This is my favorite store! I lived in LA for years and discovered this gem there, and when I moved to NYC, I continued shopping online. I love every piece I've ever gotten, all with a classy, vintage flair. The pieces truly are unique and very well-made, they do fun collaborations to produce items that have themes like Disney or Coca-Cola for example, and every time I wear one someone asks where I got it from! I also recently had to re-route an item and Maura from their customer service genuinely went above and beyond to help me get the items when they got stuck by no fault of the company's. When I was in LA and shopped at the store in person, their staff seriously makes you feel like a princess and I always left in a great mood with a great purchase. HIGHLY recommend this amazing store for its quality, beautiful items, and for the incredible customer service in-person and thousands of miles away!
I wanted to return a dress that was stitched poorly (fabric bunched near the zipper which created a hump on my back when wearing the dress) but was told I couldn't return it because it didn't fall within their return policies. Their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. I was told that my body is the reason the dress doesn't fit right. Blaming the customer is the fastest way to lose one.
I ordered a dress for a 20's themed event (they have the cutest things on their website) and even threw in a random headband because it was so adorable!
I upgraded shipping to allow for the turnaround as the event was the upcoming weekend. Well, a week went by and my tracking had still not been updated by FedEx.
I'm not really sure what happened (doesn't really matter to me, since they fixed it), but customer service couldn't have been more helpful! They were quick to respond and refund as I no longer needed the dress!
While I do wish I would have received the dress I ordered in a timely fashion, the handling of my issue was amazing and they have not lost me as a customer! How could they--their stuff is too cute!
I am loving the two outfits I purchased. Perfect for swing dancing. I received my merchandise within a week of my order. One recommendation is to read reviews on sizing. I had one top that was a bit snug but I ignored the review.

After receiving my order there was a production error in one of the dresses (one who was final sale and not eligible for return) But customer service answered quickly and after seeing photos of the fault they reimbursed me the full amount without me having to send the dress back.The other two dresses I ordered were beautiful (and without fault). But I have to applaud customer service for their quick and generous solution.
This was my second big order and unfortunately USPS lost my package. I contacted their customer service immediately and they took care of dealing with USPS that dat. They also resent my order with no issues. Many of the pieces I purchased were seasonal so I was pretty bummed when I thought they wouldn't get here till after the holiday. But due to their quick work I've been able to enjoy my new looks in plenty of time. They were quick, easy, professional and had great attitudes about the whole thing. I feel even more confident purchasing from here and feel good about who I'm supporting! 10/10 customer service experience.
I am thrilled to have found Unique Vintage! I ordered 3 dresses and a cute wide patent belt. Everything arrived earlier than promised and the items were exactly as stated on the site. In the end, I needed to send two back (not because anything was wrong, I just wasn't sure which dress I wanted when I placed my order). I emailed for the return process instructions at roughly 6:30 a.m. CST; I never dreamed I hear back so soon. By 7:15 I had return instructions and link to my label in my inbox! I would order again and again! I have trouble with sizes, I am 46 years-old, 5 feet tall and about 90 pounds, cloth shopping is a challenge. These dresses ran true to XS sizing and fit like a dream, I wish I could have kept them all!
I needed a few accessories to go with the gorgeous Flapper dress I bought at Unique Vintage, to wear at a Flapper Ball that's coming up this year, so I got a beaded ring in the same colors. Unfortunately, when the ring arrived, it was damaged.
I hopped online to let them know what happened, and in No Time At All they are sending me a replacement ring - Just Like That! That's what I call FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Let me tell you, I got home so excited to see my goodies, after working what felt like a million years this season (retail) and I couldn't find it anywhere.
I checked tracking and it said chantilly Virginia (WHERE EVEN IS THAT) I live in Alabama (not so close). So I took a screen shot and sent an email with it (I honestly was so tired I barely remember doing it, reading back I could have been more pleasant, but I wasn't mean. Just confused lol.
These gals emailed me back in a great timely fashion and said i was given the wrong tracking information on accident, and provided me with my correct tracking. You ladies are wonderful all the time! And you made my confusion go away with your prompt response time. I can't wait to receive my items!
I'm a regular e-commerce shopper and I was hesitant to try a company I had never shopped with before. But I fell in love with a dress that was on sale. I couldn't find my tracking number for delivery so I emailed customer service. I wasn't expecting a response, but I was extremely surprised that within minutes I had a response from a real person and the link to my tracking. OK... so I was pretty nervous about reaching out to customer service for a dress. I was outside my 30 days because I bought a dress as a reward for my weight loss. I didn't realize the dress was faulty until about 2 months later. When I reached out and told them about what happened, they asked for pictures and without hesitation, came to the rescue. I purchased this Velvet gown for a special Autumn feast ceremony. I ordered an XL which was a bit large but I took it in and it fits like a glove now. Im almost 6 feet tall and the dress reached the floor which was perfect. Everyone at the event was gushing about the dress. Its so glamorous and compliments a voluptuous body. I had a great experience shopping at Unique Vintage. Usually ordering dresses online to ship across the country. ( chicago) can be frustrating and a risk. But this was easy and Im very satisfied.
I received a broken mug, because of transit. After emailing the images, they sent a replacement with better padding and expedited shipping. The mug arrived in time for a friend's birthday gift and i am impressed with how nice Unique Vintage customer service was! I could reach on the phone AND email. I'm a happy customer.

First their clothes are amazing. Great quality every single time. I've bought swimsuits, dresses, skirts from here and get tons on compliments. I was browsing their site and saw a skirt I really wanted for my office Christmas party. But waited a bit and it was no longer in the new releases section. I couldn't find it anywhere on the site. I emailed customer service and they offered to help me find it. I happened to have a picture of it saved and the customer service rep went and found it for me! AND I told her it was a dress when technically it was a skirt and she still took her time to locate it for me. So I ordered immediately.
I was a little unsure about ordering due to size listings. Needless to say I ordered and received a piece that needed to be returned. I was offered store credit, and after some deliberation and searching found an item I thought would work. Unfortunately size was an issue again. With the return of this item, I have been not clearly provided how my refund would come. I responded to an email received from them only to get a message that they are the 'return service' and cannot provide further information on how I will get my refund. After calling today, the customer service rep indicated that they 'should be getting my package later today" which is weird because the email I received last week indicated they already had it. Customer service is unable to tell me how I will get my refund and I am expected to call back in 7-10 business days to find out, or wait for an email. Seems like there is a lot of mixed messages I am getting and cannot still be provided insight on my refund. I certainly hope it is not with store credit---- I don't see myself purchasing from this site again.

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
