I called this morning to order flowers for my wife on her first day working at Virginia Tech:

1 Polka Dots and Posies $44.95 each, total cost $44.95
Shipping and Service Fee: $14.99
Tax: Sales Tax, $4.20

Total order cost: $64.14
Delivery Date: 02-18-19

The delivery never happened. Instead, I called 8 hours later and a woman said I need to pay an additional $30 dollars because "there is a minimum amount charged for that arrangement". The confirmation e-mail does not say anything about that, and the small arrangement at $64.14 was already overpriced with $15 for delivery. I asked for the order to be canceled and my money refunded. We will see. Next stop: BBB.

They promised next-day delivery of a funeral arrangement, but the only thing they did "next-day" was charge my credit card. They never notified me that "the local florist we deal with rejected the order because they had an overflow of business" until I sent an inquiry after finding out that the order was never delivered (5 days after the promised delivery date).
Do not believe their blurb about "fresh flowers hand-delivered daily" as a local business. They do not seem to have a physical presence anywhere (the other reviews mention Dallas, Alabama and Ft. Lauderdale, this was supposed to be Colorado) but they advertise as though they are a business local to wherever you want the flowers delivered. They probably count on customers never checking to find out if flowers have been delivered or not, and only promise refunds when they get caught.
Run away.
If you have been a victim of theirs, please write a review here to help convince others not to do business with them.

I ordered red roses on 2/8/19 to be delivered to my wife in Alabama for Valentine's Day on 2/14/19. I was charged $94.10. Troy's Florist sent pink carnations instead of red roses. I called the customer service number on the website, I was told to instead reply to my emailed receipt with any concerns. The CSR replied to my email and offered a 10% discount. I said that will not work. The product isn't what I ordered. The CSR then offered a 20% discount and that the substituted flowers were of equal value. I responded that the flowers are not of equal value, they list carnations for $39.99 on their own website. I asked to be refunded the difference. I then went to a local store and purchased red roses for $67 to make up for their mistake. The CSR then replied only offering a refund of $8.95. I asked them to return the flowers and issue a full refund. I have had no further communication. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed the charge with my bank.

No refund
February 14, 2019

It's now been 6 months and still, no refund. How can they stay in business! Crooks, scammers, and those are the nice words I have for them.

I spoke with a very pleasant woman at the Troys Florist on February 1,2019 and ordered a beautiful flower arrangement to be delivered by the end of the day on a Friday. I sent an email the next day to inquire as to IF the flowers had been delivered... they sent back an email saying no, they couldn't do the delivery and would send them out on Monday. I then called them and said that was unacceptable as the event had already passed. She said she would issue me a refund. I checked my credit card today (13 days later) and the refund had not come through. So, I called again and told them that; she said someone had started the process but had failed to complete the refund process and that she would put it in again. To recap... they did not deliver the flowers and they did not refund my charges (yet). IF I had not followed up both times, I'm sure this would have just been free money in their pockets. After looking at others reviews, seems like this is a common practice... Shame on them! Stay away from them!

Ordered flowers the day before and received email that a change was needed to my order. I was informed that my delivery date wasn't going to be honored. I sent an email for status updates that went unanswered and even called them. Stayed away from them! I'll be filing fraud charges with my credit card company

Ordered 2 large flower arrangements 2 days in advance for a funeral service. Was promised they would get there in time. The flowers were never delivered and I was not notified that they would not be delivered. I have requested a refund after being put on hold and then hung up on multiple times over the last few days. I should have looked for reviews prior to ordering.

I ordered a basket of fruit/nuts for a male friend as a get well wish. After delivery his wife sent me a picture of the flowers. Nothing like what I ordered and no phone call to approve substitute. They offered me a 10% refund, I said 20% to call it a day. Let's see what happens. After reading the reviews, it sounds like these folks make a habit out of ripping people off.

Don't believe them!
January 25, 2019

I ordered an arrangement for their same day delivery. I put in my order at 9 a.m. I gave them my phone number for any problems. At 3:43 p.m. I got an email that they wouldn't be able to deliver the flowers but would be happy to keep them for me until the next week. I demanded my money back and was told that I would get it in 3 to 5 business days.

