The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by numerous customer complaints regarding service reliability and transparency. Many users report frustrations with receiving incorrect tickets, unexpected charges, and inadequate customer support, often describing the service as untrustworthy and dismissive. While some customers have noted positive interactions with individual representatives, these instances are overshadowed by a pervasive sentiment of dissatisfaction and confusion throughout the purchasing process. The consistent issues with order confirmation and refund policies highlight a need for major improvements in customer service practices to enhance trust and user experience.

Responsive customer service - managed to get through via instant messaging and over the phone very quickly. They were proactive in following up.
Just a word of warning to be aware of the service/delivery fees - unfortunately you have to register and enter your billing address before they show you the total including all fees. Be careful you know what you will be charged before you confirm payment!
My son purchased tickets for a concert through vivid seats, when he received the tickets it was obvious they were NOT legitimate tickets. I called customer service, Quitta, the rep I spoke with was very kind and professional and only doing her job but there is no way these were legitimate tickets. I will never use Vivid Seats again!
Purchased tickets to a concert scheduled for June 3 months before it started. They have moved the delivery date twice (further back every time) to the day before the concert. After looking at the terms of sale, they don't even guarantee I get the seats I paid for, they guarantee you'll get "comparable" seats, so, legally, they could give me the worst seats in the venue and call them "comparable." According to their terms, they could email the tickets to me 1 minute before the concert is scheduled to start, and it would fall within their "guarantee." I have never had an experience like this buying tickets, and I have felt swindled every step of the way.
I was purchasing tickets and didn't hit the drop down menu and instead of buying 2 tickets I bought 6 tickets. To add insult to injury the tickets were $224 a piece. It was an honest mistake and I called the right up to tell them what happened. They said we cannot help you except to show you how to put your tickets back up for sale. Well, come to find out I could buy those $224 tickets from another vendor for $39.99 a piece. There should be a 24 hour return policy, because it was an honest mistake that anyone could make. So instead of being into 2 tickets for $140, I have 6 tickets for $1688. There is zero chance that I will get anywhere near what I paid, to me there has to be some limit over and above the face value. This is like legal scalping.
We chose to purchase higher priced tickets for the Colorado Rockies game on July 3 because of the postgame fireworks show rather than the much cheaper tickets on July 5 for family dinner night. When I printed the tickets, it said *view of fireworks obstructed* on the bottom of the ticket. REALLY? I contacted Vivid Seats and they said that the seller is not required to disclose that information and as long as there is no obstruction of the game, the transaction valid and nothing can be done. The "Live Chat" person was extremely rude and basically told me it was my problem, not hers.
Less than 24 hours after posting my negative review about my purchase from Vivid I received a phone call from a customer service manager. I did not expect the call and was surprised! The manager had taken the time to review my complaint and understood my issue with the upgraded seats. The manager patiently listened to me and we discussed my complaint. The manager then offered me FULL reimbursement for the upgraded seats I did not use! I am a very satisfied customer! I added Vivid back to my bookmarks and will use them again for my future ticket purchases. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Vivid for all ticketing purchases - they care about their customers! Thank you Vivid! Im a customer for life!
Vivid Seats cannot guarantee your tickets. They never see the tickets. They do not ship them. They don't even require the seller/shipper to be able to reissue, reprint or send via email for home printing. What's worse is after all of that, they take your money and don't require the shipping company to acquire a signature upon delivery.
*UPDATE~ it took a lot of arguing and poor reviews but they did make it right. We will be going to the event.
We ordered tickets to see a show this Sunday. My wife called today to see why they had not arrived. She was told they were delivered on the sixth and that she needed to call with in 48 hours or you company couldn't help us. She was treated very poorly by Jessie as I was by John customer service managers. Long story short UPS says they were delivered so there is nothing you can do. After several calls We were offer enough to cover half of what it would cost to replace the tickets. After asking Heather (who was helpful) what she would do if she ordered a $300 product online and it never showed up, she responded that the shipper choose the options for shipping. I then asked her why we couldn't contact the venue and tell them the tickets were missing and have them issue "will call". She said they don't know the information on the tickets. I then realized that they took our money to have someone else ship me tickets and not only do you not require a true signature they don't even require a picture or scan of those tickets. I own a side business where I sell live animals that ship all over the country. I use UPS as Well as FedEx. I know for a fact that you can chose an option that truly requires a signature to be delivered. I believe I pay $2 more to make it a requirement. We are dealing with a ton right now, this show was to take my wife's mind of the fact she has to deal with a surgery for cancer Tuesday. Figuring when our tickets were arriving was not on our priority list. Bottom line being told it's our fault that we didn't contact you with in 48 hours of a delivery that never happened is not excusable. They should require a true signature if they are not delivering the tickets. The show a 100% guarantee... that's bull, they wanted us to pay an additional $150 to see the show we already lost $300+ to see. Now we're out $300 and no one at Vivid could care less
Update: I changed my review to 3 stars as they are getting us to the venue tomorrow. I am refusing to give them 5 as we fought with their customer service for most of our Friday night with no result... it took bad reviews to have them live up to their 100% guarantee
Warning Warning to the Public
Just ordered 4 tickets to a show in late July. Keith Urban. Paid with cash thru PayPal and got an immediate confirmation. Two days later I get a cancellation email from this sorry company vivid tickets. I wrote a bad review from a previous experience about a year ago.
