Read terms of use and privacy policy before providing any information. Right from the beginning, before even seeing any results, you are asked to provide your named and email address. Red Flag. So I click the links for the terms of use. It is too long and difficult to read so I look online and find a tool to help me parse and search for red flags. They collect and sell your personal information.

An example of how terrible Truthfinder is, simply look Bernie Madoff... WOW! He has no criminal activity! A real con man cons Truthfinder? Nah, Truthfinder is a glorified Google search engine with no special features to ensure accuracy. So, if Truthfinder cannot figure out that Bernie Madoff has convictions, then guess what? Truthfinder will not find the truth on anyone, and I mean anyone, you are searching for! Truthfinder is useless waste of money is my determination. I am a forensic expert and Truthfinder is not worth the time or money.
I paid $28 or so for a month and searched around 50 people. I was able to successfully immediately call and cancel my future automatic payments, but it is something that I will need to ensure they do not charge as I have lost faith in this company. It is confusing as to where people are living and working and many times they show that people are not working and I know they are... so how do they get this information and how old is it?
I was able to locate some long lost friends who moved out of state.
They offered me a $40 Amazon card if I called exactly at noon and I simply forgot and called a little late... no reply to my call or emails reveal the true cunning nature of this company and NOT in the customer's interest.
There is also an ability to edit your or anyone's profile. It makes me wonder if this editing by others actually continue to hide where they are located and working.
So many questions, but if you have $28 or so to burn and want to waste a ton of time spinning your wheels searching endlessly like I did, they go for it. But looking back, I have concluded that the customer service was poor. Courney L. With TruthFinder was militant in her demand that I call her "exactly at noon tomorrow"... give me a fricken break! I thought I was the customer and the customer was king... not here.
So, again, I must admit the information was poor, inaccurate, outdated, and not helpful except to find a long lost friend... which, by the way, I had to call 5 numbers to get him and who know which one worked...

I went through all the bull$#*! to get a report, set up an account, paid the $1 for the stupid 5 day trial, went to log in and they won't let me log in! Every time I put in my email and password it tells me one is incorrect, I send the reset password email and click the link only to have the page tell me I have an incorrect link. This site is a God damn joke and should be avoided at all costs. Any good review on the $#*! box website is a $#*!ing lie. What a waste of time..

They are SO AWFUL do not ever even open the website they run you through 45 minutes of reviews till you get tot the end and they try to make you pay 28 dollars. $#*! TRUTHFINDER... I'm sure if you paid 27 dollars you'vd probably find the truth but mostly lies. #$#*!truthfinder

This site was recommended by a reputable site. They sucker you in with a long procedure to get a report, charge you, and then tell you that there's another fee for an actual report. DO NOT USE! I'll be reporting to the BBB as well.

First of all, when first saw it, it said it would be free and quick. I waste about 20 minutes getting everything accurate. It took forever to load.
Then it said "Waring: may contain graphic information (blah blah blah)" Then it takes you to a page where they make you PAY. Like I'm going to pay for that.
And I just wasted 20 minutes.
Oh, and it also made you put in your full name and email. I'm so glad I used a fake name and email address.
Now they're probably going to spam me asking me to pay.
