The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THESE I HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY complete rip off inflated prices sold on from other companies, no customer support abslutely disgusting.
I bought two concert tickets (Joaquin Sabina) for Hermosillo Mexico. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled because the artist ended up in the hospital. VIAGOGO said we needed to ship the hard copy tickets to IRELAND in order to get a refund. The tickets were shipped to us in Mexico from Mexico. The cost to FEDEX tickets to Ireland was almost equal to the price of the tickets! And we had less than a week, and no guarantee that the shipment would arrive in time.
Unfortunately, VISA wasn't any help either. I would consider a cancelled concert to be in the same category as "defective merchandise" since it was a product that was not as advertised. So I am out the cost of the tickets. NOT HAPPY. And, I couldn't call the 866 number on my credit card bill because I am in Mexico.
I purchased two tickets to a San Lorenzo soccer match in Buenos Aires which was scheduled to take place at 18.00 on the 18th March. At 9.35 a.m. on the 17th I was notified by e-mail where I could pick up the tickets. At 12.14 on the 17th The company sent an e-mail with a change of date to the 17th at 15.45! I did not pick up this e-mail until about 18.00 on the 17th so the match had already taken place.
Surely at 9.35 when I was notified about the change of date Viagogo must have had some warning that the date of the match had changed. I paid over 3000 pesos for the two tickets and have no recourse. The company has a customer service line which does not accommodate complaints of this nature. I am assuming they do not want to hear about these issues.
Obviously I also have a major problem with the soccer club which seems to be able to change the date of a match with virtually no notice. I will write to them as well but this experience has soured our view of the way business is conducted in Argentina.
We bought 3 tickets for Disney on ice in singapore, we payed 350$ for the 3 tickets and we received tickets worth 40$. When we were buying the tickets we didnt even realize that we were using viagogo. The website look exactly like the sports hub in singapore and was the first link on google. So its a big scam and a rip-off. Be careful. Dont use them and they should be reported but there is not even a number to call for client service or email or anyone to talk to.
Least helpful company Ive ever encountered
Cannot speak to a real person but they will respond to your email within 24 hours even though you have a collection problem on the day.
Arranged collection of ticket. UPS says reference numbers dont exist, cant get hold of anyone at viagogo
Was supposed to get a text with a approx pick up time, still waiting and latest pick up is 5, its now 4:30.
Absolute sh*t show
I brought and sold tickets from viagogo. The concert was on 24 Feb and it says you will receive payment 5-7 Business days after the concert, not on a different page it says I think will be 10 Business days after the concert which was yesterday and NO PAYMENT. They are very poor at replying to emails as well which doesn't help!
This company lies: the "viagogo guarantee" is 100% worthless, there is no guarantee that you will actually get a ticket to anything you buy via their website. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - they are thieves.
If theres 0, ill rate it as 0! This is bull$#*! forreals. Please dont buy or sell tickets here. I sell my tickets for monsta x and it says if the buyer bought it, ill received my money within 5-8 days after the concert. Wtf is this? I dont think ill even get my money -.-. Please stay awayyyyyyy
I bought tickets 600% over the actual value of the tickets.
They tell you it is fast selling, but it is not true.
If you would like tickets for any event rather contact the locals and ask them where you can buy tickets at fair and at a honest price.
Stay away from Viagogo!
Bought a ticket through Viagogo to see Cirque du Soleil on Sunday, March 04 2018 19:30 at Royal Albert Hall.
It turned out the tickets were acquired using a stolen credit card and I was denied entry. When contacting Viagogo, they said that they were unable to provide a refund since the tickets were not printed on paper - a conveniently crafted legal loophole for them:(
Please do not do any business with them if you do not want to loose your money!
The final price of the tickets I bought was much higher than the one initially announced. Apart from this the opera tickets were for standing places, which wasnt clearly stated during the purchase. Dont ever buy from them
Most viagogo reviews tell of buyers woes but for me, as a seller it is just as bad.
About 1 hour after listing they tell you the tickets have sold and to ship them using their courier, (UPS in my case) i. E. their expense, using a prearranged tracking reference. All good stuff. About a day later however, you get an email to say that you'll be paid as and when they sell.
The tickets are by this stage in the UPS tracking system, but they never reach their destination presumably because the destination address is bad. That means viagogo can "fine" the seller for an "unfulfilled order", £47 in my case. When raising the issue with UPS you'll be told that an investigation has to be initiated by the person receiving or the account holder, but of course they wont receive the package unless they have presold the tickets.
So presumably the tickets get returned to viagogo rather than the source address form which they were collected. They get the tickets + £47 less the courier cost of about £10.
Message for the rolling stones - organise a spoof concert with the sole objective to bankrupt viagogo.
This website is bulshyt I had brought 2 bruno mars tickets for my sisters 21st birthday for 500$$ on the day of the event we went to the gate to scan our tickets both our tickets got declined entry as someone else had already used these tickets in Australia! So I had to hustle our way through an got in to watch bruno mars but the experience of being able to get in was a disaster! As we were an hour LATE! An was so far to see from the stage Because of this. How cunning
Tickets for an event bought by my daughter as a Christmas present to me, I could buy same tickets day of the event, rugby game, and she has paid just short of 180 pound for 2 X £30 tickets. Three times face value. Could understand if event was sold out but this is just ripping off those who do not have an understanding of ticket prices.
We bought ticket for $500+ in total and the booking fee is $145
$#*!ing Ripoff! The most expensive booking free we have ever seen!
Was just looking on there site how can they charge 6,160 pounds for a 84.00 kylie manogue ticket the cheapest is 2,200 who be stupid enough to pay this
This company is a shame of the Earth. All I can say. Really. I would ban all of their operations. Why no consumer protection group is ruining them?
Sent them tickets the morning after they requested them. They then emailed saying they hadn't sold. I'd already sent the tickets to the address! Not only did I receive nothing for the tickets, I'd paid extra for the postage. Viagogo admitting no responsibility. Do not use this service. You will lose your money.
Hadn't bought concert tickets before so I didn't realise I was being ripped off by them. I ended up paying hundred percent more than the face value. Feel very cheated! There's a fake time counter to pressure you into acting fast to avoid missing out on the seats you've chosen too. NEVER AGAIN!
This is a great cheat! I was stupid to buy 2 concert tickets from Viagogo before I checked the backgrounds of this firm. They give false information in their marketing and charge unreasonable extra. You don't know beforehand how much you are actually going to pay. I bought 2 tickets with a price of 75 euros each. The total invoice was over 320 euros!
Google Viagogo and check the customer experiences before doing any purchase from this firm! The web is full of angry customers with cheating experiences. I made my mistake. Never buy anything from this joint. Avoid this firm like a plague!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
