Horrible!

We just left today from a beautiful 9bd, 6 bath home in Orlando. We were there for 8 days. Everyday something went wrong.The house has a game room with arcade games that did not work. Roaches in the kitchen and bedroom. We called management never got a call back. We were waiting for "Nick" to call us back and got the same answer everyday.Ac would not go down or get cold. The front of the stove came off and had to place a chair to hold it up. The house had a theater room that also had a PS4 and Xbox remotes were broken and games were missing. In the pool area the gate for the pool was broken. We found this out when my 5 year old made it to the other side of the pool and was able to fit in between the mesh, luckily we were with him. The dishes were dirty. Bathroom were not cleaned. Trash under one for the beds. Durning a pandemic I would hope cleaning is a priority not the case in this house. Baby gates were broken. High chair did not have safety straps. The list went on and on. No call back from management and we tried to make the best out of it. But I would NOT waste my time or money renting a home from vacasa ever again. We are a family of 8.We have stayed in multiple homes in and out of state and have never encountered so many issues with a home. The houses are gorgeous but not worth the headaches.

They are the worst unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Villa in South Carolina was not clean upon arrival. Housekeeping staff came without gloves and mask and finish the Covid cleaning in 20 minutes! We decided not to take the risk and stay there and VACASA refuses to refund my money, even though they are not compliant with Covid procedures. The manager hung up on me. I have reported this to the health department and the Better Business Bureau

Rented a luxury home on the beach. I had many options, but chose this one because it had an elevator. My wife has medical condition and cannot climb the 3 flights of stairs Got inside the home, immediately checked the elevator, it was broken, did not work. Called vacasa and the reply was the property manager will contact t us within the hour. We called 2-3 times a day every single day of our stay and got the same reply. Noone called, No one came,. No one fixed the elevator. My wife had to sleep on bottom floor, The master bedroom was on the 3 rd floor. Could not have use of the home, only the small floor. What a fiasco! What a sham! I have never, paid over 1,000 dollars a night and had such abysmal lack of concern. No one cared. What was to be a 50th anniversary trip was totally ruined by these people who ignored us our whole stay

This condo, the location, cleanliness, comforts of home, beach & lagoon views, pools & beach access were more than we'd hoped for!
Parking, WiFi & other amenities were on point.
Check in/out & parking/passes were all easy to complete/obtain/access.
The Vacasa customer service team was impeccable throughout the booking process (we had some unforeseen changes from our original booking/ properties & dates, but the three agents we worked with were awesome & made everything hassle free & without worry!
Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in a year riddled with disappointment!

Do not use Vacasa

My name is Sharron A. I have been calling everyday since I arrived at the Majestic in Panama City Beach Florida on Thursday 8/6/2020. I was even instructed to send pictures to Brittany through email. Did that and got no response. When we arrived the condo was nasty. We could not sit on the sofa for it was extremely nasty. You could smell urine in the bath rooms. The bath tub had to to be scrubed down before my family and I could shower. We had to run the the local Walmart to buy cleaning supplies, our linen was not clean linen. We has to sweep, we needed to mop but your mop looks like this whole condo looks, nasty. So we ran out and got socks for our feet. We live to far away to drive back home. One of the beds have to box springs on it instead of a mattress. This unit was not fit to stay in and nobody checked on us. We were told that we would receive the cleaning fee and someone would reach out to me shortly. I will never use Vacasa again, I am reporting Vacasa to the better business bureau. I am also putting this out on yelp, and google. I was hoping to get located to a more decent ace during my vacation, but Vacasa is a koke. I wish I had read views on this company before booking. I knew when Vacasa would not reimbursement my money back after Covic hit, this would be a nightmare. Pictures to follow. And that1 star should be ZERO!

