I was excited when I read their Trust page, but after browsing for many days, I became so disappointed to see that there are so many counterfeit bags and accessories. If you're buying some thing sure this website is fine but if you were selling something, this is literally the worst online website and application that I have ever used in my entire life! They have the worst customer service and they micromanage the photos you upload and then they don't even upload the correct photos and then they upload duplicates then they delete the wrong ones you didn't ask to be deleted. It literally makes you feel like a child and they act like it's for quality control when in fact, it is the opposite and it prevents you from being able to sell your stuff as quickly as possible with good photos because their awful excuse for quality control makes your listing look stupid by not including what you're asking them to include which for me or photos I would want to see if I was buying the item. For example, I listed a pair of Louboutin over the knee boots which were over $2000 that I'm selling for 50% off so I included photos of me wearing them so you could see what they look like on a person and vestiaire will not upload these photos which I had submitted in my initial listing as well as my request for different times in the last 48 hours so it's been a week and a half total. In addition to that, I've tried to upload a photo of the heels that I had also submitted with my initial listing because that's important to see how much wear and tear is on the heel. They won't upload that photo. They instead keep posting duplicates of photos that are already on my listing and then take them down when I said, can you take down the duplicate and do not take down all of the photos. Oh, and by the way, they will not have a conversation with you over the phone. You are only allowed to talk to them through a chat, which they take hours to reply to you and then when they do reply, it seems like they are either not a human or they don't speak. The same language or they don't know how to read and if they were able to get it right that's fine but they can't get it right and you can't even talk to anybody to resolve it. It's infuriating. I am trying to use this money to pay for my dog's hospital bills so time is of the essence here and I'm so frustrated with Vestiaire who is making it unreasonably difficult to sell my own items. You're better off selling with Poshmark.

I don't have enough room. I really don't. But this is an AWFUL company. The sellers don't ship their items, they change your verbiage (coming from someone who doesn't read or write in English…) if you try to sell something. We tried THREE times to buy a bag to save $$ for my 40th bday. Well let's just say I should have bought from f b re sale sites. Those are the ones I've never had an issue with. This company also acquired tradesy, so look out! Just despicable.

First of all, I don't believe anyone there is an expert your staff didn't know that my real Vivienne Westwood was real or that Zadig & Voltaire tags are attached with safety pins I have already and the emails from Vestiaire are filled with bad English such as "Could you please explain well your request, please?" that does not show a command of the language I don't believe you are even employed there the "customer service" which is always horrible seems as it outsourced so they use bots and employees they seem to be are just spitting out the information they know nothing about. Of the 80 items I have sold 4 have been lost compared to none on Grailed and Mercari and 1 on Poshmark where I have sold over 200 items and which paid the minute they realized their mistake Vestiare 2 months to pay for the Helmut Lang skirt they lost. They have lost another item the address did not exist and the idiot at the Help desk though I was the buyer said the package hadn't been mailed yet and there was no tracking both of which are incorrect and then they get an attitude if you won't take them at their word their experts are handling it not an expert on the premises

HORRIBLE SITE! They claim to authenticate/ verify the transactions with their experts... BUT... By verify, they simply mean they compare the write description to the item and Nothing more! They don't even verify the information is correct and accurate. Even after I supplied Double RL catalog photos showing the pants being worn on and sold as women's. Yes, I received women's pants being SOLD as Men's on Vestiaire Collective. The pants are even being sold currently on Ralph Lauren. Com as women's. Anyone can verify information as correct but an expert can tell if the info is accurate and correct. Apparently not here on this site. I sent them catalog photos, links to the current pants being SOLD as women's but still rejected my return. Shady service! I paid $15‐$20 for this authentication service and they didn't even do it accurately and can't admit any wrong doing. EXPERTS my A$$! I'm letting the court system and the federal trade Commission figure it out.

I'm writing again as this site is getting worse and worse. We are selling professionally for years and are selling multiple of an item in new condition.
Recently all items fail their " authentication service" mentioning absurd reasons why the item is not authentic. Even apparently the dustbag is fake! And apparently it's not allowed to sell multiple of one item. All our sales got cancelled within a few hours of them asking for a receipt or certificate. When we tried to send it in they already said authentication failed. Their customer service is absolute useless - copy paste kind of answers and they threatened to close our account as continuous selling of counterfeit goods - when the goods are actually authentic and can be authenticated by any third party ( we have third party certificates but they don't accept that)
The worst is they ask 15 euros per item to get our authentic items back when on our side we didn't make any mistakes! A total scam. Stay away if you value your time and nerves

A few days after I received the $200.00 Prada sunglasses the lenses on both sides started cracking. But because it passed the 72 hour mark they can't do anything abt it. I even sent them a picture but still they didn't do anything abt it. Very very disappointed in the company. Don't by anything through them. It also took forever to get to me.

I bought the sneakers on the platform from a private seller. In the description of the item was nothing about damages but they were in such terrible condition. Torn, frayed, torn seams. I wrote to the support they told me that they are "really sorry" about the situation and offered me the "second check", I sent them back the shoes. And they decided that the condition matches the description what is insane! So they just propose me to sell them from my account and they want to take the commission from this selling! I'm in shock, really!
Also from the support team I got this:
"I understand that you are unhappy in this entire solution, I will feel the same if l'm on the same shoes."
Everybody understand that I was deceived but nobody take care of it! I would never ever recommend somebody this platform! It's the worst thing I ever did - buy the stuff here. I lose my money and I just need come to terms with it. Or sell the sneakers and make the same situation for somebody else.

