I ordered a swimsuit for vacation, and purchased 3 day shipping to ensure I'd have it on time. When suit arried it had large area along side seam that didn't get sewn. So big hole! I emailed customer service, very u happy. And they quickly threw out ideas of how to make it right. They wound up overnighting swimsuit to the resort we are staying at. Prompt correspondence, amazing customer service, love the product! Thank you
I bought one dress, I loved it! But for Canadians it is far too expensive I was disappointed when I had to pay almost the cost of the dress on import taxes! I have bought somethings coming from the States and the cost is not that much. I wish the store would have a Distributor in Canada. A pity because I love their dresses but too expensive just because they come from the States...
I will never again order from unique vintage, as it was one of my worst experiences with online shops. Their clothes are nice, but it is totally not worth the hassle and stress with unique vintage staff.
First, I got incorrect dress (totally different color, size, style than I ordered). As I am from Europe, I paid a big tax for a piece of clothing which I will never wear. I emailed them and got answer that I can keep the wrong dress (it won't fit me and nobody wants to buy it from me, and I still paid tax for it) and the correct order will be processed.(it was said it will be matter of few hours and it was 30th of May) I was supposed to be updated in case of any trouble with the order.
The dress wasn't sent to me, I had to repeat my emails one week later, 05.06 and 06.06, which were unfortunately ignored. Then, irritated I contacted unique vintage staff again on their website, 07.06, and this time, the dress was finally being sent to me. As a cherry on top, the delivery of the dress lasted 1.5 month due to bad packing performed by unique vintage. (as package didn't have needed documents to get accepted at the border). And I paid third of its price in taxes, again.
I didn't feel that neither my money or my time was respected.
Slow shipping and terrible customer service. Sarah Valdes has absolutely no idea how to do her job. Will never order from this company again.
I love this site, they are fantastic! Not only are the clothes made very well, but the customer services is what keeps me coming back. I have had several items that were either too large or too big, the customer service reps always walk me through the process smoothly and help me when I get stuck. I have never had any issues with this site only great experiences. They do clothing sales all the time and the clothes are so great! Highly recommend
I ordered two blouses as I did not know what size I was (that's just the way it is ordering clothing online). The top appeared to run small, so when I reached for the medium, I was surprised to find an unsealed empty bag. When I contacted Sarah about the matter she offered to send another top free of charge. When I declined she refunded the amount immediately and sent me a packing slip for the other items I returned. She was attentive, friendly and quick!
I have ordered clothing from Unique Vintage in the past and everything went swimmingly. I don't blame a company for charging restocking fees or charging for shipping. It's clearly stated on their website. I have nothing but positive experiences from Unique Vintage!
Sarah Valdes with Unique Vintage was an absolute Godsend. In dealing with the stress of a wedding and complications with shipment she was informative and polite all along the way.
Working in customer care myself I know its important that her efforts be recognized. If she is the face of your company then the company must feel immensely lucky to have her.
Ordered a dress 6/14/18. Paid $7 standard shipping and received it on 6/23/18. It was super tiny, so I needed to size up. I had to reorder the dress, pay another $7 in shipping AND had $6 deducted from my refund for return shipping. It is 7/3/18, and I still don't have my dress. I had ordered a dress from the UK 2 days later, and received it 4 days later. I could walk to CA and pick the dress up faster than their shipping. I will not be ordering again.
Fast, efficient and friendly customer Service by Maura who was able to give me (as accurate as possible) estimate on overseas shipping. Given the urgency of my item I paid express which Maura was able to expedit despatch given that it was coming to Australia.
My item arrived on time and I could not be more thrilled. While I did pay extra for express shipping it is worth every cent due to the extra work involved.
My item was also true to the image displayed on their website, from the colour to the detail. So kudos to the website team on your web design and colour matching.

I love browsing Unique Vintage, however yesterday I found a dress for $80 that I have in my closets that I paid only $20 for on amazon. This isn't the first time I seen an item on UV that was over priced and found the match for on amazon either. I find it sketchy, so beware, and always double check!

