I have no clue where to start. For years I sold seamlessly on Tradesy, Poshmark and eBay and now that Tradesy is Vestiaire I have no choice. I sold LV shawl in good condition. Buyer requested to go to their quality control and they told buyer it has minor pulls ( mind you I put clear pictures of shawl with that on site) and it was micro pull but ok, buyer bailed and I lost sale. I received my shawl back but with extra hole where they (Vestaire) quality control team put their tag. When I contacted their CS via chat, she asked me to send pictures of before I shipped shawl. I am in shock, they put clearly their tag I sent them images and they pretend stupid. CS does't seem to ever understand English or gives straight answers. Another LV bag got rejected from sales but not clear reason. I realized and waiting. Again contacted CS and all they give me is robot answers. And this site makes quite a profit from us sellers yet they treat us poorly. I will try to limit or totally leave Vestaire for good. Too bad Tradesy is gone. They were not perfect but at least you could talk to live customer service on the phone and not robots

Sold a pair of Louboutin with studs.
After the sale they picked up the shoes with a UPS label and received them in a day. They reported that 1 out of the 60 studs was missing to the seller but failed to report I included spare ones in a pouch and after 3 full days they cancelled the sale.
They are now refusing to tell me when my shoes are coming back to me but it's gonna be days. This means I can't sell them elsewhere and I'm losing money every day.
Their customer service is non existent and a person called Ruphin R has been the rudest agent I've ever dealt with in my whole life besides not understanding basic English.
As of now I've lost a sale and don't have my item back nor I know when I will have it back.

VC is only a vessel, sellers are not visible, accountable nor responsive, 80% non responsive to the order and VC has no power nor influence in maintaining good solid sellers. VC has a nice front but 80% of the time. The seller doesn't communication nor follow through with shipping out the item 80% of time. VC has a cool website presence but no reliable substains being any seller can post a listing but never followup. Therefore, it is a bleak front image and VC is only hosting the website not a true business model.

Vestiaire has the worst customer service. They have some type of AI chat that is worthless and they are nonresponsive. I sent them an email reference my credit from Tradesy. The email stated they will respond in 24 hours. Well its been more than a week and haven't heard from them yet. Also, they charge $8 for shipping. Why? I received a package in a used Amazon box. With no help from Vestiaire, I finally was able to use my credit. After I receive my product I am deleting my account and uninstalling the App. Shipping is way too expensive for the quality of the boxes the merchandise comes in. Totally disgusted with their service!

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, first of all, as a seller, I am so disgusted with their service, they sell your items without your consent, THEN when you want to complain, nobody responds, and they are so rude sending emails with passive aggressive text, they also scam you more than the 15% commission rate advertised, they take an extra 3% for the items above £1000 which is extortionate and they do not disclose this information to you, i recommend everyone double check and do the math themselves because this website and company will steal money from you and then when you find out its too late. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. SHUT THE WEBSITE DOWN.

I'm a big reseller on Depop + Posh but wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, I don't have anything good to say about this marketplace. I both sold + purchased and both experiences were a nightmare... talk about a lengthy and cumbersome experience. Their customer service approach is way off, almost like theres a disconnect in connecting or actually understanding and wanting to help. I strongly urge you to stay away and consider a different site/app to sell on. Their fees are not worth it in any way.
Can't wait to get one of their silly responses acting like they care just to save face.

NEVER ORDER FROM THESE AWFUL PEOPLE. I ordered a pair of shoes that I really was desperate to have for a professional photoshoot I needed for my company. Their so-called "quality control" team DAMAGED the shoes and they didn't even bother to tell me. I had to reach out and ask them what the heck was going on. So, sorry but you won't receive your item that you purchased and needed because we made a mistake. I can't even with these people. If I could sue for the treatment I received, especially since I really did need these shoes, I genuinely would. It would be worth it to me to make them pay. They shouldn't be in business.

I bought a bag from this website and it turned out to be fake Fendi bag! I wrote an email to them and they send me shipping label for inspection which I send it December last year it has confirmed that they have received the bag but when I email and even live chat with customer service they keep saying they will get back to me within 3 days and that has been going on since December I have tried multiple times to get responses from them and now Noone is even writing back to me after assuring that they will refund. It's $418.72 and they're not getting back the money I don't know what to. Please help!?

