The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF COMPANY!
We ordered 3 tickets for Eminem at Twickenham. They overcharged us by double, including extortionate charges and VAT!
Then they said they have lost the tickets, meaning that the whole weekend we have planned is ruined. I now have a hotel, and parking at the event which is of no use.
The customer services is by email only, i could not find a phone number that actually got through to someone who did not have s%*t for brains.
They have hidden charges that show up after you have paid, and no way to question them.
Fraudulent company with no morals, and workers that i wouldn't trust to sit the right way on a lavatory bowl.
Recently, we bought tickets for Eminem at Twickenham. The face value including VAT of the tickets wer £110.00 per ticket. Viagogo has charged me £503.00; over double the value. They charged 2 lots of VAT which I dont believe to be right. I tried to contact them regarding this matter and they placed the blame with the ticket issuer LIVENATION.co.uk. I will be taking this further. As previous reviews has said they have completely taken advantage of the rush to buy or miss out and and charged just what they felt like.
Completely tricked by false urgency and last minute huge price hike also not convinced the tickets would have got me in to see Paul Simon.
This site needs shutting down, why hasnt it been done already.
Based on the negative reviews, I was nervous that I would not get into the Imagine Dragons concert. However, the tickets (which showed the name of the person who owned them previously) were scanned and I had no issues.
1 hour up to concert I have no E-ticket on email! Disgusting!
Israel. Ozzy osborne. Viagogo aweful reseller!
My own fault for not looking at reviews. But hopefully someone else will avoid making the same mistake.
The tickets I was sold are invalid. The stadium confirmed these will not work, so had to then go directly to the official vendor (which is what I should've done in the first place).
To top that off, the initial charge to my credit card went up by 1.5 times the next morning, had to quickly cancel the credit card (which cost me yet again).
Overall, I'm surprised this site can still legally operate, I hope it gets shut down and the owners are dealt with as appropriate.
I placed some concert tickets for sale on the Viagogo website. As part of this, I had to give my account info so that payment could be made to me when the tickets sold.
However, it was impossible for me to follow up on the email they sent congratulating me on the sale of two of the four tickets I advertised.
They had not placed the tickets in my account there were no listings or sales to display.
They had not given me any information as to the buyer, so it was impossible to honour the purchase. It also appears that no payment was made by the supposed buyers either.
Initially, I was very keen to honour the sale, as a similar return would have been unlikely elsewhere, but it was impossible and I was not prepared to pay a premium rate for a phone call to the company, I deleted my account (which however somehow remains on their books). This was before they informed me that they were intending to take £40.00 from my account as a penalty. They also ignored my instruction to remove the tickets from sale, following the link in their email. This could mean that there is a disappointed customer somewhere, waiting in vain for my tickets, possibly also out of pocket to Viagogo and unaware that Viagogo have now cancelled the sale themselves.
I now understand they have made two requests for withdrawals from my account for £40.00 each, without my authority or any justification, given the above and the fact that is impossible to contact them except via a premium rate telephone line, which is unacceptable sharp practice. My 'deleted' account remains open, too
Bought three VIP tickets for a Paul Simon concert in Hyde Park. I made it clear that this are paper tickets due to arrive with me a week before (so, 5 working days) and could not be sent till I had them. I only now find out they sold one to a woman in Brazil. As she's clearly leaving Brazil at least a day or two before the concert this means I have to get them to Brazil from UK in three working days. If they don't arrive I have to pay for another ticket for the woman.
So this poor woman in Brazil doesn't get her ticket and I will lose the money from the tickets AND have to pay for replacements for her.
Their customer service is some sort of robot called Yash. I have emailed three times and each time they respond with a totally unrelated generic set response.
I don't care what they demand I am never giving them a penny.
Just a bunch of crooks. Now I only have a week to sell my tickets to someone who can actually use them.
