The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Purchased tickets online, then told I will not receive them for nine months, 48 hours before the event starts in London.
I purchased two tickets to Sabrina Carpenter for over $600,2 months ago. I paid extra to get really good seats, because it was my daughter's first concert two hours before the show. They sent me an email saying my tickets were no longer available and sent me in seats that were, as far behind the stage as possible. I could not see the stage or even the TV showing the performer singing. I called the representatives and they told me sorry for your inconvenience. There is nothing we can do. They are a complete scam, and I strongly recommend for you not use them.
Not only did I not receive the tickets I purchased, but customer service was not help at all. Live chat is the only option and on several occasions had to wait over 30 minutes for an operator. I was at the event trying to get things straightened out and was told I would receive an email listing replacement options and it never came. I finally the day after got them to agree to a refund, but surprise, surprise it will take 10 business days
Husband purchased 2 cricket tickets at £240, when printed face value was £85, then received email to say rip the tickets up as the reseller didnt have them available - offered more tickets at extortionate prices or offered refund - awaiting refund. Checked cricket site and it advised reseller tickets not likely to get in - why doesnt the government scrap reseller sites then none of these unscrupulous people would just purchase in bulk just to resell. Cheat cheat cheat
A SCAMMMMMM!
A SCAMMMMMM!
My parents bought a parking ticket and not only did they NEVER send them a download link, the parking people told them that 5 other people showed up to the lot with an identical order number.
Their customer service was the worst thing ever --- they were asking us to screenshot and send them emails that they sent us? We did but an order number should be enough, what's wrong with their system? In the end, we never got our money back because we didn't report that they messed up and never sent us a downloadable link BEFORE the concert. Now that it's after and they robbed us, we can't get a refund.
DONT BOOK WITH THEM

Subject: The Imaginative Experience of Buying Tickets on Viagogo
Dear Viagogo Team,
I hope this email finds you all well and basking in the unending success of your ticket-selling platform. I wanted to share with you my marvelous and utterly unique experience of purchasing tickets on your site.
I've always heard that getting tickets for various events is challenging, but Viagogo showed me just how fantastic it is to go through this process with unparalleled stress and complete uncertainty. It's truly thrilling to try and figure out if the tickets you've purchased will be valid in the end, and the sense of adventure is indescribable!
Furthermore, I must express my gratitude for the wonderfully high prices your platform offers. It's truly impressive to pay multiples of the original ticket price and feel like part of a chosen elite who get to experience this privilege.
Regarding the transparency and honesty of your platform, it's entirely clear that you've chosen to maintain a special mystique in the purchasing process. This approach makes every step a mental challenge and prepares buyers for the surprises of life, which is undoubtedly educational and beneficial.
As for the rights of the buyer, perhaps it's better that these aren't too apparent. After all, having clear rights and avenues for complaints might ruin the adventurous and unpredictable buying experience that Viagogo offers. Thank you for ensuring that nothing is certain or guaranteed, keeping the excitement and anticipation alive.
With respect and deep irony,
Aurel
£44 tickets on sale at over £300. It's basic extortion & thieving. These sites need shutting down
About time the government passed some legislation over these touts
I bought tickets there twice and both times same thing happened. I bought vip tickets and they delivered tickets where seats were very far away from where I bought it for the price of vip which was extremely expensive. If you wanna have a good experience don't buy from them and they always send tickets couple hours before concert.
I had expensive tickets for a rock concert that were bought early and now we can't go, so I wanted to sell them for the exact price I had bought them, so I listed them on Viagogo and two competitor sites.
My tickets sold on the competitor site and then one day later, sold again on Viagogo: when I got the email from the latter I did NOT confirm the sale and then emailed them and told them I no longer had the tickets as they sold on a competitor page simultaneously. They said I would get a penalty of approximately £350! I said no: I did not confirm the sale, a seller must send an order confirmation before the sale is binding, plus I would likely have a cool-off period anyway. This was back in MARCH and even under the Viagogo GTCs, the buyer could easily get replacement tickets, both on Viagogo and competitor sites. I then deleted my account with Viagogo and all payment forms.
