The website showed 25% off and Buy one get one 50% off. When I tried to order, the 25% off wasn't showing so I called
Customer service. They told me it was a mistake and referred me to the footer of the website which says, "Not responsible for typographical errors or misprints. Product availability, pricing, and promotions are subject to change without notice."
After asking to speak to a supervisor I was again told the same thing. Only after asking for something in exchange for my wasted time was I offered a 5% off coupon code which wouldn't work on the product I wanted to order because it was a BOGO 50% off. That is whole reason I called customer service in the first place! The supervisor was fairly polite but she was unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation which was caused by their mistake. However, she was sure to inform me while we were on the phone that their mistake was fixed and the website no longer showed 25% off.
This is not the first time I've had issues with Vitacost. In the past they had sales that were expired still showing on their homepage and refused to honor them. I like Vitacost's products, but I will be looking for a more professional company to order
From in the future, and one with better customer service.

Never recomend or buy again.
One item became out of stock in my order, I ask for cancel or change the item. One day after (today) my order was shipped, if I want the product I will have to make other order and pay other ship tax!
My order was shipped one DAY after I ask for canceling. And Vitacost anwser me:" I am so sorry! Your order already shipped, is too later!"
Now I know how serious is the user support of Vitacost!
They got less choice than other sites and more expensive international shipping but their own brand has some great products and great prices... also some other brands they hold have good prices. Bottom line keep comparing but they are okay!
I've been purchasing vitamins, herbal tea, honey and beauty products from Vitacost for years and have found the service to be consistently excellent. The only complaint I have is about me (which is why I gave the site 5 stars!) You get free shipping with a $49 purchase, so sometimes I buy products I don't need or that disagree with my tummy. Vitacost will refund your money if the product is returned within 30 days (even after being used) but sometimes the return shipping cost is as much as the product. So I need to just order what I know works and pay the $4.99 shipping cost! (bangs head) The prices are also very competitive and often half the price for the same product sold in a local health food store.
Great prices and fast shipping! Never had to use customer service because my orders have always been correct so I can't comment about that.
Nothing but great things to say about this site. I've been a customer for around 2 years now and have ordered and received a variety of health and beauty products and even harnesses and other things for my dog. The selection is nothing short of fantastic. Shipping is lightning fast for me, and customer service is fantastic. Returns are handled promptly and you deal with actual people instead of bots for the returns. I've always gotten the sense Vitacost values my business, and I'll definitely continue to shop with them.

I recently tried buying supplements from this website but could NEVER get the order to go through. I tried several times and I don't like having to enter my credit card info over and over on a website. I also tried using Paypal to pay and that didn't work either. I won't ever use Vitacost.com or recommend them to anyone.

My orders usually ship quickly and arrive at my door in a timely manner. I've recommended this website to family and friends and no one has ever complained about their experiences. This is the main site that I use for ordering supplements, body and hair products etc. Everything is up front, delivery has always been easy and I receive my order quick. Customer service has always been good as well. Their pricing is competitive.
Order hemme iron (only one my stomach can tolerate) from here and usually receive in about a week or less -- great prices -- check retailmenot for coupon codes and coupon cactus for cash back.
I buy most of out vitamins, health products and my favorite brand of Stevia through Vitacost. I have been using them for 2 or 3 years now and have never had a problem. Shipping time is reasonable. I can't comment on their customer service because I have never had to use it. Prices are usually either the lowest and close to the lowest. Shipping is a flat 4.99 and its free if your order is over $49.00. Love this place.
Have been ordering from Vitacost.com for about five years. What I can't usually get from SwansonVitamins.com, I can get from them, like Chem Defense. One time Vitacost did not have the Chem Defense available, but they sent the rest of the order, and they ordered the Chem Defense themselves and sent it to me when they received it, they then sent it to me at no additional charge!
I order from this site about 4 times a year because i workout about 4 times a week. They have good prices and great shipping and better customer services. I have and will continue to recommend this site to anyone.

While swansonsvitamins.com is my primary source for my vitamins etc. because of the low price point, VITACOST is my backup and a close second. They have EVERYTHING and... I ordered from them this past tuesday and recieved my order the NEXT DAY! I couldn't believe it. I chose standard shipping, nothing special, and had my order the next day. So, NICE WORK Vitacost.
I have ordered from Vitacost.com many times. I just received an order on Friday of last week. I ordered at the beginning of the week and received it on Friday, so shipping was fast. I have only had one problem about six years ago. They sent an order and then I received another one. They had charged my credit card twice. It could have been my fault, I may have clicked on the order link twice. Anyway, they paid for return shipping and credited my card for the duplicate order. I was very satisfied. I will continue to order from them in the future.
I have been a customer of Vitacost for almost 5 years. The prices are EXCELLENT for natural items, including food products. I have had a few small issues and find the customer service friendly and responsive. Shipping is always fast, even the free shipping you get when you spend $50! I could go on, but you should try them yourselves!