It's an attractive platform because there are so many choices there, and pricing is competitive. And you'd be all good if everything goes smoothly, but in my experience 4 out 5 times, it doesn't.
1. Seller may not ship the item and you get fully refunded - this might take 2 weeks or more to get through, seller gets no punishment for that, and you miss out on exhange of your refund
2. Filtering of the options is very poor, so you may have to scroll through thousands of items to fine a suitable one
3. Setting up alerts for specific works badly - you select specific countries of location, but ones alert is saved, this fitler is ignored, and again you sift through gazillion of irrelevant clothes to find the one you're after.
4. App does not allow to post photos of the items worn, so often very hard to tell how it will fit on the body, especially for a more complex fit items
5. If you are buying something from your own country, but Vestiare doesn't have authentication centre in there, it will trigger duty charges because they will ship it overseas for authentication - for expensive items that means hundreds of dollars extra thus not making it a good platform for shopping locally.
All in all, if you have all the time in the world to search through piles of poorly photographed items, and then to risk not getting it due to non-shipment, this is the right platform for you, because you can get quite good prices for designer items. But if you are short on time, delete this $#*!er from your go-to list of apps.

I was selling and buying on Vestaire for years and never had any issues. However now I think this website is a complete scam, made to defraud you of your money.
I bought a watch from Jaeger LeCoultre and I couldn't tell from the pictures alone if the watch is authentic or not. So I bought the watch with the Authentication service since I thought I'm protected that way.
However, the watch passed their "authentication". When it arrived finally I was shocked to see that this watch was anything but authentic. It was a Frankenwatch with fake straps and a dial. The dial had a TYPO on it, no watch from JLC would have a TYPO ON THEIR DIAL.
I was shocked and contacted Vestaire to return it, one of their customer representatives helped me get the return done. I was a bit relieved after but now they claim the watch is indeed Authentic. Im in disbelief at how unqualified their "Experts" are, every kid can see that the watch is not authentic.
They however keep my money and don't seem to care.
One Month ago I would have recommended Vestaire to you but, since now I experienced how they scam their loyal customers, STAY AWAY!

I bought a louis vuitton via direct shipping. Its a fake. They do not respond to any messages or emails and even delete some conversations so they cannot be used against them. I lodged a dispute with paypal and VC the dirty liars sent me an email the day before the cut off date with paypal saying they were going to start the process for a refund. The day of the cutoff date with paypal, VC sent another email with details of the refund that would appear in my paypal account within 24hrs. So i did not escalate the case before cut off. VC never processed any refund. Liars liars liars! Dont waste your money unless you are willing to risk it!

As a seller, I got my sale cancelled by the quality team and when I tried to understand what happened the customer service team had to escalate it as they didn't understand it neither (all the info was in a description the quality team didn't check at all).
Customer service team takes ages to answer and their answers are never accurate or helpful, they pass the ball from one person to the other and can take weeks for one issue to be sorted.
You get constantly banned from the chat as they use a robot to capture words as simple as 'my details' without reading the context.
Considering their fees are that high would be expected a better service for sellers.
I cannot give my opinion as a buyer.

Recently I tried to buy an item and the seller did not respond/send the item. VC kept me informed, tried to contact the seller and when the item was not shipped by the seller, VC quickly refunded my money and provided me with a small credit towards my next purchase.

Horrible company. Fake merchandise and they scam you send these auto generated emails as though they are working on your issue. I never got the 2nd item and after 3 months the FedEx tracking still says I'm suppose to get my item in December 2022... the WORSE...no one is available to speak with. This is the email they send me every couple of days. It's scam. 1st item was FAKE.
As of the moment, we are still waiting for the result of the requested investigation with the courier.

I am writing to warn you not to shop with this company. I purchased a pair of Hermes sandals through Vestiaire in 2015, they were authenticated as genuine and forwarded on to me. I put them back on the website recently, having not worn them and the pair were then purchased by someone else, sent again to VC's authentication and quality control department. I was surprised to see that they were refused as fake! Not only that, but after a few seemingly positive responses to say they would refund me, now nothing. The process to get my sandals returned is expensive, £15 plus an international transfer fee and I am not sure that'll even happen. So VC now have my property, personally I don't believe they are fake, so what are they up to? They sell items themselves on the site and if I don't manage to get them returned they say they will destroy them within 8 weeks. Simply not the case. Being an international company, they can hide behind generic emails and expensive transfer fees. I have spoken to my bank who has suggested a number of international resolution centres and I am at the point of progressing this because it looks like this is happening far too frequently. They will respond to this complaint with contact details which steer you straight back to their complaints department, full circle and still no resolution. Thoroughly dishonest company, do not use.