Well, last week (now in MAY, 2.5 months later) they attempted to charge my credit card the £350! This was unauthorised and they obviously illegally retained my sensitive personal data! The only reason I'm not out of pocket is bc this credit card had been cancelled in the meantime by me.
This is a SCAM website and they act illegally; their GTCs are NOT in line with contract law and they retain sensitive personal data without authorisation. Be very careful as a seller: it is perfectly reasonable for a private party seller to list their product on many websites for the best chance at a sale and if you inform them as soon as the potential buyer accepts the price and offers to buy the tickets, seller still has the legal right to remove their product from sale. The advertisement is merely an invitation to treat, NOT a binding commitment to sell your tickets! Be VERY careful or better yet, avoid this website!
I had a terrible experience with Viagogo. I ordered tickets for football match Malaga FC, but what I received were the wrong tickets only for kids and 4 different places at the stadium, completely useless for the event I intended to attend. To make matters worse, they took my money and have refused to issue a refund, even after acknowledging their mistake. This company is untrustworthy and unreliable. Save yourself the headache and avoid Viagogo at all costs!
Save your money go to another website. They will steal your money. They dont have specified office. Listen to me i swear
Appalling company to deal with - they masquerade as primary sellers, are not up-front with their business model of reselling tickets, with little to no checks and balances as to whether or not those tickets are genuine, and will not refund you, even if you realise just after booking what calibre of company you are dealing with and try to cancel there and then. They even push you towards immediately reselling the tickets you've bought on their site, at a potential loss of course, despite the fact that you don't own them, effectively trying to rope you into being part of their scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Am comandat lunea trecuta bilete la meciul Fcsb-Rapid.Inafara faptului ca le-am plătit de 4 ori pretul.nici acum nu au venit.
Absolute rip off
No tickets and refund came after the concert
Cost me £200 in call charges as I did not know they were international calls to speak to them
I bought tickets to Real Madrid-Manchersyer City. Everything is fine and dandy, the money was taken from my account with the promise that later on the day of the match you will receive the tickets by mail. The day of the match has also arrived, I came from Romania for this event, the cost of the plane tickets, the cost of the accommodation... but let's get over it. I received the tickets by email the day before, with an invalid link attached... where I was supposed to see my tickets. I tried to get in touch with someone from Viagogo, very bad communication, through an online chat, all I received were useless apologies and messages that I have to wait. In the end, I was not offered the tickets and I was forced to opt for a refund... which will come in 5 working days. So look at me coming to Madrid for a match that I won't participate in because of this secondary market, called Viagogo, which "makes" the worst connection between the seller and the buyer. Do not use Viagogo, it is not the first case that I have heard among my friends
Scammers. My friend bought us tickets to see Gipsy Kings at The Bristol Beacon with Viagogo, (at what we now know was double the price in the first place) only to discover when we got there that our tickets were invalid, the seats had already been sold by the venue to other people so ours technically didn't exist. Viagogo had sold us over priced tickets for seats that were not available. We had to buy new tickets (which cost half the price thankfully) and we're pursuing a refund. AVOID.
I sold a coldplay ticket on the platform and nearly two months after the event, I am struggling to get SGD 260 back. Why doesnt Singapore Government Ban them? They are complete THUGS! I have given them my bank account statement for period they claim, they made the refund but still nothing. Will take money through Credit Card but wont refund on the same. Why? Coz otherwise how will they cheat you!
Unbelievable that i wasnt able to cancel my ticket even though it took days to show up in my account
CROOKS...purchased two tickets for 173euros. When I received the tickets, they had different name and price was 74euros for both. Biggest scam I ran into as they appear as a valid site not reseller. Stay away
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