What ever else you do, do not book via this company! We booked a villa back in January 2020, before the Covid-19 pandemic. We were due to stay in Florida in August 2020. In June 2020 our airline cancelled our flights. We immediately cancelled our villa - some 7 weeks before we were due to go. Vacasa didn't respond. Despite numerous attempts to contact Vacasa, we still haven't had a direct response. Then, two weeks before we were due, Vacasa emailed to say they are keeping our money as we didn't cancel with 30 days or more notice. This company are a bunch of charlatans. DO NOT USE.

Terrible communication. Came to our rental in nirthstar. Dirty carpet n walls. Crumbs in utensil drawers. Dirty towels under bathroom sink. Dirty placemats.other guests shampoo left on bathtub shelf. Only about $50 refund with all the fees if I cancelled even during covid 19 two months before we were to arrive. Emailed questions Noone responded till days before arrival. We had already left before then. Not happy for what I paid.

Vacasa is the rental management for my vacation home in Kissimmee. I work with Vacasa after managing my vacation home on my own for two years. I was hoping Vacasa can bring me good revenue and only charge 25% of my total revenue. On the revenue front, I am very disappointed about the booking rate and the overall daily charge they got from booking. With CVOID-19, I decide to sell my property. Vacasa charges me thousands of dollars on the two bookings they have more than a month to move to other property. That is very unreasonable. As a host on booking.com, booking.com work with me on the booking that needs to move. If I give them one month in advance time, they usually move without any charge to host. In that token, Vacasa is a totally rip-off. I will not recommend Vacasa to other vacation homeowners. Beware of their charges. Very high. In fact, it is more than $5,000 higher than you will get in booking.com as your own host. Be aware!

First of all let me say, "I am NOT a Karen".

When we walked into the room it smelled like an ashtray. I understand other people may smoke in their rooms even though this is advertised as non smoking, but it's still rank. I am so glad I brought air freshener. For a no smoking facility it doesn't smell like it.

The door to the room was filthy on the inside and outside. Like no one took the time to wipe anything down especially around the handles. I used Lysol cleaner to clean the door myself. To be honest, I cleaned all hard surfaces including the inside of the dresser, counters, table, refrigerator, and nightstand. My rag was disgusting after doing so. There was some kind of yellow stuff all over the wall between the beds I had to scrub off.

I understand that this is an older building and accept the small bathroom, cracked tiles, and very low shower head, but the curtain dividing the living space from the bathroom space is disgusting. I've tied to back so we don't have to touch it anymore. The openings in the ceiling are concerning too. They are huge.

Don't know what this is on the ceiling in the main living area but it's gross. Some kind of splatter.

I have pictures of some of the issues in this room. You may want to contact the owners to let them know. For the money we paid for the room and fees - it shouldn't be in this shape. It's honestly not worth 1000+$.

Received a phone call from VACASA two hours prior to arrival informing us that they were changing our reservation from a 5 bedroom 4 bath home with a pool and two hot tubs with a large outside seating area to(2) two bedroom one bath condos and one hot tub with an outside table that seats four. Imagine 10 people trying to eat around a small table, use just two bathrooms, one hot tub, and not to mention trying to sleep 10 people(adults) in 4 queen beds.
Various issues with both condos -- broken door on dishwasher, refrigerator seal was coming loose causing the door to stay open and when did get the door to close, the freezer door popped open. Chairs in den had broken legs. Poor water pressure in one of the condos.
Customer service wait time was 45 minutes.
No explanation given nor inconvenience credit given.
Renters beware.

I would not rent from this company whatsoever. It took someone 20 min to answer a text, almost 24 hours via email and 19 min on hole via phone for answers. Stick with Air BB and VRBO. AT least there you can actually communicate with the owners of the properties.

My family and I rented a home just outside of Lincoln City, Oregon the middle of July. When we got there we noticed that the dishwasher had written on it with a marker that it was broken. This was not good since it's in the middle of Covid and we had a large party of people. The home was not clean, so many things I could talk about. There was feces smeared on the wall in the bathroom! There was a note from the cleaning person saying if we ran out of towels there were additional in the dryer. My husband went to get them and they were so packed in there that he could hardly get them out, and still wet! How can they possibly be clean? I've called and called and they promise to have someone call me back and still nothing! I will never rent from this place again and would caution anyone to. Our vacation was to be something good! Two nights and I spent $1563. 00 Very sad!

