They lie. Almost 2 months and no email or certificate. Was planning to retire in June. Can't now. Suck

Over 6 months and nothing. Refuse to refund. Customer Service is a hang up! Its a SCAM!

Great and easy processing. I received my order within a week of placing it. The price was inexpensive and convenient. I will definitely utilize the service again..

They initially required more information from me, then told me I did not have access to my mother's birth certificate. They cancelled my order, but never refunded me. I sent them and email requesting a refund, and was ignored. If you try and call them you have to wait on hold for at least 20 minutes due to "high call volume". They make it sound like they are easily accessible, but do not respond.

Ordered death certificate in mid-March. Paid for it. This is June 3rd. Nothing! I've sent a zillion emails. No reply. Scammy outfit. Do not use this organization for anything!

Folks we need to do a class action law suit. These people are crooks.
They charged my credit card twice. Then they said they credited my account back. They charged me extra for fast UPS service. That has been 3 weeks ago. Nothing have i received. They still owe me since I received nothing. I have to go to Vital Statistics to get death certificate. It is false advertising. I am talking to Attorney regarding them plus Attorney Generals Office. Save all you emails from them.

Call your bank.This is for those who purchased any records from vitalchek, call your bank and ask for a refund to your account. Kill 2 birds with one stone. If you deal w someone from this company and it takes 9 months. Call your bank why wait. Your bank will definitely get you your money back. I've been trying to reach someone to purchase My BC, and they wanna charge Me 60.00 for My own BC. That's ridiculous, up surd.

When I ordered a birth certificate from them, they didn't tell me before I paid that it would be a 20-25 business day turnaround. At day 30, I contacted them, waited on hold for 30 minutes, and was told it would take another 2 months! I asked them to refund my order, they asked for all the info I already gave them on the order and said they couldn't guarantee that they would cancel it. I did a chargeback on my credit card. Total scam company.

Vitalchek is a pathetic, scammer company. I put an order in for an old NY marriage certificate on 11-30-22, and was told 15 to 90 days. Then they updated my order to up to 100 days. Now without calling or emailing me, they've increased it to up to 150 days.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO REPORT THEM. My records are coming from NY. I filed a complaint with the NY State Attorneys office on their unethical and unprofessional behavior. Their false info has caused me a hardship and financial loss. There not even a one star, there a big zero

They wait till 5 days before my order is supposed to arrive to send me an email saying my order is delayed. I was depending on this. Been waiting over 3 months for this. I can't get a copy of my license without my birth certificate... I have used this company a few times but this is the LAST time.

I ordered a certified copy of my marriage license on 1/26/23. Processing 5 to 8 business days. Received email on 2/3/23 stating shipping delay. Emailed for update on 2/6/23 they replied needed info for order. I submitted the requested information and to date I've not received an updated response. Order still shows processing. You pay for a service, pay for the certificate and 20.00 for air mail and I'm still waiting. It's shameful to say the least and each state should reconsider using them. I've spent almost $60.00 just to wait.

Ordered long form birth certificate July 7th order was accepted and said 90-100 business days to receive. Ok fine I understand. 7 months later after calling and emailing with no replies or any type of communication at all I finally received my certificate, but it's so dark you can't even read most of it! I have until July this year to turn this into immigration for my husband or we have to start everything all over again! Such waste of time and money don't use this service!

I logged onto VitalChek to get a copy of my birth certificate. I paid and waited. It tool SIX months almost to the day. Every time I called to ask for an update there was an excuse about a backlog.
Just be aware. SIX months.

I called the town in NY state where I was born and the clerk told me she would send me a notarized copy of my birth certificate in 5-7 days. One week later I had a copy from NY state.

Stop don't use vital check!
Vital check is terrible to say the least.I ordered a birth certificate in Oct 2022 and it's now Feb 2023 and still nothing. You are charged right away and there is no way to cancel your order. Customer service is not worth the time or energy it takes to call, text or whatever means they offer. Went to my local office and got my certificate in less than 5 min. I needed this birth certificate to get my child on health insurance and opted to get the faster shipping option, $50 order and still not here. What a waste of time and money.

I would give a zero if possible. Vitalchek was useless. Charged me their fee for nothing! They sent back emails saying they needed new documentation due to me ordering my birth certificate in a different name. They actually said my notarized signature didn't match. They expected me to get my maiden name that's on my birth certificate notarized. All my ID is in my married name and has been for years! How is this even logical?They would not answer my question about how to get that done. They just keep sending back a message stating I did it wrong. Do not use this company!

Their a rip-off. Just go to the county office and save time and money. Wanted me to get it notarized again because the stamp wasn't done too their liking. Didn't get the document and they took the money.

Vanessa on customer service chat, literally hung up on me when I questioned why they wouldn't accept the Certified copy of my marriage license given to me by the County Clerk of El Paso County in Texas. I spent 30 minutes waiting to 'chat' with her, as well as 1 hour, 10 minutes twice when I tried to call customer service on two different days at two different times of the day!
My suggestion is DO NOT deal with VitalChek! They charge you up front, and do not refund your $$ no matter how bad a job they do!
