The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

This company charges double the amount for tickets than the actual venue charges. In addition I did not know that I would not receive the tickets until a few days before the event which is months away but they've already deducted the funds from my cc account. DO NOT USE VIAGOGO
LADRI - ROBBERS - LADRONES - VOULERS -
Original sale price of the ticket: 112
Viagogo price ticket: 168
56 OF DIFFERENCE

This is a scam operation.
This company is evil, selling tickets that they dont even possess.
The 2 tickets I bought from viagogo cost me $195.49
These same ticket are available at the venue for $15 each.
Do not buy frm Viagogo if you do they will rip you off. We purchased tickets in a seated area. Said delivery 3 days before concert. We were notified the day of the concert that tickets had been cancelled and no refund. This site are nothing more than thrives scammers and scum it has cost us $2500 I am coming to get you Viagogo
Hi all. I purchased tickets for the above in Melbourne on Monday night 2nd of April. After purchasing the tickets there was a bit of controversy in NZ after a few concerts held here in NZ people had been sold tickets that didnt exists or sold twice. Really was thinking we had lost 400 odd dollars. But we received our tickets within an hour of purchase and also received email on day of concert to have a great night and if there were any issues there was a number to call. We got in and were treated to an amazing concert. So would say yep was a success but would go through ticketateck in the first instance as viagogo do charge very steeply to book with them. Good luck
I purchased 3 tickets in December, for a concert on March 14, in Monterrey, Mexico. I spent $ 1400. 00, plus airline tickets from JFK. The tickets never arrived via USPS. Contacting customer service was a nightmare.
They are ordinary scammers. You will not accept the changed price - they will collect the whole changed amount from the card anyway. They do not have a 3d Secure code so you can not see from the bank how much they really want to download. They do not accept return of defective tickets. There is a fool on the complaint that everything is okay on their side. The company should be avoided with a wide arc, in fact, as fraudsters, it would be necessary to block them from displaying the domain as a servant of extortion crimes.
Viagogo pressures you into buying tickets by making it seem like more people are buying tickets rapidly and that tickets will run out. They offer no return policy. When you purchase tickets they take your money right then but you do not get tickets until 3 days prior to the event, but when you sell tickets you do not get paid until 5-8 days after the event. Worst company.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!
My wife purchased 2 x tickets for an Opera at the Sydney Opera house, 2 x tickets@ $110 each ended as $420 bill! It was only afterwards she saw all these reviews, IF you can, REVERSE the transaction via your bank ASAP, we are with AMP and they have been absolute angels, thanks AMP! It's a horrible feeling realizing you've been caught in a scam, don't be embarrassed it happens to the best of us, just call your bank!
Scam beware! I purchased tickets for an event on 1st April for what was presented as very good seats priced £115 for two tickets, then billed in Czech Krona on my credit card. I Immediately contacted viagogo because this looked suspicious to me. I received the tickets around midnight on 2nd April. It turns out the seller didn't have the tickets showed in their possession when I made my purchase. The seller proceeded to purchase the tickets later on in the day on 2nd April (worst and cheapest possible £20/ticket) and sent those to me.
I decided to buy tickets from viagogo for better seats, I could have bought the cheap £20 ones myself directly. Beware of Viagogo scams. The customer services are very unhelpful too. Making no effort to resolve or investigate this scam.
Viagogo are black market ticket touters example: Selling tickets for John Cleese in hasselt for 162 per ticket (118 + 3 handling fee + 41 booking fee) total for the same ticket direct from tele ticket service Belgium 43. Blacklist viagogo
I recently made a concert ticket purchase from this website. I cancelled as soon as I realized the cost of a ridiculous finding fee (more than half the cost of the ticket), I cancelled. I only saw the finding fee at the end of the transaction a screen away from finalizing. Low and behold, they processed the purchase anyway, in spite of me pressing cancel. Now I can't even find a way to dispute the error. It's as if, I'm locked out the site to go in to inquire or make a complaint. It's showing no transaction history. I did get an email of the ticket. Now I have to figure out if it's legit. Has anyone ever made a purchase from this site. Viagogo.com?
Ordered 3 concert tickets & happy to pay over the odds for what I wanted, but at closing, charged another £90 gbp! Crooks... just read an article that said the founder is quoted as saying " let's go make a billion"! He realised there are a lot of trusting customers and he's happy to rip us off... DO NOT USE, EVER.
Authorities need to close them down before they walk away with the billion ( or two)!
Stay away! No customer service and they don't care robbing b**tards! Would never use their service again
I'm a new sucker that was taken by a bait and switch ticket sale. I just bought Rockets vs Suns NBA basketball tickets on their site which clearly shows that the tickets I was looking to buy were floor tickets. The UI even shows the limited seating in the section I chose (119) at the Toyota Center, clearly showing the buyer the difference between the "floor seats" and the "lower level" seats. Anyone who has ever been to Toyota Center knows that there are floor tickets and lower level tickets and that they are separate sections within section 119.
Well, once I chose those that section it took a while to find some tickets and said there were only two left at a deeply discounted price from other online ticket shops. I thought the ticket owners were just dumping them at the last minute or something. THe only thing fishy was that it didn't tell me which row or seats I would get, but I know from having sat on the floor that there are only 3 rows. At this price, I didn't care. They're FLOOR SEATS!
So, throughout the entire buying process, I was shown that I was buying floor seats. Once I completed my purchase, the confirmation screen showed Section 119 Row 22. Wait! Huh? Row 22? That's clearly not a floor seat. Rows A-C are floor seats in that section. I have screenshots to prove what happened.
It's been 30 minutes and no tickets sent to my flash seats account yet.
Yup, so I too got shafted by Viagogo. They did have better seated tickets than booking via the arena directly, and I was happy to pay the initial difference in the tickets (50 each) plus the 2 per ticket booking fee.
Then when you are putting in payment details, they say you have only 10 seconds left and you get a pop up... two options: Release tickets or Buy.
Which means you cannot read all the regulations and conditions under the pop up without selecting one of the options... So you panic and buy.
And then end up paying another 93 euros in "taxes".
You cannot cancel or contact this company so I am now paying double for the tickets than I could have been paying. 600 Aussie dollars is an expensive lesson to learn, one mistake I will never make again and I hope you don't either!
Viagogo ripped me off, like it has ripped off so many other people. The tickets I bought turned out to be WAY more expensive than what I thought. I don't care what fine print gets them off the hook legally.
I wish I could give negative stars or at least no stars, I bought tickets to go to the Champions League game for FC Barcelona vs. Roma (4/4/18). Unfortunately I did not read any reviews before I bought the tickets, but after purchasing tickets I did read some reviews and saw that FC Barcelona does not accept tickets that are bought on this website. I called FC Barcelona's ticket office the next day and they did in fact inform me that they do not accept any tickets that are bought through Viagogo. I reached out to the customer service department and let them know what I found out. Their response was basically "to bad, you can try to resell them on their website/app but if I can't resell them than I am out of luck and it is not our problem". They are unethical and refuse to do the due diligence that they owe to their customers, on top of that they refuse to do anything when they are in the wrong. I will be disputing this transaction with my credit card company as well as taking any and all necessary legal actions to ensure I get my money back without screwing over another individual, something that Viagogo is not willing to do.
This company scammed my mother while trying to look for tickets she googled and clicked the first ad (this disgusting excuse for a company) not knowing any better, then when she went to purchase the tickets, still thinking they were legit, they tried to charge her credit card 6x what the advertised amount! Luckily her bank declined the purchase due to exceeding her daily budget. This site is a shocking violation of peoples trust.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