Many extra fees. No option to op out. I was purcashing a $18 wallet dust bag, and by time the fees where added it was $60!
For a 12 inch dust bag!
No products are shown on a model to see how it hangs and fits body.
Photos are bad on most.
I purchased an expensive bag. Got tracking. And waited…waited. Then was informed the item is no longer for sale? I know…I bought it!

Do not use this company, they do not want to issue refunds.
I've made to orders with them which have both been cancelled as the senders didn't send the items.
The refunds have not been issued, I've been trying to contact customer services via email and chat for a week, but have not yet found out what the issue is with processing my refunds. I just keep getting automated messages that I'll hear back within 24 hours, but I never do! There is no other option to escalate the issue too. Plus I paid via splitit and they have not cancelled the payment plans, so I am going to keep having to pay the monthly payments too for items which have been cancelled!

I placed a few listing with a transparent background. Only for then to made public two days later with a horrible unprofessional black background. They dont offer me the option to change it myself to images with a white background. They told me to send them the images with a white background for them to correct the listing. Over a week later and they have done nothing! They say they take up to 48 hours to resolve the issue even though it is extremely simple. A week later and they have done nothing. I have to remove my listing and post them again from scratch. They take 15% from all your sales and do a horrible job. They constantly send me emails and messages to lower my prices by huge amounts. They want to get money from you and they alter the images you use in your listing making them look horrible, their is no way to change or edit the images on your listing; they told me to send them images with white instead of transparent background and that it would be resolved in less then 48 hours. It has been over a week and they have done nothing and are ignoring all my attempts at contracting them!

Terrible customer service! Avoid at all cost if you want to be scammed. Purchase a $900 pair of boots but it came defective. I reached out moments upon receiving the item and noticed the zipper bust wide open when you wear it. It was a nightmare to removed if you know zippers you would know when they bust open it is extremely hard to unzip. I returned the item but they refused to refund me claiming it was worn. Well no sht sherlock I brought a used shoe. I literally have photo evidence of the damaged shoe timestamped when I received it. Their customer service people are useless asf. They emailed me saying they were going to relist the item and I would only get my money back once it sells. So they want another schmuck to buy the item in order for me get my money back and on top of that they said they would charge their commission. Extremely unethical business and just straight up scammers. There are better second hand websites you can purchase from that can better quality control used items. This is just disgraceful. Who let these people have a business. Shut them down asap.

This site is a joke! Never buy or sell
As an expert seller for many years, I would rate this site with minus stars if I could.
No customer service at all.
Many times they have refused my items by the quality control for reasons that they are not true.
They always reassure you that they look into the matters occurred but it's not happening.
In my opinion with my experience being an expert seller for many years never sell or buy from this site. There is always a problem occurring and they are never able to solve it.
This site is a joke.
The last time they canceled my sale due to the fact that the coat that I sold had a fur on the collar, that it was clearly mentioned in the description from the very beginning. When I reached out to them to ask the reason they told me that it wasn't mentioned in the description, that was not true. Then they told me that they canceled the sale due to the fact that I couldn't export the coat with a fur on it, but at the same time the coat was exported from my country to their hub in France. They do sell many items with fur so that wasn't the case. They reassured me that they will look into the matter again by their team but at the same time they send me an email that they shipped the item back. Not with dhl express as they got it but with the slowest shipping method available and till now I don't know when I will receive it back. When I contacted there customer care to ask the reason why they were sending the coat since they've told me that they are looking into the issue again they replied with a simple sorry.
Not professionals, no customer care!
Be careful as I have written that there is a purpose they are doing it, they make money out of the fees they are charging the buyer for shipping and quality control.
Sell and buy in platforms like Videdressing and depop, they charge less for commission and they are trustworthy!

I used to sold a lot through VC, i am a Trusted Seller there.
I listed my Chanel bag and wrote in description: includes certification of authentication (not an authentication card!)
When it was sold, i sent the bag with printed authentication certificate! When VC hub got it, they sent me a report that it missing authentication card, it shouldn't be card! I never mentioned the authentication card in the description when i listed it. Now the seller has 72 hours to accept or cancel the order! Certification is not a card! Never will use the platform again until they will solve the problem! I am very disappointed!

Read the rules. No returns for items that do not fit properly. After buying 2 jackets and having issues with both, I am convinced that none of their clothing fit correctly and they are all on an endless re-list cycle. I Bought a jacket, it didn't fit, all they would do is Re-list on their website. Since then They have suggested multiple times to lower my price. They want me to lower my price for an item I never was able to wear. If I do, I will lose hundreds of dollars for nothing.

Terrible experience selling on the platform. The requested information but the app didn't work. By the time when "support" team finally responded me, the same was canceled because they didn't get information from me. Right, because their app and website didn't let me to update the info, and support team was picking their nose. So they say I have to pay $15 to get my item back. And they gave me their info for wire transfer. Means I had to pay $50 total, just to get my item back… I asked for another payment option. After a week they sent me a link, I payed right away and sent them screenshot. In few days I got a message- can you provide some other proofs?

I ordered twice now using this site, 1 got canceled because the item was now unavailable. Then what's the point of the listing still up. If you use their promo code on a cancelled item, you can't use the code again and have to go circles on chat to give you a new code that expires in 6 months. 2nd order got canceled due to "unexpected system glitch".
REVISED: Sellers should check their inventory once in a while. Made another purchase, this time went smoothly. Revised my rating to 2, because of the high fees which is 15% for international purchases, mandatory authentication, and extremely high cuties and customs fees because they use slimy UPS. PROS: you can split payment using Splitit (for Canada), which is the only non-garbage thing about buying here
