I came here to look for a prom dress. This website is probably one of my most trusted "prom" website on the internet. The website isn't a scam like other fake, cheap, or chinese websites. The discounts are exceptional. They have THE BEST COSTUMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD ON THE INTERNET.
I originally ordered a pre-order dress which, to my disappointment, the manufacturer didn't make it anymore. They called me and ask if I want my money back (full refund) or if I want to get another dress. So I did. They upgrade my free ground-shipping into express 3-Day. When I got the other dress, it didn't fit so I returned it to them. I exchanged it for a different dress (since I've found something better) and once again, they upgraded my shipping! I am so thankful for their wonderful service! I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS WEBSITE TO ALL MY FRIENDS. THIS SITE IS TRULY A LIFE-SAVER. AWESOME PRICES. I CAN HONESTLY SAY MY PROM DRESS that costs $178 looks better than my friend's dress which costs $325!

I was so excited that I found some swimsuits that cover my lower stomach. I ordered my items on 3-27-14. Today is 6-2-14. I received 1 piece of my 2 swimsuits last week. Where the f#### the rest of my stuff. I'm completely furious with this company. I've ordered stuff from China and got it delivered to my house in a week in a half. That must convince you that this site is trash!

So I decided to call customer service. If that is what you call it. Even though they claim to be in business hours, I get getting the recording saying they weren't open. Then finally I got through to listen to 15 minutes of classical music. I never heard once, "all operators are currently busy we will help you as soon as we can." Or anything even close to the sort.

I would never trust them to order my prom dress or wedding dress/ bridemaids dresses. That would be sooooooooooooooo awful to know your big day was about to happen and no dress.

If I could give them lower than a 1 rating I would.

Terrible customer service! They hide their return policy under several layers of pages, and then claim it was visible. It's also not the same policy on their shipping labels or invoices that they claim to have posted on the site.

Very misleading. There's no way a $50 fee for returning an unworn dress, within 5 days is acceptable. Steer clear and shop at Nordstroms for the same designers at cheaper prices with far better customer service.

Bought a beautiful red dress, the shipping was fast, everything went fine. Receive a dress... about 3 sizes too small. What the hell? The sizing chart they provided is absolutely NOT accurate. I have 30 inch waist and 36 barely B cup boobs and I couldn't even get the dress to meet in the back on my chest area. Very, very, very disappointed and will not be shopping with them ever again and will warn all my friends. I am in Canada so shipping the dress back is pretty much pointless.

I have shopped with unique vintage many times in the past, without much of a problem. But have never purchased clothing from them. Their prices are much higher then other vintage sites so I purchase the same thing for cheaper on other sites. But besides that I received a dress for Christmas from UV. The dress first of all was extremely small. When I went to return it, they informed me they had a 30 day return policy for CHristmas and this dress had been ordered on the 10th of December. I had to rush it back to them and it was delivered according to USPS on January 6th. I contacted UV to see what was going on in regards to my return and see how long it would take. They informed me they had never heard of this order could not find my email address or the email address my aunt used to order the dress. We are currently in talks with them to find another way to find it, but for some reason I get the vibe that we will never see the 110$ again. This company is so out of date on their return and shipping policies that it is like dealing with a fake company in china on Ebay. I would never recommend shopping with them again you aren't getting a deal, and 90% of their clothing is available on other sites for better deals ( with free returns and capable customer service reps). As someone who has worked in online retail customer service and tech assistance, this is the worst place if you need help.

The information breached contained customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers and credit card numbers. No other information was compromised.

I had my credit card number stolen, then in August that person used my credit card to purchase hundreds of dollars of workout equipment. Went through hell getting it all fixed. NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE, you had malware on your computer for over a YEAR! Inexcusable!

I had a wonderful experience with this website! I ordered my grad dress on Monday and received it on Thursday in perfect condition. When I first looked into ordering from this website, I wasn't sure because there were a few reviews about the security of their website not being trusted, or their employees not being very helpful. To avoid these problems I called their number and ordered online through the phone, (telling them the code number of the dress etc...) They were extremely helpful when ordering and really quick!

