Purchased a veiled chameleon, whip scorpion and moon crab from underground reptiles. Shipping was FAST, ACCURATE and company communication was FANTASTIC!
Very, very pleased with the quality, friendliness and health of the animals! It's always a bit nerving when ordering, sight unseen, online... let alone purchasing live animals. I've been to reptile expos... disgusting, cruel and sick animals. I will ONLY ever deal with underground reptiles! They have my upmost respect and you can bet... I'll be recommending them! Don't play around with chain stores like Petco or PetSmart... do it right the first time. Go to underground reptiles!

I was extremely pleased with ordering my egg eating snake. They were fast At replying to any questions I had which was awesome. My egg eating snake came in healthy was was beautiful. Shes been having no problem eating eggs and adapting to her new habitat. Underground reptiles also called me to check in and see if my snake arrived safely and made sure I didn't have any questions. Thank you!

I purchased a Nile monitor through UGR roughly a couple weeks ago. I was nervous due to some reviews both online and from working in the reptile business previously. The monitor came packed well in a basic container surrounded by fluffy material to minimize movement of the container. The only thing that didn't seem right with me was when he was delivered the UPS worker didn't ring or knock, nor have me sign for the package. Thankfully the tracking updates were awesome so I knew when to be expecting my monitor, he arrived about 20 mins past the ETA. I'm not sure if me not signing for the package was an UGR issue, but more of a UPS error. Either way the monitor is doing well, arrived healthy and ate right away. I'm very pleased with my purchase and UGR customer service, a lady named Dani contacted me to follow up on the shipment the day after arrival to assure everything was good and I think that was awesome. I think UGR has definitely stepped up in the last couple years.

I have been wanting to keep a inferno dunner bearded dragon for 10 years, and it finally happened. The price was reasonable so I jumped on it, and I was SUPER glad I did. He came in alert and healthy, he also ate like a champ on the first day. The next day he ate one more meal than yesterday. I am so glad he came in not in any rough shape, love what your company is selling and I will be a returning customer for sure.

I purchased, well tried to purchase, dwarf geckos, only to get a call saying they didnt have them in stock, therefore why not take these day geckos; knowing full well that their upkeep is much more hands on. That was 6 months ago. Now i was in the market for skinks and a jackson chameleon. Again, I get a phone call stating they have no skinks available. But dont worry! The Jackson chameleon is still in stock. 1 day later I get the chameleon burnt to a crisp and dead. You know the response i got back, well sorry we have a lot of animals and its hard to keep track of all of them. This company should be shut down for the blatant disregard to there consumers and there retiles.

I ordered my snake (Candy Albino) on May 3rd and received her today! She is beautiful and appears to be healthy and active! I appreciate how they communicated with me for shipping. It was too hot to ship her Monday! Temps were cool enough to send her yesterday so she's home safe and sound today! I look forward to our future with Luna!

On my birthday my parents ordered me the baby rainbow jackson's chameleon and when it got to my house it only lived for 2 days! As a teenager I was met with so many mixed emotions I was sad, furious and overall frustrated that would be my first chameleon. My father called Underground Reptiles and they said they only guarantee 100% live arrival but not the first few days when it arrives. Do NOT recommend but I will try and order again

I ordered a male veiled chameleon and asked several times through email for pictures and they were lagging on it for quite a while. When I finally received my chameleon, it was going all over the cage and especially in the pot of dirt the plant was in. I called again to make sure it was a male veiled chameleon and they said it was. Here I am ten months later comparing the chameleon I have to a male veiled chameleon at 10 months, realizing I was given a female. How do you know you might ask? Well, female chameleons dig up dirt to lay eggs, their veil grows smaller, and they present less color. I am very disappointed in this purchase and I have no other choice but to continue raising this moody chameleon of mine.

My daughter bought a baby iguana blue axanthic... it is HUGE, very mean, aggressive and has turned black despite the nearly 400 have spent on supplies and terrarium. My daughter is autistic and did research and studied how to be a good iguana owner and now cries daily bc for 2 weeks she cant touch it or even put her hand in to feed him. I'm sure he is 2-3 years old and was either never handled or was wild caught. I emailed them and they asked for pic of his habitat and temp. His habitat and temp r perfectly fine, it's the fact that he is huge and hasnt been handled that has made him mean and a huge disappointment for us all. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE bc although they respond with the are happy to assist, they cant assist bc they dont have a clue

My boyfriend and I have been looking into getting a camel spider these past few weeks. Well around 4/7/2021-4/8/2021 we bought one from this company. We got the spider 4/10/2021 and right away we knew something was wrong. We had been studying dromopoda's (the higher classification of camel spiders) for quite some time now, me learning about them for a few months and him learning about them since he was a child. When the spider arrived, it didn't move. It was stiff as a board, and from others experiences with buying these creatures from other sites and local stores, they are supposed to be pretty active. We decided to set up it's enclosure with sand, a hollowed rock for shade, and a heat lamp. We only got the bare minimum to start off with due to money. Well, we put the spider close to where the heat lamp was aiming and after a while it's legs started twitching. We took that as a good sign and since the spider arrived full (meaning it already had ate before shipment or during shipment), we didn't put any crickets in just yet. We decided that hopefully overnight it would be active or feel better. We woke up this morning and my boyfriend went to check up on the spider and it was still in the same position as yesterday evening. He had sent an email yesterday stating the situation and we have yet to hear back from this company. I am VERY disappointed with how the spider arrived to our house, and we will not be buying from this site again. Much better going to a local store and able to see the condition of the creatures.

My scorpion arrived in a well secured container. Very much active and doing well in his new home. Excellent place to get your reptiles

Do not buy from these people. That will not back up their products and blame everything on the virus or anything not to resolve the issue. Drew was extremely disrespectful saying I was trying to take advantage of the
Situation. Since I'm in my 80's I'm filing a claim under the elder abuse law covered in NC. It not against underground it's against Drew.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I have to for these guys!
I ordered a 5-6 foot green iguana on 3/16 around 1am. I got a call later that afternoon telling me they had one, and could ship it that day. He arrived right on time at noon today(3/17) and was nicely packed in a box with heat packs to keep him warm and cozy. He is beautiful! They kept me updated from start to finish, and I was able to get detailed information about where he was. They were very nice, professional and answered all questions I had about the iguana and what to expect. He is wild, but you wouldn't guess it! We've been hanging out with him all day. He was a little fireball at first, but he has calmed down so much since being out. He's a big, chunky boy and we're already in love! I would definitely recommend underground reptiles for exotic pets. I plan on going through them again in the future when I decide to expand my reptile family

Ordered a standard Adult Leopard Gecko and chose a delivery date of Thursday, 3/4/21 and was sent an email confirmation that I would receive a shipping number around 9:00pm the day prior. Lo and behold the shipping number came in right around 8:45pm. I was then told to expect my animal around 10:30am on Thursday and amazingly it came in at 10:18am so I could not be happier with the communication thus far.

Packaging was secure, though the deli the animal was kept in seemed a little small for them. Tail seems a tad thin, but not alarmingly so and should be easy to fatten up once he settles in. No mites could be found at initial inspection, which is always a plus.

He is travel drunk right now and is happily sleeping the stress away in his new home, and I am providing 4 stars as a tentative review after I can accurately confirm 1) the lack of mites and 2) the overall and long standing health of the animal. If it lives and is deemed healthy, this is a 5 star company, for sure.

For now, thank you for my gecko, I will return and update my review when able.