This company black balled me and wont let me make reservations anymore because of the review? I also took the review down last year at this company request when they called and asked me to. It wasn't even that bad of a review. Evidently they keep a nice and naughty list. Know that when you write a negative online reviews there are repercussions and you can be discriminated against, or better yet "bullied" for sharing your story.

Bought tickets for a concert in Canada, NOWHERE was it stated that the price was actually in American dollars. Nasty surprise when I got the bill, expecting to have paid $339 but was charged $471.
Sold them tickets 8 days before the schedule game. The day after the even they said there was a problem with the tickets. I wasn't suppose to scan and send them my hard copy tickets? Then why asked me for SCANS in the first place? And why not let me know there was a problem the moment I sent them to you. You can CLEARLY see they are a scan of a real ticket? If there scan quality was in question anyone with a smart phone can check and see if the barcode is scanable. No, instead they wait until after the game and then recall their money and then charge my CC 200% as a penalty! I did not intentionally try to deceive them, if they would have said anything in the days leading up to the game we could have worked something else out (with an email I can forward tickets from my MLB account). Seems like they rather get their money back and in addition make 200% as a penalty, what incentive do they have to even look at the scans they requested?
They will mislead you all over the place. They will send emails offering discounts that they won't honor. Just another very shady company
Here is an update to my earlier review, I did receive an e-mail saying my C. C. was credited for the ammount owed, I will check in the am. Here is what I did, filed complaint with VIVIDSEATS, filed complaint with BBB, Filed complaint with Ohio Attorney General, Filed Fraud Charges with my C. C. company, filed complaint with MLB & Cleveland Indians. We all must file with BBB and states attorney general and place fraud charges on them with your C. C. company, that is the only way you will get your $$$ back. This is probably the most unethical company I have ever dealt with.
After talking with Quita a customer NO service supervisor we discovered why we never received the two parking passes we purchased. We made a mistake on the email address creating the account, therefore we did not receive the parking passes we ordered and paid for through email. Quita actually discovered our mistake and knew we never received the passes and then proceeded to tell me their policy is to NOT refund our money. She did however offer me a 10% diso$#*! on a future purchase NOT to exceed $25... The parking passes we bought totaled over $102. Unbelievable customer NO service... Make sure you don't make an honest mistake, they don't offer any grace for less then perfection!
I purchased tickets thru Vivid Seats and have been for weeks trying to communicate with someone. When I go to "Live Chat", I get this stupid canned response no matter what time of day I get on there:
Vivid Seats 7:50 AM
"We apologize, but we are experiencing a high volume of chats at this time. If you would like to leave a message for our team, please enter "message" and our system will help you send a priority message to our team. Otherwise, enter "continue" to continue holding and a member of our staff will be with you as soon as possible."
Then nothing happens. PayPal needs to disassociate themselves from this joke of a company. Never again will I use them!
Read all the one star reviews. They are telling you truth. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. Please don't. I am shocked. I lost words. The website shows $78. At the end, I was charged $100 per ticket. When I printed them out. The original face value was $64. OMG. WTF. I am taking tylenol.
Please dont use this company. I bought a Eticket from them. In the email they promote there mobile app in tge same email ot shows eticket tips. It tell you that your mobile ticket can not be printed. Well when i got to the venue thry told me they dont take 3rd party Mobil ticket. So I bought a ticket with them to enter the event. To then call the company telling them what happend. The agent told me it was all my fault that E ticket ment email ticket and i should of printed it out. I will never use this company just off the customer service. This company Prides themselves on customer service when their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.
Michael White was AWESOME! This was my very first time using vivid seats and I would definitely use it again. I just called Michael walked me through every step it was quick and not confusing at all! Thank you Michael
Bought two 'One OK Rock' concert tickets, paid US$231 each plus $140 admin fees and shipping. Got the tickets next day and found out they were not VIP tickets! It's only a general admission ticket costs $27.5 each. Totally ripped off! Never ever buy any tickets from Vividseats! THEFT!
Bought tickets snd paid. Never got them. Vivid said not there fault. I won't use again. Ripped off I bought expensive Bosto Yankee tickets. Waisted evening waiting for them to show up
Answer: They are a site just to help scalpers. Don't trust their tickets!
Answer: That is a good concern because I never did and they won't give me my money back either