Sadly, we have been having a lot of issues with knock-off's of our our original styles. Which is why you might see similar styles at half the cost, if not more. Unfortunalty, we cannot stop these stores from selling copies of our styles, and hope our customers do not support knock-off brands.

This store has so lovely dresses that I found the perfect dress for my sister's wedding. But unfortunately I had issue with the delivery and the package never arrived. I contacted the customer service and Vanessa helped me, she was so nice she solved the issue and made sure I received my dress on time for the wedding! I've just ordered my next perfect dress!
I ordered three swimsuits after meticulously using their size chart and my measuring tape as tools for precision. The three suits I ordered were all 'Large'. Only ONE of them fit me, with the other two being too short and too narrow = too small. This is THIER mistake, NOT mine, yet, I had to pay to return the items and they charged me an additional $6. I did not complain. They need to return my $126 to my credit card since I sent them back the two defective swimsuits.
They confirmed with me that they received the two returned swimsuits, and now they want me to use a 'voucher' to buy more merchandise from them, and they refer to this as my 'return'. I am one step away from reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. These people will NOT get away with ripping me off.

We supply an instant voucher in the case a new purchase needs to be made right away! Most customer love that feature, as they do not need to wait to be refunded. However, the voucher does not need to be used, and upon receipt of the the return, and the voucher not being used, a refund will be issued. If the sizing is off we do ask that customer service is contacted, so that we can help with your return. Of course if the wrong information is listed, you do not need to pay the $6.00 return label fee.

I ordered 2 dresses paid for overnite service I got 1 dress 5 days after due date, ordered 0419-18 to date still have not received the second dress was told on back order it would be 30 days, so I waited called today and was told another 30days by Veronica, taking a trip very soon needed the dress for that but it looks like they take you money to pay their rent instead. We will see what the bbb says. Just awful service, and bad one liners I can credit your account if you cant wait the nerve.

Can't say enough good things about my experience with Unique Vintage! Stumbled upon this site after seeing a post on Facebook and I can't believe I didn't know about it before! Such a wide selection of sizes and styles, and I really love their "shop by era" section. I bought a pair of shoes and a flapper dress for an upcoming event. Shipping was a little slow but I did chose the free shipping option. Dress arrived and was too small, I called their customer service and Courtney walked me through exchanging the item. New dress arrived about a week later and fit like a glove. I got so many compliments at my event. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends! My only advice would be to call customer service if you are unsure of sizing.
Awful online experience! Ordered 5 items; 3 came in one shipment. I received an email saying my full order had been delivered, then I checked my order status on the website and it said the other items would come in a second shipment. Even the online customer service said everything had shipped. When I pointed out what the site said, CS informed me that one of my remaining two items was on backorder. I canceled it.
The final item to arrive was a t-shirt that DID NOT look anything like the picture (it looks fitted in the picture, but it is just a giant t-shirt), and I ended up returning it.
I just washed everything for the first time (haven't even worn them yet except to try them on) and already a button fell off a pair of shorts. I'm really disappointed because I love the vintage look, but it's so not worth it to deal with this site. This is my first and last order with UV.

In our email confirmations we do list all the items that are being shipped in each shipment, I'm very sorry if that was not correct. I ordered several items. The quality was lovely but the sizes are very inconsistent and
Inaccurate. The returnly system is hard to use. The system would not do what I was asking it to do. I ended up with an immediate credit that i did not want but was obligated to use. I wont shop here again. There are too many other great websites with free shipping and returns.
This site is really lovely. I only ordered one pair of shoes a while back (unfortunately, items plus international shipping are quite pricey), but I was very happy with the quality of the product.
I just wanted to exchange an item for a different size and they gave me a "credit" but the system can't seem to process it so I have no credit and no item. They have my money and are giving me an email runaround! I call during their business hours and no one picks up the phone. Unique Vintage, sucks, uniquely.

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
