vivid seats but no one has returned my calls! I buy tickets for every kind of performance all the time! This is the first time I have been ripped off by a company! The tickets were emailed to me and have some other persons name on them, so I don't know if they will even work when I get to the show! NEVER will I be tricked again by such a shoddy organization that has no customer service! They need to be put out of business!

I had an extremely unpleasant experience using VividSeats. Around Christmastime, I ordered two tickets for a play in January for me and my mother to attend. I never received the tickets via email by the time I was told I would, so I had to call VividSeats and speak with an associate the day before the play. The man told me that the seller probably would not have the tickets by the end of the day, so he recommended that I cancel my order. I told him that I wanted to wait until later that day just in case. When I called back later that day to check on the status of the order, the seller still did not have the tickets, so the same man that I spoke to earlier cancelled my ordered for me. He confirmed that my order was cancelled and that I would be refunded within the next few days. Three weeks passed and I never got my refund. I paid $180.

I emailed the service team about my issue, and the customer support associate responded saying that I did not get reimbursed because my order was never cancelled because they never received a call back from me when I did, in fact, call back to cancel it. I felt disrespected as a customer when they told me that I did not call back. They were not accommodating or considerate to me as a paying customer who did not receive quality, dependable service. They essentially blamed me for the issue. They ultimately cancelled my order and promised a reimbursement in the next few days after I corrected their mistake. I did not appreciate their unprofessional and disrespectful response when I requested help with the issue. I will never use VividSeats again and will warn my friends who buy concert tickets often.

First of all, all those 5 stars reviews calling out like Mike or Becky was helpful - obvious fake and paid marketing, don't believe a world.

Vivid seats offer tickets from random resellers who price them as they wish.
They make it look like a legit range - depending on the section and a row the prices vary.
In fact they are mostly general admission.
I was given a section, row and a seat number. Believing I'm buying a valid, close to the stage seat for $192, in fact I was given a general admission - the only available type of ticket for the event. Worth $69.
Vivid Seats cerated vague and misleading shopping experience, and don't care about customers being fooled.
Honest company takes responsibility for their actions and value customers experience.
Vivid seats doesn't. They allow resellers crate fake sections, rows and seats and call it as "inventory purposes". When you complain, they say "sorry, but we don't care you paid triple". There was a GA written along seats, rows and section numbers, admit I didn't notice it. Not because I'm an idiot, it was because I've been mislead by section/row/seat numbers in my ticket, and as I don't buy tickets often and didn't catch what GA stands for (English is my second language).
I will never buy a ticket on this site again and discourage everybody to do so.

I review EVERYTHING, but last minute trip to Vegas and swamped at work meant I pressed the BUY key without reading the Terms and Conditions. 100% mark up on Michael Jackson One tickets! Almost $1,000 for two seats. My credit card company even called to ask if it was a legitimate purchase as they receive a lot of complaints. I wish I had taken the hint and said, "No!" AND the tickets do not even have my name on them, so if, like others, I get to the venue and have issues, I am out a grand for nothing! I remember back in the 90's when the internet started selling tickets and hearing of people getting ones with someone else's name because they were just photocopied off... well, these look pretty sketchy. No response from Customer Service and ask a question just posts it on this page, doesn't even asks the company directly. It takes a lot to scam me and, yet, here I am!

I called in after having attempted to buy tickets for 30 minutes through 3 different platforms with no avail. Calling in was easy as I was connected to someone quick. They were very clear and efficient and ultimately helpful. Unfortunately the original online delay resulted in us missing out on replica jerseys at the Jays game, we got there 5 minutes after they gave out the last one.
