The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I should have known better! When your time is running out for those last 2 seats! That they even don't show you on the plan. Huge hidden fees.
I have canceled the purchase with the card.
Bought three tickets to soccer game in Barcelona through Viagogo. I then learned that the date listed on the site for the game was false. Then received an email from them indicating that game had been moved to a different month. Since the game wasn't "cancelled" they would not issue refund but offered to re-list tickets on their site for re-sale. BAIT AND SWITCH! This company is a complete scam. I wish I would have read reviews before I used them. Everyone has same complaints.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH THESE THIEVES.
Bought 2 tickets for Porto vs Sporting Lisbon for 4th March. The date changed so not possible to attend (so tickets no longer as advertised). All customer service can say is 'no refund' and when you have a legal case and quote their own T&Cs they disappear.
Rip off merchants - do not use
Ordered tickets not realising this site is not connected to theatre box office. Tickets plus charges cost £153 and only found out when tickets arrived in somebody elses name who had paid £17.90 for them. Rang box office who told me how these people work and I felt totally hacked off!
Well you live and learn but how is it that these people get away with daylight robbery. Keep well away from this site at all costs!
They look like a ticket portal, but they are not. Just market for tickets bought by someone else. They demand immediate payment for tickets, but give them to you just 3 days prior to an event. Sky high prices due to fees. No refund possible. Try to avoid viagogo at all costs!
3 tickets that costs 500 swedish crowns each costed me 3 800 swedish crowns when I got them throught Viagogo. They lyed and said it was a few tickets left and it was only reserved for some minutes and... the scamed me
Site misleads you into rushing to buy ticket with a short countdown to make purchase as says tickets selling fast. Hidden fees you only really get to see when made purchase and cant cancel. Paid a criminal amount in charges. Google needs to remove these scum from top search as they are criminals. NEVER BUY FROM VIAGOGO!
Brought online for 2 tickets approx USD2K plus, thru Credit card, ended up the 3rd party seller was a haox, downloaded my E-tickets and the tickets numbers was blank by the reseller. Ended very frustrating, got some email reply from Viagogo and was refunded in full on the 31st January 2018. Well please review and check on these resellers cause we cant contact them at all... Tq
Ticket for Metallica show in Madrid were sold as having original price ~ 500 eur, after it turned out viagogo add about 180 eur their commission. I felt vexed by such shameless style. But worst yet to come... They advised that due to limitations imposed by show administrators sellers's representative must accompany me into the show. I met sellers rep and tickets he delivered were bought by himself from ticketmaster.com... for price of 95 euro!
Courrier almost wasn't able to speak english, and said he's courrier only. He instructed NOT to say on entrance that tickets were bough from viagogo, but ticketmaster! Obviously there were no any limitation by show administrators - it was lie of viagogo
Luckily tickets were valid and for seats we chosen. But their deliberate misleading of 'net\nominal price', lies about entrance limitations and cheaty way of reselling and delivering the tickets really consititutes fraud. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
Clicked on wrong site and ended up on them and got charged though the teeth in fees, where as every other site still had tickets for the stated amount... never again.
Tickets booked and paid for in full in November. 6 days prior to event notified by email that tickets are NOT AVAILABLE! At the time of booking the system was telling me how many people were viewing the tickets and counting down the total number available and the seconds remaining to book a ticket. Amazing that this system doesnt seem able to match tickets sold with tickets available. Offered refund but when I select the link it says it is missing! So much for guaranteed tickets! Looks like I will have to pursue a claim via my credit card company. What kind of SCAM is this?
SCAM site, pretending to be the biggest reseller in the world. The price displayed is not the price you will pay, they will add on extortionate fees after you've added your card details, and will pressure you into paying quickly with their fake countdown timers, and fake messages saying you need to act fast etc. Then, once you look at your bill after paying they sneakily up the price even more, and are very difficult to get money back from. They will shut you out of your account to make it harder for you to try and get a refund. They sell tickets that are not valid, yet claim on their website all tickets are 100% guaranteed. They also sell tickets they don't even have, or that are not even on sale yet. Possibly the biggest scammers in the world.
AVOID VIAGOGO AT ALL COSTS, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SCAMMED!
I booked a ticket for Wicked at Bristol Hippodrome, the ticket came, no problem. The show is tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. But 2 days ago I got an email from Viagogo reminding me about the booking and was confused to see that I had paid £80 for a £38 ticket. I thought it was a mistake so I gave them a ring. No mistake - that's what I was charged. I can't remember the details of the booking, but I know I would not have paid so much if it had been clear on the booking form. Outrageous. There are plenty of tickets available direct from the box office at face value. Never again.
SCAM... most awful experience. Prices ABSURDLY high - Worst experience of my life - Outrageous unaccounted fees.
Thee most awful experience.
Took £622.00 for 2 Coldplay tickets. Said they would be delivered 7 days before event. Of course they didn't arrive. After countless unanswered emails, and there is no number to call them, I really was very upset. Called credit card company. After 7 months, they have sent paper work to credit card company saying I downloaded the tickets, so cant get a refund! I never downloaded any tickets, as it clearly stated they would be posted, not downloaded. Scam company, have themselves covered by the small print AFTER you press "pay" the small print is NOT THE SAME INFORMATION THEY SEND TO YOU. But this is what they send the credit card company after when a complaint goes in, so it looks like you have accepted T&C's. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. No Wonder a lot of artists don't deal with them anymore. This came out on the news about the same time I hadn't received my tickets! So No Tickets and £622 down. Somebody is on a very nice earner in VIAGOGO...
Worst Ticket Experience of my entire 40 year Concert Going Life. Charged Me, Send me a Confirmation 2X and no tickets ever arrived! Contacted them online 2X no response. Had to dig deep to find a phone number to call, only to hear that it was after hours (6 pm- 2 hours before the concert time) that there was NO ONE to help and solve the problem. So I drove to the venue, MGM, only to hear from them that the Tickets were sold (yes the ones that I had 2 written confirmations on) to another party! Wasted Time, Money, Cost me more money and the STRESS! Buyer Beware! FRAUD Alert!
ViaGoGo came up top of Google Search for X Factor Live Events. Purchased on line. Prices thought to be high - but if that's what they cost, then so be it - so I thought. When the Tickets arrived (one plus point) the Face Value on the Ticket was +211% on the Face Value. Yes 211%. £113.55 for a £36.50 Seat. How are they even allowed to trade without prior disclosure of breakdown of charges? Live and learn. Live and learn!
I used this site many times. I always get tickets on time. Everything is great. I used this site many times. I always get tickets on time. Everything is great.
This company should be closed down. The product they sell are in accurate and misleading and they don't provide what they are selling. They charge huge commission charges which do not show till you get your tickets and the customer service is none existent. I wish I had read all review before buying as you will get nothing from this company than ripped off.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
