The overall reputation of UPS is marred by significant concerns regarding service reliability and customer support. Many customers report frequent delays in package delivery, errors in shipping, and inadequate responsiveness from customer service representatives. Complaints highlight issues with lost packages, unfulfilled delivery promises, and a lack of accountability, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction. While some customers acknowledge the company's long-standing presence in the industry, the prevailing sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, with calls for improved communication and service efficiency. This feedback suggests that UPS must urgently address operational shortcomings to restore customer trust and satisfaction.

Very poor customer service. They knock once and leave. Call their number, no help at all. Very bad experience!
Paid for over night shipping. I got conformation my package was out for delivery never came. Called the next morning now they saying its in the wrong location and it will be tomorrow thus is the 3rd time this has happened to me... They dont have any pride in what they do...
In the past several months, UPS has misplaced or lost a number of our packages.
I now DO NOT BUY ONLINE from companies that use UPS for shipment. However, I made a mistake, bought something on Costco.com and have wasted hours of my time trying to find a package that was marked delivered but was not delivered.
I do not like thieves, and I do not like liars.
The driver did not deliver the package at the stated time. We know because we were on our front porch at that time and there was no UPS truck and no package. We also asked some of the neighbors and none of them saw a UPS truck during the time that the package was allegedly delivered.
I spent hours on the phone on Saturday evening, and even cancelled our dinner plans in an attempt to resolve the issue. I spoke with a supervisor by the name Joy who lied to me.
First of all, she said that the driver is under investigation and so is the location of my package. That was a lie because I found out on Monday that no case was even opened.
She told me that she or another supervisor will contact me on Monday with an update - another lie. No one called and there was no update because there was no case.
The third lie was that she will inform Costco that the package was not delivered. She never did.
Finally, I was told that UPS has contacted Costco, which of course was a lie, since Costco has not gotten any communication from UPS regarding the package.
The fact that there is no way for a customer to escalate issues such as this occurrence and the fact that the only recourse is to interact with a dummy on the website or if one is lucky and tenacious enough with a very reluctant agent on the phone (after hours of waiting) is not acceptable.
Made 4 calls to ups help line to just to remind them for collection of my parcel as it happened last time that driver forgot to pick up. Today after calling the help line about 4 time even before the collection time, i ended up getting call by helpline saying sorry driver said collection tried at 5:15 but parcel is not ready. This was a clear lie as we were waiting for the driver from 1 o clock to collect.
I don't really leave reviews as I'm a service provider my self but it really feels bad when people start neglecting work which should be done on time and making excuse or lies just not do to there job properly.

Abdul
Store 5647@ 2129 FM 2920-Sprng, TX-my husband, who is a Navy Seal Disabled Veteran went in the store to get something notarized and Scott said he could not sign it because the document was "filled" out. The document was NOT signed, just the other information. Then when my husband asked if he can print it out and fill it out in front of him, he had a bad attitude. When our daughter in law came in to sign the document, she showed him a picture of her drivers license, Scott said he would not accept that, then my son was getting his license out to show him, Scott closed his notary book and said he won't notarize anything. Thanks to Scott, we missed our deadline because we had to go to H‑E‑B and get it notarized. Scott is bad for business, but the reviews for this store is a disgrace for the UPS name. Will be calling corporate.
Ups work like sh1t. I waited all day they didn't ring the doorbell and said, no one is home. No, sorry sh1t because sh1t is better than ups
My package is now 5 days late. I assume it'll be another 2 to 10 days before I either get it or I get some email from the supplier that my package was lost. Somehow the package originally was in my state, was set to be delivered on time, then ended up in Las Vegas. It took another 3 days to get back to my state. It has been sitting in whatever warehouse-sorting facility for 2 more days. Absolute knobs, every single one of them. FedEx is vastly better.
If i could put zero stars I would. The delivery drivers have left my mother's insulin deliveries sitting in the driveway the last two times it was delivered. This time even using the 1400 dollars' worth of insulin is in question as it was left sitting in the sun. The delivery location is always set to Front Door and both times they have literally just thrown the package off the truck and into the ditch beside our driveway. I have tried contacting customer support about this on multiple occasions and if I can get to an actual person, they always hang up on me. They are always incredibly rude and customer blame even when it is obvious the driver is at fault for a damaged package when he tosses it off the truck like a football.
The dude delivering my package didnt even knock on the door. Just got the we missed you thing. And now it won't be at the pick up point till about another 2 days where I'll be gone. Terrible service.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery company. I was supposed to have my wedding flowers delivered and nobody even made an attempt despite being guaranteed by multiple customer service representatives that they would arrive that day. The delivery centre even called me to confirm my address and they never showed up. I called back today and they had the gall to say they had attempted. Apparently a phone call counts as a delivery attempt. Customer service reps while trying their best are actually useless because they have no contact with the warehouses. You have no recourse and no information beyond what is updated every 5 hours on the track my package website. They are unreliable. The ONLY thing a delivery company really needs to be. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. For the people on the back that didn't hear me... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I travel a lot for work I keep my address at my daughter's house for a home base, so I ordered from Amazon and the Amazon hubs have been popping up everywhere, so UPS is the one that delivers, I've done it once in the last 3 months and they could not deliver it I assumed it was because it was a 2-foot TV speaker and it was too big okay fine, undeliverable had it sent to my daughters, second I ordered a very small part about the size of a woman's hand for my car and it got delivered to the Hub at the store up the road. I just ordered a small RV bathroom sink and a bottle of RV sewage cleaner and it was undeliverable, they said they couldn't find it, the Hub at a store in the small town right in the middle big box in the front they wouldn't do it again so I never got to receive my items, what the hell it's got to be The Driver I don't understand it. So needless to say UPS is really pissed me off and I'll find other ways to receive items even if I have to wait to go home to get them
I placed an order with a company that uses UPS for shipping. I received an email from UPS stating my parcel was on it's way and that a signature was required for delivery. The email indicated that I could sign online for the parcel. I clicked the link but was unable to log onto my account. Attempts to get my username and/or password were unsuccessful since I received no emails after requesting them. After a very long and frustrating phone call I was able to open a new account only to find that I still could not sign for the parcel. Two more frustrating calls later I was told that the parcel did not need to be signed for. So, in other words I wasted a whole lot of time and sanity for nothing. Following the final phone call I stayed on the line to do the short survey to let them know what I thought of their company. While doing the survey I got a recording saying that the survey system was experiencing technical difficulties and that I could not complete the survey. The entire experience was full of "technical difficulties" including the fact that I could not hear any of the customer service people properly. I called the company I ordered from to let them know about my experience and I could hear that customer service person just fine. So the problem was not on my end.
Just got fired yesterday because they said I was being slow when they had put me in a loading trailer when someone else messed up the boxes they going to ask me how I like the job then 5 mins later let me go when I always show up 30-40 mins before work and work my $#*! off Buh Yeha can't complain right when u see other people doing a slow $#*! job and I'm the one to get let go it's whatever at this point. I never stole or did nothing I always will try and ask questions if not do it by myself to show I belong there.
They sent me proof of Delivery that was Received by a person on 10/08/2022 at 18:06 PM, I called them
Because I did not get it. Today 11/08/2022 they change their status to waiting to pick up from their location.
The location is so far from my address and why they told me to pick it up.
Until now 4:22 PM I don't have a solution for this issue.
Thanks

