Horrible

I ordered a 3 lb package from California on the 3rd of October a ship label created on the 4th delivery date was the 9th as of yet have not received it.

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to my apartment in NYC, and I was not around to pick it up. I followed the steps to reschedule this package and the post office filed it as a self pick up not redelivery! I called the USPS to have this fixed and they said they would redeliver it but the day of redelivery came and went and it still was marked as a self pick up. Had to haul a large package through the streets of NYC and up my 5 flight walk up, will tell friends/family to never use USPS to send me anything ever again.

Necessary Service

This review is based on the fact that I pay the Postal Service to perform a specific task, and for the most part, they execute as expected. More recently, we have received other people's mail, which concerns me that I may not be receiving all my mail. Also, what has (in the past) needed a few days to deliver, now is taking over a week. I am hoping the USPS will get it together and find its consistency everyone respected.

The US Postal Service is the worst overnight mail delivery service I have ever used. They will not only get it there late but they won't refund your money!

I have had nothing but bad service from USPS for years. They have lost my mail so many times and when I tell them, they tell me to "contact the seller" and ask for a refund. They take no accountability for their actions. My mail and parcels get rerouted and then I have to wait weeks sometimes. Talking to a agent is like talking to a zombie. It sounds like your talking to the living dead. They try to explain their mistakes by telling you you're wrong and that you should feel sorry for them cause they don't know how to do their job. Louise DeJoy headmaster of USPS should resign as he/she had brought down the postal service to it's lowest depths!

Late shipping

I shipped my package from ******* location with 2nd day delivery option destination is Cincinnati, OH. USPS tracker shows scheduled Delivery by MONDAY 27 by 6:00pm. As of now Wed 9/29, It hasn't arrived at Cincinnati, OH. USPS has a toll free number which is fully automated. You can't reach any human to talk to. Of course, I had to pay premium fee for 2nd day delivery. This is unacceptable. I should have gone with FEDEX. Big mistake.

MORE OFFTEN THEN NOT SEND TO THE WRONG STATION. THEN MORE THEN ONE DAY TO GET BACK ON TRACK! MAKE IT DAYS IF NOT WEEK LATE. I HAD A PACKAGE A MOUNTH LATE. I RECEIVE A REPLACE PACKAGE A WEEK BEFORE IT. I had to seen back! (NOT GETTING BETTER GETTING WORSE!

They are the worst!

Just mailed an envelope this afternoon (Sept 20th) via USPS Priority mail 2 day service from Tallahassee Florida to Miami Florida. It is supposed to arrive no later than Wednesday but when looking at the tracking info they will not be delivering until Thursday. The regular mail arrives faster! What a joke! $8.00 FOR WHAT?!

! since DeJoy as postmaster general took over the post office I mean the service really really sucks! President Biden really needs to get rid of this lowlife!>> the holidays are coming to. Service going to get worst!>>I don't see President Biden doing anything to get rid of this piece of $#*!! Now you pay for priority mail and instead of getting her 3 to 4 days. Now it take's get here 5 to 7 days. Now. You should just pay for regular mail it's going to get here late anyway! Legal extortion! Smfh!

I don't know what's going on at my local post office ******* but the customer service is none existent. The letter carrier on my route rarely puts my main in my mailbox. My neighbor is constantly bringing my mail to me because the carrier puts my mail in their mailbox. Amazon has notified me a few times times that my package was delivered and when I go to mailbox the package isn't there, however the package always miraculously shows up 2-3 hours later inside of an old newspaper box that is on fence and is no longer in service. I have tried to call my local post office and no one answers the phone. I have went to my local post office to speak to management about this delivery issue and they are never available, I'm told to leave my phone number and they'll call me back and they never do.