Con merchants, I am so upset I didnt do my homework on this company, disgusting how they can get away with it, I brought my tickets in December 2017 for over £1000 pounds for 4 tickles so in my view I should get what I pay for instead they keep you money for 6 months with out letting you know were you will be sitting meaning the area but not the seat number and row number and then spend the next 6 months gaining interest on your money and reselling you seat the the bidder nearer the time, they just sent me my 4 tickets in a complete different name and my seat and row number is right at the back so basically I have been cheated and my mum who is 76 and dad is 82 and old school and traveling aboard to see concert and so upset with this it has spoiled this wonderful experience with Andre Rieu in Maastricht in his home town so my advice stay well clear of this company cheats.
The site mad me wait in two cues with pop-ups suggesting that almost all tickets were sold out. The price was double face value. It seemed dodgy so I looked on the venue's website where I found that tickets weren't even for sale! Avoid at all costs.
I purchased tickets for a concert at Sherwood Pines which arrived after the concert was over. My emails were returned as not deliveredand phone lines were too busy to take my calls.
I paid virtually double for these tickets.
Do NOT trust this company.

I purchased a world cup ticket which arrived over a week after the game and even though the tracking number says it they insist it arrived in time. I lost airline tickets because without my ticket I couldn't get into Russia. I had to open a dispute with my credit card.
Just bought Bluejay tickets and didn't realize how sketchy their marketing scheme was. They had a countdown of how many tickets were left, how many people were viewing the same event to get you hyped on buying hotseats " Theses supposed "hotseats" are merely overpriced tickets that buyers wanted to resell. I bought my tickets for 40.00 and when the purchase went through, the tickets org purchase was $30.00, but the advertisement said I saved $20.00.
A bank representative told me I could call disputes the next business day. I'm waiting for the transaction to go through so I could call customer service again and then they can call their contact info and run an investigation. Only issue I have at the moment is waiting for this dispute to be resolved and I hope to do that before tickets sell out!
Red Flag:
1. Timer countdown/ high pressure sales tactic
2. Handling fee in small print at the bottom of website. NOT included in transaction before you press approve!
3. A pop up window saying $5.95 booking fee and $15.00
4. NO customer service phone number
5. Wasn't able to login with my first password.
6. Previously bought ticket downloaded with name... not sure if this is legit.
This site not only adds bunch of extra fees but also sells fake tickets. Lawsuit upcoming you pieces of feces.
This is a scam site and needs to be taken down. We hVe todayreported this sure as illegal and police investigation is to be carried out. Banks need to be aware of this site and notify all clients immediately. Your tickets will not be valid st the door. P, ease be warned we booked for Disney on ice and were to, d you are a scam site the tickets are not valid
I was comparing ticket prices and selected tickets on Viagogo, entered all the information required and got to the final purchase page - which is where they tell you about the EXTRA COSTS, they are currently in violation of the ASA rules for this btw.
I went no further with the purchase and used the O2 website instead.
I have now been charged by Viagogo for the tickets, will raise a fraudulent transaction case with my Credit card company in the morning, bunch of crooks.
Never buy tickets from Viagogo! I paid almost three times as much as the ticketmaster price for a Beyonce and Jay Z concert. And I got the ticket only a week before the event.
Tickets are a gift for my daughter's 18th birthday - I'm hoping like heck that they are valid at the door! We paid more than 3 times the ticket value for %ç*" placement and absolutely no help from customer service - apparently they examined the tickets are are so happy to tell me they are what I paid for. Feeling completely ripped off!
ON DECEMBER 1ST, I BOUGHT 3 TICKETS FOR THE TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERT ON JUNE 22ND AT WEMBLEY STADIUM TROUGH THE VIAGOGO WEBSITE, AND UNTIL TODAY I DON´T HAVE TICKETS OR MONEY. I´VE ALREADY COMPLAINED AND THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS THE SAME..."I UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN BUT AS SOON AS WE HAVE AN ASWER WE WILL LET YOU KNOW..." DO NOT USE THIS SITE TO BUY ANYTHING FOR TO BE SURE YOU WILL STAY HANGING HANDS
Paid £177.00 for 2 tickets to see David Byrne in Manchester. At the door our tickets were scanned and had been used before. Checked with the box office and informed that this happens all the time with Viagogo. A three hour round trip, car parking charges and no concert. Absolutely furious.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