UPS clearly knows nothing about customer service!
Package delivered and signed for in a town 80 miles away from where I live, and I was told they recycle the tracking numbers and it's still on it's way, god only knows the route it took because it's not here!
Needed to receive passport for work. Apparently UPS delivers business addresses first and, even though you are told overnight shipping is to be delivered by 12:00, the driver said residential packages have to wait their turn after businesses receive their shipments. It was after 4:00 before it FINALLY was delivered. Today it is 7:30 and another overnight package has not arrived. What a farce of a company.
UPS never deliver something!
I had the same problem with UPS delivery about 20 times. Every time I was at home, when driver called by Intercom I opened door, but driver was lazy to go upstairs and wrote that I am not at home. Once I was waiting at home 2 days in row, but both days driver didn't go upstairs and wrote that I was not at home.
UPS made also fraud and made tremendous disaster to me in 2016. I cancelled delivery of item which I didn't order and for which my credit card was fraudulently charged $300, cancelled 2 days before delivery date, but UPS ignored my cancelation and delivered it, left it to neighbors who signed. And the main trouble was that I received message about delivery just when was talking with US Supreme Court about the main case of all my life, case about tremendous and unprecedented crime and tragedy and extremely severe injuries made to me by corrupted NYC officials, case which I proceeded 7 years. I lost this case and many millions dollars compensation, lost because of UPS.
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. The amount of issues I have had with UPS and lost packages, one after another and the CONSTANT delays in packages. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE. Very difficult to get a hold of any customer service representative unless you have the store's direct number (and even that is sometimes hard to obtain). There is no follow up or accountability when there are issues with a package, and it is complete $#*!!
I'm a programmer for a start up company based out of California. I ordered a very important piece of hardware for work that needed to be delivered on the day it was set to be here. Saw that the delivery would be handled by UPS, oh no... I made a joke over dinner about how I needed to stay downstairs all day to make sure I would be able to catch them before they tried to leave without delivering my package. The next day, I spent the full morning waiting for the UPS truck to arrive. I watched the truck arrive, pull into the driveway, the driver step out, walk up to my front door, slap a "We missed you!" label on the door, and drive off, all before I could open the door to get his attention. This company is unreal, it is universally known that this will happen multiple times in a row. I have nightmares every time I see they are the carrier for my packages. STAY CLEAR OF THEM.
UPS is poorly managed from the top down. This level of consistent incompetency is a culture motivated by greed. There clearly is no quality and pride in performance, only high volume at any cost. If there was a poster child for "Hack services" it would be UPS. UPS must create millions and millions of dollars' worth of damage weekly and they just don't care, and just keep doing it. The items they just delivered to my home looked like the opening scene to dumb and dumber. Shame on you UPS.
Answer: Because there is ZERO accountability at UPS and they dont care about customers or having business ethics. Answer my question if you can.(Click on my profile and see it)
Answer: Because the management orders the people under them to do it, so it looks good on UPS. And most customers dont bother to complain or write reviews.
Answer: It's driver preference and they don't care. I complained about this. I'm constantly getting medical supplies delivered and they don't care
Answer: Because they don't care! For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody uses them as a delivery service.
Answer: Because they are a very poorly run company. It doesn't even run its offices domestically well, as you can see by the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this site. Use any shipping service over UPS.
Answer: UPS is a disgrace. They are a disregardful and careless business who lies to their costumers. Absolutely will not support ever again!
Answer: Sadly, today the term racist is used to define almost anyone that we disagree with. I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
