Bearded Dragon

I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a reptile. The staff is very friendly and they pack the reptile nice and secure. I absolutely love my bearded dragon, the colors are amazing. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Reliable Service

I was very skeptical about ordering an animal from online to have it shipped to my house, but everything turned out well as far as the animal being shipped and the weather conditions being at the right temperatures because that was my biggest fear and I just didn't want to have my animal arrive dead even though they have a guarantee of life. When she arrived she was healthy and still active so I am very pleased with the service that was provided and the representatives that helped me out were very knowledgeable and insured me that my pet would arrive safely for my son he is extremely happy and very satisfied with the purchase thanks again greatly appreciate it.

Horrible service

Underground reptiles is a horrible service. I have ordered countless reptiles and every time they have showed up on my doorstep they have arrived dead. They will not refund me any of my money and and I would never recommend to anyone to ever buy from this company. Underground reptiles is a horrible service. Hi William, your first order for the Abronia Graminea did arrive deceased, which is why we worked with you to shipped out a replacement. You told us you would like us shipping on 11/18/19. UPS attempted their first delivery at 10:18 on 11/19/19 but no one was at the delivery address to sign for the animal. When a first delivery attempt is missed we are unable to cover the shipment with our live arrival guarantee. We are still happy to work with you in the future. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Turtle & Iguana

So i ordered a 2-3 foot iguana and a baby red eared slider from the underground website and both came very happy and healthy. I did order a gecko which was WAAAY smaller than I thought but that was an issue on my part for not doing more research on it. They had nothing to do with my mistake. On the first of November im planning to order another red eared slider and even a common snapper because i trust these guys. You can take care of an animal to the best of youre ability and something still happen. Its the chance we all take as pet owners. I take all pets I get strait to my vet the day i get them to know there overall health. Still even then something could happen. I see a lot of people with bad reviews on here about the place and its kibda shockibg cause ive only gotten good animals with great customer service. Thanks UGR

Order received on 10/10/2019 at 1030am 1 Sulcata 2 Russian tortoise one was very sick and notified at 2pm same day all that i get is hard time from them and he blame the light (zoo med basking spot lamp is 4 in one) turtle died in 2 days. First time and last time buyer my advice is buy local. I have turtles for 10 years no problem

Hi Juan, we did review your order issue report but had major concerns for how your tortoises were being cared for since the pictures of the setup you sent us shows the 2 different species living together. Russian tortoises and sulcata tortoises come from very different climates and should be kept separate so as to have a setup which is specific to their environment needs.

They packed boas and 14 Jackson chameleons in one box, they arrived squished and after a month 11 of the jacksons and 3 of the boas were dead. Upon necropsy there were massive internal injury's from having no separation from the boas in bags and the jacksons loosly warped in paper. After numerous attempts to get this resolved I got no where. To make matters worse the boas had mites and I'm sure you all know what these can do to a colony.

Hi M V., we ship thousands of reptiles each week and have honed our packing to ensure safe, live arrival for our animals with the absolute lowest fatality rate possible. We have packed many more than 14 Jackson's Chameleons in one box before. We have many different sizes of boxes, so to represent that 14 should not have been in one box at a time is not correct since we have many different sizes of boxes to use for the exact number of animals we are shipping to a destination. The bags you are referring to breathe very well, especially when shipping in the summer months so the animals do not overheat. We are so sorry your experience was not perfect but we do look forward to serving you again in the future.

To sum it up, terrible customer service when it comes to dead animals. Signature confirmation needs to go and the customer is always right.
I had a frog die because UPS screwed up the delivery and I the customer needs to pay for that and then buy another animal that will probably die because they can't package animals safely.

Hi Dave, we do required signatures on all live animal deliveries. If a customer misses the delivery then we try and work with them to get the package as quickly as possible, but unfortunately we are not able to cover the order with our live arrival guarantee if the first delivery attempt is missed.

Stuck up as can be

I ordered a blue tegu from the a male expecting you know a full blood blue tegu but in return it's a mix and I can tell by his red belly their only suppose to be black and white. So I ordered a 8 to 10 inch one ounce I got him put he was already 16 inches which I'm fine with but ounce a tegu gets to that size he starts not liking people, I contacted them several times the guy is super nice but the girl there constantly with the back talk like seriously here I am a customer who has a degree in herpetology for this kind of stuff will het talked back to by this cell phone assistant but if you don't mind the service or getting the wrong animal go right ahead to underground reptiles

This was a rip-off

My first order was missing the frogs, and one of the chameleons was small and I order the larger and more expensive one and never received a credit memo. Contacted them and the next order I refused as I found out I didn't need the product. Now I found out there is a difference between their wholesale website and retail and if you purchase on the retail side your credit cannot be used on the wholesale side. Because I'm a wholesale customer I didn't even know the item came from the retail side so I paid full price.
This was not stated to me when I bought the product I had refused. What a mess this caused.
Now they finally managed to help me with my credit (although they would not let me use it on my wholesale account and this is where all the problems started.) So I ordered off the retail side just to use up my credit and when I received my order it was wrong again!
I ordered two different types of the chameleon's a pair of Jackson's and a pair of flapneck's.
Now order received, we received one Jackson@ 4 inches and a baby jackson as the price is different between these two. I was charged for the larger of the two.
I received two flapneck's@ 4 inches, the flapneck, should be at least 6" to 10".

Great guy!

He is very knowledgeable about his animals and will address all questions immediately and respectfully. We have gotten two dart frogs from him (planning on more!) the very first was DOA and he offered me a replacement of equal or lesser value. I got the new frog very quickly, well and alive. A few months later I got another and it was alive on the first try! I plan on purchasing tarantulas, snakes, and a few more frogs from him. He packages his animals well and according to the weather. I love that he offers gift certificates as well as feeders and some supplies on his site all together! Convenient!