I recommend ordering over the phone to reduce the possibility of the security breach.

I ordered a dress in my size according to the measurements on the sizing chart. When i received the dress, it did not fit the way the sizing chart promised and would not zip up once it got to my bust, and i made sure the measurement for the bust was bigger on the sizing chart because i did not want this to happen. My dress looked cheap, but similar to the picture. I probably will never buy another dress again from this website, however, i would go there again, but only for the jewelry. My credit card number was stolen after using this website and somebody was making fraudulent charges.

I ordered a dress from Unique Vintage, everything on that end went fine, dress was as described and arrived fine. The real issue is I don't think their site is secure at all as now about 2 weeks later some one is using my credit card to make fraudulent charges. I am planning to contact the business (their customer service is closed on weekend), but will not order from them again as their security is not up to par, especially seeing I am not the only person with this issue.

I am pretty positive I had my credit card number stolen from an employee at Unique Vintage. I ordered a dress from their online store in July, and a friend ordered something a few days later. Recently we were both informed that fraudulent charges were made on those cards. The only overlaps we had with places we shopped were at Unique Vintage and Wal-Mart. It doesn't take much to put two and two together to figure our where our credit cards were stolen, considering if it were Wal-Mart it would be national news.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Although both of our banks discovered the charges fast enough to prevent our bank accounts being wiped out, I will never again trust Unique Vintage with my personal information and will never again shop from them.

Please note that this review only applies to their online shop. Their physical shop may be more trustworthy, but I would still not risk it.

I ordered a bathing suit, hat, and earrings from this website for vacation. Only took about a week for my order to come in. I really liked how they list all the measurements so you know it'll fit. Loved the suit... howeverrr a week after ordering from this site my debit had fraudulent charges on it and I am positive this site was the cause as I had not used my card at all afterwards. Their servers are NOT SECURE! Its a shame you can't buy anything offline anymore.

I bought a prom dress from this site. I was worried about ordering it because I noticed so many negative reviews. I took my chances and ordered the dress anyway. It came intact and ready to wear! I got tons of compliments on my dress. What's best is that I only paid 100 dollars for it. There are great deals and the arrival of the package was on time -- I live on the north east of the United States, which means my dress traveled across the country.
I promised my friend that I would make this review because mostly people that have had bad experiences rate because they want to warn people of their bad experience. I'm making this review to let people know that there are also good experiences with Unique Vintage.

This site is terrible! Two years I have tried to order from them. They wait a couple of days and call to tell me the dress I ordered is not available (even if it says it is)! I will not be ordering from them again. I found the same dress on another site and they shipped it within hours of me ordering it! Beware if you want a dress. You need to call them to make sure it is in stock. I don't know if that will even help because I called before I ordered my dress to get the measurements right.

I bought the eggplant flirty cotton swing dress for a wedding. Although I do like the dress, I don't think it's worth the price. The material feels cheap. The description claims that the bodice has "boning" but it does not. The zipper in the back is cheap, and really hard to zip up, even when it's not on you.

The dress was also much longer than pictured. And even though I got a slip that's two inches longer than the slip they show in the picture, it was not long enough to show through on the bottom (like it does in the picture).

I tried posting my review on the website, but it was never approved. Apparently they'll only allow a review if it's a good one.

Shipping was very fast. I like that they have unique dresses on here, I just wish it was better quality for the price.

I have never been so unsatisfied with a website in my life. Their return policy is a joke. I have communicated with their customer service representatives on several occasions and have never felt like they had any interest with what I was saying. I find having to pay to ship back an item that did not work out for me is absurd. But I understand the means of small businesses; The real absurdity is the fact I will be refunded LESS shipping. This means I will be paying at least twenty dollars for any item I ever purchase from their website even if I don't keep it. Also, my return has somehow been lost in the mail. It is now completely up to me to track down my item and spend all day on the phone with the post office. I don't I will ever see the 100+ dollars I gave to Unique-Vintage.com Don't bother with this website, go somewhere with a better return policy and prices such as Modcloth.com or Shopruche.com.