Had the worst experience with a vacasa rental. I paid over $2000 for 4 nites@ we shell sea rental in Jamaica Beach TX. We had to clean the filth from the tables and counters. We had to was the bed covers, clean the silverware and plates etc. After 3 nites we noticed all the dirt in the a/c return and the fact there was no filter. Then we found old food on pans and pots. This was the last straw. We left that day and all we got was our cleaning fee back. They are not responsible for the rentals they advertise and don't care.

DO NOT RENT FROM VACASA. PLACE WAS NOT CLEAN, EVEN FOR COVID TIMES! A BEER CAN IN OUTDOOR SHOWER, WINE SPILLS ON THE WALLS, SPIDERS AND WEBS IN ALL WINDOWSILLS. DISGUSTING. THE GENERAL MANAGER WAS COMPLETELY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO CALL HER BACK RIGHT AWAY WHEN, AFTER REPEATED REQUESTS, THEY FINALLY AGREED TO COME BACK AND CLEAN. THEN, THEY DIDN'T CLEAN ANYTHING! ALSO FAILED TO GET BACK TO ME ABOUT OTHER QUESTIONS ABOUT MISSING BEACH TOWELS, ETC... WHEN I EMAILED TO ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR TO GET BACK TO ME, I GOT NO REPLY. BY THE WAY, THIS WAS A 3-WEEK RENTAL SO A LOT OF MONEY WAS SPENT FOR THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE! I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO IF I COULD.

The property was great. Perfect location. That's it. I've counted the number of times I reached out for information and important inquires... 13 times. I called 6 times followed by an email. Nothing. I don't understand why a simple call back was so difficult. 2 stars because had I had a serious event happen, the quality of the property wouldn't have counted for anything. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service and communication. Just go with someone else. You'll be happy you did.

If you stay with them just make sure that you do NOT leave anything behind because they will steal your things. My mom forgot a Michael Kors purse at Gleneden Beach, Oregon. When we called to make the report the next day the receptionist mentioned it that they could not go because the owners were at the house and they needed permission from the owners before sending personnel to search for items left behind.

This company will rip you off, charge you exorbitant fees on top of your rental costs and not refund you a thin dime when the state is shut down for COVID-19. I will never use them again. AirBnB is way better. Plus the house rented was old and crappy and the TV and stereo didn't work. I used Vacasa several times when they were a smaller company in Oregon. Now they just suck.

Vacasa overcharges
July 8, 2020

I was a homeowner, and vacasa Made many promises for their exorbitant fee. They promised to take care of my property and to thoroughly check it after renters left for damages. Renters actually damaged my house and stole items and Vacasa never noticed or checked. I only found out after a month of renters had departed. They also charge a 500 monthly fee for maintenance that goes into a black hole. You are basically paying for nothing but online advertising. They will not protect your property. In addition, they will overcharge you for items so watch your bill.

Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service. They don't answer the phone, their "contact" phone numbers lead to voicemail boxes that are perpetually full. They don't enforce any rules. Property is damaged, neighbors are upset. Really an awful company.

Horrible service

My family and I stayed at Laketown Wharf in condo Panama City. We were super humiliated and put out of the hotel by a manager who claims to own the hotel, I don't know his name but he was white, with blue eyes and he was racist. We asked for help with the bracelets to use at the pool and they told us to get bracelets ourselves. Then he called the police to kick us out of the hotel and they were filled ignorance and were very selfish. We were thrown away like trash. Very bad elevators service, is the least problem in our case. Whatever the manager said to the police about us they believed him. They kicked us out, and we are going to look for a lawyer to find our justice for this bad situation! We use the Vacasa company they never available to help us too. Really bad service company
