So... I decided to look into my self. Let me set the stage... I'm on a business trip missing my wife and family. I enter a rabbit hole wondering about friends from high school. I stumble on truth finder and eventually decide to look into myself as I had gotten a DUI 10 years ago following catching my then wife in the "act", an awful divorce, and then my mom's died of pneumonia. (Why do bad things come in 3's?)
I met a wonderful woman and have had no problems since. Now I see on this search OUT OF THE BLUE that I a possible sex offender. HUH? WOW NEWS TOO ME!
Is it because I accidentally pulled up a porn website? MY GOD>> that is a criminal thing to say in today's world where people who are labeled sex offender today are synonymous to leper's!
They hide the fact that they are going to charge you, lead you on and after you spend a great deal of time filling out information and give your email address they finally tell you that you have to pay big bucks to get the promised information. I think they are just a bunch of scum bags.

I spotted their website while online a decided to check what they showed about me. After answering a long series of questions, they offered a report that included two people I had already declared not my relatives, but a person not reading carefully might have thought the multiple negative files they claimed to have found were about me, not these two who weren't even relatives. They wanted a fee to see more info. Not interested. Didn't pay. Now I'm being harassed with emails and other messages which don't have an unsubscribe link. Still trying to get me to check out the negative info on these two people who aren't relatives.

I made the mistake of using this site to find the criminal record of a woman who is a scam artist. After paying the fee and waiting forever, the information I received was a total joke! It showed a bunch of relatives I had no use for and showed jobs she never held and other useless information. To top it all off, it said she had NO criminal record! She has over two decades of crimes including felonies. So I ended up with nothing for almost $30. Notified them not to bill me again and notified my credit card holder. I cant believe I was such a sucker!

Innocently looking for info on a great grandparent who died in the 1920's. I signed no agreement and am plagued daily with emails willing to tell all the dirty secrets of someone still living - a stranger to me. Can't believe this is a legitimate business!

Ran a report one myself and it was full of useless, out of date, and inaccurate information. After I canceled on the same day, my mailbox got slammed by dozens of spam emails every day with no end in sight. Stay away from this RIP OFF!

I was on it today, and I wanted to search up my mother. When I got to it, it didn't say anything about buying people's information. It had me wait for about 15-20 minutes on the information. When I pushed open file, it said, "Pay $20.53 on this that and the other" and wanted me to pay to use INFORMATION? What am I gonna do, spam my mother with her info? Now THAT'S stupid.

Everyday. Beware: Do Not Go To Their Site unless you like being harassed.

I purchased this service through PayPal for the month for 27.78. After about two days into the service they accused me of suspicious activity and every time I tried to log in it said I was inactive. So I went to PayPal and filed a complaint, asked for my money back and explained why. I then received an email from Truthfinders the next day stating that they had reinstated my account. Since they did so, I went back to PayPal and explained that as long as they did not disrupt the service I paid for they could disregard my request for a refund. Guess they didnt like my terms, and thankfully, they refunded my money. Dont bother with this service. Too much of a hassle when they become suspicious of you for using it. Ridiculous!

I signed up about 30 minutes ago. I have now cancelled my subscription. I checked myself and so much was wrong. Beginning with my birth name!
At least 60 percent of this report is incorrect. And I got sucked into the click bait for "premium" information. Which was still mostly wrong. Waste of money.

They charged me $27.78 for a month - then I had to pay $2.00 more for something else (forgot what). Report was a bunch of baloney. I can get the same info for free. In order to get any meaningful info you have to sign up for their "premium" service. I don't even know what that cost. Terrible!

Looked at this site to see if they were viable to vet tenants, when I found them to be a scam they turned all my info over to all the worst of the spammers, beware of truth finders.com.

I just explored the truthfinder website. I did not sign up or even open any results this was 11/2 days ago. I called truthfinder and told them I was being bombarded with email and to PLEASE remove me from their email list and unsubscribe me. My wife got a 5 day deal, then they charged us 29.98, two later 27.98, Sha called and canceled it they no refund then on 9.25 they hit us again 29.98, on 9.27 another 27.98 then my email for 32.98. They get 1 email from you and somehow every e.mail.on your phone and charge everyone of them. They are crooks

I have tried the free look up and it not free. Even if you pay the 1 dollar fee the next month you get hit for $16.95 even if you cancel. Then to top it all off, every day I have pop-ups on the people I searched, very annoying. If I could give them zero stars I would.

My search was for a free People Search.It was free until I gave my private E-Mail Address and name. After a long wait the search was done and they wanted money for the results. I then hit the back arrow and saw a different page asking for 1 dollar. Very strange way to scam someone and get away with it. Shame on TruthFinder.

What a CRAP app! Suckered into the TRUTHFINDER app through a back door app, PIPL.COM suggested by KTLA's Rich DeMuro, Rich on Tech. This app was suppose to be free and help remove your personal info off the internet but, it lead to TruthFinder! TruthFinders WANTS $$! LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY!
No TRUTH in this application when the app does not mention anything about money until the very last page!

We already have laws on the books. Please file a complaint with the States Attorneys office in the same location as the companies H. Q. this is the only way we can get these scam artists shut down. The scams from India are finding Americans contact information from these sites and scamming the vulnerable out of millions of dollars a month. Google search the laws.
