I had an issue with my delivery being misdelivered so I contacted customer service. They immediately refunded my money. The representative I spoke with was extremely helpful even though the misdelivery was not their fault at all and more than happy to compensate me. I can't say enough good things about Maura, the representative I spoke with, and their customer service.
Saw something of theirs via an ad and spontaneously ordered a gift for a friend. A couple weeks later Unique Vintage contacted me to let me know the order had been delayed because the shipment had been damaged, when they expected to have the new order shipped, and offering to cancel if that was a problem. Since the gift was time sensitive I decided to cancel. They responded immediately with a full refund and then an offer code for 15% off my next order. I have never shopped Unique Vintage before but I also have never received such prompt and considerate customer service. Pretty sure I've never had a company reach out to ME about delayed shipping! This was a impulse buy but now I'll for sure be returning to shop at Unique Vintage. A company that truly cares is nearly impossible to find these days; their cute inventory is the cherry on top!
So after leaving my review, UV sent me an email expressing their concern about the service I received. They also sent me a coupon code to make things better.

I love the variety of clothes available but my gripe is the terrible customer service. Email response time is terrible... literally a day or two after the fact and their shipping... the worst in the business. Their site says handling time is 48hrs which is not true. I ordered my product on a Thursday and my order didnt ship till the following Wednesday for a delivery date of the Thursday after that... and we're in the same state as UV! Literally an hr away.
My profession is in the logistics industry and to see this lack of appreciation for their customers is appalling. I hope they figure it out soon...
Miss Maura is very good at responding and helping me find a solution to whatever it is I need, whether it's a shipping or manufacturer question. I've never had a problem with the quality of clothing, or the sizing, because I always read the clothing information they provide on the product. Unique Vintage is my go to website for pretty, retro clothing. Their reward system is also pretty sweet. Definitely recommend them.
A family member of mine passed away yesterday morning and a s it turns out I have no black or dark clothing suitable to wear to a funeral. I'm a US size 26 and I don't live in or near a major city and I have a very particular sense of style so online is my only option of ever buying clothes really. I was able to find a lovely dress and offer rushed shipping, hoping it would arrive in time.
That was a mistake.
I got an email notifying me of tracking only a few hours after ordering and discovered the dress would be arriving a day late. I called the customer service line as soon as I was able and was quickly on the line with a representative named Alex. I explained to her my situation and, even though I knew it was unlikely, I ask if the shipping could be amended or if I could cancel and reorder. She was very kind and incredibly helpful and was able to get me faster shipping on my dress. She even followed up the next day after it was delivered to make sure it got to me, which was very sweet of her.
I'm grateful to Alex and the whole Unique Vintage team for being so helpful!
Beware, folks. You better LOVE that dress and shirt you purchased from Unique Vintage. I made a mistake of buying these items from their web site. Big mistake. Their sizing is wacky, and their return policy is ghastly. It was a "FINAL SALE," which means I can't even return said items for a bigger size. I doubt this shop is going to stay in business very long with such stringent policies.
My order came on time, the dress I ordered was the same as on the website. I'm very pleased and have recommended them to other people, I will order in the future.

Okay so here's the thing - their sizing can indeed be a little off, but the plus size ones always are for me anyway. But the customer service is excellent. I placed my first order with them last week and got it in two days, only to find out I didn't fit the size of one of the items. When I started the make a return, they give you INSTANT refund on the website if you just want to swap it out for something else! Which I did, and received the replacement again in 2 days. Phenomenal.
What happened this morning was I meant to order $112 worth of clothing in monthly payments. I accidentally paid for the whole thing and immediately started to panic. I got on instant chat with Maura Cardona and she INSTANTLY canceled it and explained how could immediately replace the order with the monthly payments. It was so fast and easy that I probably didn't spend more than 5 minutes stressing. And at 845 in the morning? That was awesome.