Try to rip you off
January 24, 2019

Ordered a bouquet to be delivered to an ill family member and opted for the same day delivery option. My order total was approx. $70. Same day delivery did not happen, next day delivery did not happen. Contacted them via email, they assured me they would get the order out by the next day - didn't happen. I then received an email, advising me my order was not enough of a dollar value to be able to complete the order. They said for another $60 (they would wave $20 of that for the inconvenience), they would get the order sent out. Called them and requested the order to be cancelled. Have been advised I will receive a full refund in 5-7 business days. Amazing how they can accept your payment instantly but it then takes several days to see a refund. Waiting to see if I actually get my refund.

JUST DON'T
January 24, 2019

I got online and searched and finally found the perfect TREE/Plant that I wanted delivered to my mom for her birthday. She loves nature and doesn't care for cut flowers so the tree was a perfect gift since we live over 700 miles apart.

I ordered, paid, she got a delivery later that day of CUT FLOWERS, NOTHING like what I paid for and TOTALLY not worth what I did pay! I called and asked for a supervisor, she was of course, gone for the day... I exchanged several e-mails and was finally offered 10% off! Are you kidding me?

Yes $7 will make up for all the BS and the fact that without asking me or notifying me you gave my mom the one things she doesn't like... cut flowers after I ordered a live plant! They refuse to call me back and told me that the 10% was their final offer!

Completely different
January 24, 2019

I paid $15 extra for lillies in a deluxe version of winters glow. No Lillie's arrived in bouquet that was absolutely nothing like what I ordered; they replaced most flowers with pine boughs. Made it Christmas like when I specifically ordered a non Christmas bouquet.

I called my order in before I read the reviews I live in Dallas, Texas my son is in New York in the hospital The young lady that took the order was very nice and professional I think her name was Ya Ya when I got my email receipt I seen the room number was wrong which I know was a simple mistake, so I called back the person that answer the phone I ask her for her name to see if I was speaking to the same person that I spoke to before instead of her giving me her name she said Troy florist I said what your name she spoke to me very ugly in a very nasty voice that made me very up set it as I said why are you yelling just because I ask you to put the right room number and very riude voice I changed it and she hung up in my face and I call and ask to speak to the manger and they said she was busy and would call me back so I told them to cancel the order and she told me oh before they could delivery They need $40 more dollar after I had already given $74.84 I don't think so in Texas I never spend my money with people that have attitudes and to Ya Ya the first young lady that answer the phone find you another job because you are to nice to work there... Good Luck! Mary Ford P.S.if I could give a 0 I would!

Very disappointed
January 12, 2019

I ordered a Brilliant Birthday Blooms as a gift. What was delivered was nothing like what I ordered. They never contacted me to say they needed to change the order or couldn't complete the order. See the pictures below. The first photo is the picture on the website. The 2nd is what was delivered. They offered me $6 back on my order. I have never been so disappointed in a florist.

Beware of this company
January 12, 2019

This is a scam! Do not use them!

They will not give you what you ordered. They keep your money. They have no customer service because they do not correct their mistakes of give refunds.
They argue and they are rude. They never offer an apology.
I have no idea how they continue to get away with this!

Ordered a very cute little arrangement for our 3 year old grandchild's birthday. They have a cateory-"for children"... 3 days ahead of the birthday. Received confirmation. Everything looked good.
The day of, they wrote and said they needed more money, because the area was too far away. Ok. They agreed to do it anyways at the agreed upon price.
BUT--they send an arrangement that was not for little children. Not cute, not fun, and completely inappropriate for a child's birthday. The chocolate was a little tiny package, not at all like the one pictured. So we wound up very disappointed.
Wrote the company and asked for a refund. They offered a 10% discount calling on their right to exchange or upgrade the arrangement. --But seriosly. It's not even from the right category.
Good it was not a wedding where they sent funeral arrangements.
I have called 3 times today. No one answer the phone. It's Sunday, so ok. The first email was answered. But we cannot accept a 10 % discount for this. So- any one has a good idea of what to do?

Promises mean nothing
January 6, 2018

I wanted to send my daughter flowers for St. Valentine's Day, since she was living out of state and so I tried to find a florist that had good reviews. I called Troy's florist in Ft. Lauderdale for the task, as they were less than a mile away from my daughter's work. I called in to set up the delivery, they guaranteed delivery by mid day (of course the cost was at a premium) and so I gave them all of the information. Valentine's Day was coming to a close and I had not heard from my daughter, so I called her to find out she had not received anything. The next morning she called me to let me know the flowers had arrived at her work late in the evening when the only people there were security; and oh by the way, they spelled her name wrong even though I confirmed everything with them multiple times.
Not worth the risk if you want the flowers to be there by a certain time.
