My experience was excellent. Applied for a copy of my Birth Certificate form a county website but somehow got transferred to the state records website and they linked me to Vitalchek.

After the first hiccup, asking me for another copy of my ID, I started reading the reviews and worrying if I'd ever get what I asked for and paid for. I figured if the state trusts them to do this, I'll just go with it.

I uploaded a picture of my ID and within 2 days I had the copies in my hand. I couldn't ask for better service!

No issues ordering what I needed on the site, and received it in a timely matter. Will use it again in the future if needed. I hope this was helpful

It was quick and easy great service. I recommend it to everyone. My document got to be quicker than I expected.

I'm not sure why others have not rated VoitalChek with 5 stars. I have used this service multiple times and never had any problems.

After being asked 3/4 times when my tentative date my record will be released or any info to be updated, he shoots me with this passive aggressive emails where he explains how to count to me. I told him in previous emails I excluded weekends and the date I have was the 20th. Then I asked him what date he had. He ignored answering that question. Finally I got this rude email back from him. To be fair he's always been rude, so he gets points on consistency but this is the type of customer care you will get when you inquire about your records.

I regret ever using this SCAM company. I have sent countless emails, I've been calling over and over with 1hr wait times to speak to an agent that always sounds new and ill trained. All my other documents from other states have come in, but vital records was suggested as the method to order you birth certificate on the Virginia website so that is precisely what I did!

Been waiting on my birth certificate because I need a current one (mine is too old for the apostille stamp) and they have yet to respond to any emails or take any of my concerns seriously. Expect to wait 1 hour on hold for an agent to tell you to wait another week or two. When you know you need this important document to get stamped in order to get your visa before your flight! This company can destroy my whole trip, flight, and visa status and THEY DO NOT CARE! How hard is it to order a copy of my birth certificate? Seriously! Worst company ever. Avoid! At this rate it looks like I'm going to have to fly to Virginia and claim my documents myself. Do not trust them and contact your bank since fat chance of them refunding you.

I ordered my birth certificate in January. JANUARY! No email confirmation or order number. Last month I placed another order. I received a reply (your response time for help is unacceptable) that the first order from July was still in the works and they would cancel the 2nd order. I received a shipping email with order number and tracked it with USPS to arrive today (Sunday). It was updated that the address on the label was ineligible and VitalChek requested to be returned. WHAT THE HECK? I received an email that if I don't get it within a few day I had to email someone else *******@health.ny.gov. Why? I asked for a Manager name and phone number to file a formal complaint. Got no response. Hire more people, respond to people problems quicker. WORST COMPANY EVER

I should've known better!

This is my second time ordering from vitalchek.com and it's my last time. Yeah, I should've learned from my first experience a few years ago with them.

I ordered EXPRESS the first time and it took forever to come. Now this time it's the same thing. THERE IS NOTHING EXPRESS ABOUT THIS COMPANY - accept the price!

Please! Please! Please NEVER order express from vitalchek.com! If you're going to use them, just order everything the "regular" way.

This place will not get the chance to burn me again!

User friendly web site and quick delivery without a huge shipping fee. Will order from this site again.

I requested my certificate 7/6 and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in a little over three weeks. I needed it to travel and with the site explanation was holding my breath that it would arrive in time. "Proceesing plus three-four weeks for it to get mailed."

I ordered a birth certificate for my daughter in March and never received it. Called them back in June and was told that they would check. Called back again in July and 3 business days later they claimed that it was mailed in March. I advised that I never received it and they said that since I chose regular mail that I would have to order a new one so I feel I got ripped off. I will never use this company again.

I ordered a Birth Certificate and received a Certificate of Live Birth which is incorrect. When I explained the difference to the customer service people they refered me to call the town and the town said that they only print the Certificate of Live Birth. If that was a selection I made I would accept this as my mistake but I ordered the correct document and none of them are helping with a suitable resolution. I just want what I paid for; 2 birth certificates.

I recently lost my husband and needed a copy of my marriage license I spent $100 through this company and got a non legible copy of this license no one will accept it they refuse to give me a refund and will not get me a legible copy do not use this company for anything they are crooks!

These people are nothing but a scam. Ordered birth certificate in March just came today 4 months later. Cost of $35 well since I ordered my own for $2 senior discount from state of Michigan. Got it in a month.
Stay away from these crooks.

I needed a certified copy of my birth certificate ASAP to obtain a new driver's license after my wallet had been stolen. I received my certified birth certificate within 4 days of ordering online.

Cost me $53 to order a copy of my son's birth certificate in October of 2022. They said three months. It's been 8 months and still haven't received a copy. I've reached out to them and they are of no help.

Ordered two birth certificates from two different states for two different people. They apparently are not sophisticated enough to keep the two requests separate. They are asking for documentation already supplied and in one case suggesting I will not receive the document but they are going to bill me anyway... and I've already received that document. Bunch of bozos... They should not have anything to do with vital documents.
