I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with U-Save Car Rental. Pick-up from John Wayne Airport was quick and easy. I had my car within minutes. The car was nearly brand new and in great condition. It also got much better gas mileage than I expected. Returning the car was easy and the shuttle back to the airport was immediate.
We arrived a bit early to collect car, the car was not ready, eventually the car turned up nearly an hour late. It was not the car we had ordered and was a completely beaten up Megane. Literally every panel of the bodywork was damaged. The bonnet, roof, everything. This inside was ok and mechanically the car was ok. So after the initial shock, we got on with our trip in the full knowledge that we could not make the car any worse. Strangely we became fond of the car and was sad to see it go! It was a good car and we didn't have to worry about it for a single moment

The price is good; the car was clean and new; the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Slight issue was I didn't realize the pick-up/drop-off was off-site from the off-site location. So once you take the shuttle from the airport to the car rental pavilion (where all the rental car companies are located) you have to call to get another shuttle to take you to U-Save. Just a minor inconvenience that was an extra 20-30 minutes. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Punto Noleggio NON agevole per l'ubicazione più lontana dall'aeroporto rispetto alla maggior parte degli altri auto-noleggio.
Al desk ritardi nell'accettazione del versamento / caparra per scadenza della mia carta di credito entro 2 mesi dalla data di noleggio (per pochi giorni) e NON accettazione di poter saldare con Bancomat o contanti o utilizzo della carta di credito di mia moglie
Ciò ha comportato necessità di pagamento di un'assicurazione Kasko per i 3 giorni previsti del noleggio con un esborso molto maggiore del previsto!
Ritiro auto poi NON agevole: parcheggiata anche lontano dal punto di noleggio...

Excellent customer service. I called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to get me a car for that day. I also wasn't going to be able to get there until close to their closing time and they had all of the paperwork filled out when I got there. Their prices are very affordable.

The shuttle driver and the counter staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a short line when we arrived but they quickly processed our reservation and supplied us with a wonderful SUV that made touring Puerto Rico a pleasure despite the numerous speed bumps on some of the back roads.

The gentleman at the service desk was professional and friendly. He got me a rental with the extra space I needed for my mom's wheelchair. He also helped me choose the correct extra insurance coverage for my rental so I wouldn't have to use my personal insurance for any claims. The cost for everything was more than reasonable and included the additional insurance coverage. I would have given 5 stars but the after hours return instructions were unclear and incomplete and wasn't executed well on the return end.

I was offered a toll pass for $10,00 a day on my rental; I decined, then ended up on a toll highway with no signs to notify me. I ended up with the $50.00 fine. Would be nice if this fee per day be lowered or a way to not have to pay the $50.00 fine.

In Puerto Rico, many highways use an automated toll system, and when a vehicle passes through without an activated toll pass, the toll authority applies a penalty fee directly to the rental. As these charges come from the toll system itself, we’re required to pass them along.