I'm a pretty thick girl. I ordered some clothes. 200 dollars worth of clothes and not a single thing fit. Not even close. The shoes were also 2 sizes to small to what it was suppose to be. All the clothes fit like it would be a 1x and I had ordered a 3x. For the price I would expect it to be closer in size but it was so far from the real deal that it was sad. Why can't chubby girls have cute things as well. Really sad.
I decided to try this company after much indecision. The clothes aren't "cheap" so I was very leery. I should have gone with my gut and all the reviews saying how terrible customer service is. I bought 2 items, at $176, and the one item, a skirt, never came with the top it was suppose too. I returned both items, due to the skirt having no top and 2 buttons on the other were missing or lose. I went through their process of getting the return label and dropped off to FedEx myself. FedEx SHOWED me it was returned, yet Unique is saying I have to work with FedEx because they have no record. Right. They have been nothing but rude and unhelpful sending snippy emails even when I show proof I have spoken to FedEx. DO NOT TRUST THEM! And as a side note... the 2 things that actually did come in... DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $176.00, but I would have kept and sold at a yard sale to at least get SOMETHING back!

I couldn't be more thrilled with the customer service at UV. I made ordered the dream dress I've wanted for months. I somehow entered my email address incorrect when I placed my order. I contacted customer service and Maura helped me fixed the mistake. When I got the dress it was too small. Again customer service to the rescue! Maura again took care of helping me get the return label to the correct email and helped make the exchange seamlessly. KUDOS to you Maura and UV all together! The girl gets her dream dress <3
I had an issue with a dress I ordered and the customer service representative that helped me was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Not only did she take care of getting me a replacement dress, she gave me excellent fashion advice. My new dress arrived in record time for my event.
Terrible Service!
I purchased several items and paid for express shipping. It has been over two weeks! I have attempted to contact UV via email and phone numerous times and have gotten zero response. I am beyond frustrated! I will never order from this site again.
I bought a dress from this site and I have no complaints. The dress looks exactly like the picture and fit true to size. The shipping was fast and I received my order in a little over a week. I've gotten so many compliments and I feel like a Disney princess. If you read the dress descriptions they let you know if it runs big or small and if the material has any stretch so you can make a better informed purchase. I would give this site a try despite some of these bad reviews, the dresses are too pretty to pass up
Noch nie habe ich mit einer Firma so schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht, wie mit Unique Vintage.
Am 20. Jan. 2019 bestellt hieß es zunächst, die Lieferung erfolge innerhalb von 10-20 Tagen, zudem hieß es, ab einem Wert von 150 Euor müsse kein Versand gezahlt werden. Trotz einer Bestellung von 170 euro musste ich 15,50 Euro Versand bezahlen. Zudem hieß es auf einmal, die Hose sei nicht Lieferbar und alles werde zusammen versandt.
Meine Bitte, die Bestellung zu stornieren, da ich das Kleid für einen besonderen Anlass benötigt hätte, wurde nicht angenommen.
Heute, den 16.04.2019 - nahezu drei Monate später ist das Paket angekommen. Hierauf musste ich noch Zollsteuer von 67 Euro bezahlen - darauf hat mich keiner hingewiesen und ich habe keinerlei Hinweis auf der Website gefunden.
Diese Firma ist für mich absolut unten durch, dies werde ich auch an meine Bekannten weiter geben.

I ordered a beautiful 1940's style red strapless dress for a special occasion. It was on final sale. It said it came with a bolero. I received it and it did not have the bolero. I called Unique Vintage. They didn't seem to apologetic. And they found out they no longer had the bolero or any bolero in any size. I checked after I spoke with them and they are still selling this set! They did not offer me a coupon for the hassle or anything to maybe make this experience a little easier to deal with. They sent me a shipping label and said within a week I'd have my money back. I really would expect more from a company, especially since now I have to hurry and find another formal dress before I can even get my money back in order for a new dress to show up on time. This was my first time ordering and my last.
Although I wasn't happy with my recent purchase, the customer service was great and quick! Much appreciated!

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