I ship a lot and experienced all the worst only - lost packages, 1 out of 3 broken and a lot of other fun things. But the best part is their insurance... actually, by the law, they don't have the right to claim that their mail is insured as they don't pay it. In fact, their rate of payment is approximately 1 out of 10 broken items paid. My experience was super negative - I had 10 parcels' contents broken (in spite of the fact they were packed very well and even double-boxed) and my insurance claims were all declined. Then finally they approved one but not for 100 dollars, but for 19.99! I still wonder where that amount came from... one of the latest amazing things was that they managed to break... I still don't believe it... Silverplate teapot! Imagine, they manage even to break metal! And nobody is protected and can do nothing. They ignore your complaints, there is no way to prove your rights or receive compensation. For insurance, they ask you to present the box to the postal office and even if you do so, they will decline it finding a million reasons, like there is no damage to the box or just stating that you put a damaged item in the box already (yes, they stated so once even though I attached the picture of the teapot with no damage how it was before shipping). My advice is... better pay more for shipping, but sleep strong knowing that your parcel is not in the hands of vandals!

USPS THEIVES AT THE USPS SORTING CENTER
We have a drop-shipping business and all of our jewelry in tiny packages comes from China to our customers in the USA and over 50% of our packages get to the USPS Sorting Center and never move from there. We lose TONS of money because the US Postal Workers are stealing these tiny packages. Probably sticking them in their pockets. The USPS is rampant with thieves. We are sick of it!

The postal workers are not scanning in the tracking labels that we PURCHASE! So customers keep calling about why their packages are still in Pre-Transit? How lazy can you be? Also, dont offer priority 2 day and then take 7 to 9 days to get the package to the destination, if you cant deliver, take the option off! If the package gets there damaged, late, or never there, no big deal, why... because the post office doesnt care! Save yourself and your businesses some hassle and frustrations and save yourself from negative review from your customers and switch to UPS and Fedex, worth a little extra cost in the end especially since you have to reship tons of stuff that someone steals or loses!

Liars

When you make a complaint. They wait few days then send you email stating they have done througher investigation and are sorry. They mark it as resolved. When in fact they couldn't care less about you. Twice they have lost. My package and delivered to wrong address. But they will try to tell you that you got your package disgusting service all around. They expect us to accept this service. Who do we go to when you get nothing resolved with them.

Inexcusable
September 4, 2021

I removed my previous post in regards to the USPS. In hopes that they corrected the mishandling of my package. They haven't.
Packed arrived at the Orchard Park facility. 3 days late. 30 mins away from my location. No attempt on their behalf to save their reputation with me.
Still not delivered. I have not been contacted. And the site still shows it as to be delivered. 2 days ago.

Thank you the people at the Springville Post Office in their attempts to help. Not much they could do with others being incompetent and having no care for their long time customer.

Disappointing to say the least..

Terrible Service

USPS should be delisted as a a postal service. Terrible service, and will do anything to not offer a refund. I payed priority express international on an item, for it to arrive in 5 to 7 days to Australia from USA. It somehow got stuck in Chicago for 2 weeks then went to Tokyo Japan for a week before coming to Australia. 4 Weeks to get my item, and the customer service was disgusting. Never again USPS

Lost Again

Package says delivered but NO. Tried to email Customer service and get this reply, Thank you for contacting the United States Postal Service. I now have 3 different occasions of ordering items and did not recieve them when I was supposed to. This is the 3rd time in 3 months that I've had to open an investigation on my items. The first two were for my wedding. The 3rd was for my cousins bridal shower. ALL IMPORTANT ITEMS WERE NOT DELIVERED! Nor was there up to date tracking. My items sat in a facility for God knows how long. I paid extra for shipping to arrive in 2 days and they never showed. Calling doesnt help because the lady that answered the phone had no idea where my items were. One of the items that didnt arrive on time was the backdrop to my wedding arch. That took 2.5 months to even arrive. $200 was completely wasted! USPS is the WORST delivery service! They get paid good money to do apsolutely nothing! I have left 3 bad reviews now and I'm being told that my reviews will be removed because I wont upload proof of purchase to a public website. There were investigations per ALL issues that I've had in which case, I should not have to submit proof of anything. I have a current investigation open as we speak!
