My flight time has been rescheduled without any proper reason and not allow to refund or cancel whatsoever. I chose night flight because I have something to do on the noon, but this company screwed up my plan by changed to noon flight. End up I have to give up my things and rush for the flight and they are not even remunerate me anything. Don't waste time booking in this company, avoid this website at all cost!

So I booked The Hotel Courtyard Pasay in Manila based on nice photos, then got there and was lead to an absolute S hole of a room! I am not exaggerating when I say you step through the doorway and trip onto the bed. The room could barely fit the bed, let along anything else. They call it a hotel, but the bathroom was not even on the same floor! Dirty, dingy, filthy place. I turned the key right back in, and got my driver to take me elsewhere. Not surprisingly, a hotel that puts up phony pics is also not willing to refund my money, but VERY SURPRISINGLY, is Trip.com not standing behind me through this fraudulent activity. Do NOT use Trip.com for anything! Someone in authority needs to strip them of a business license and put them in jail.

Horrible customer service

I bought a ticket and right after I clicked purchase I realized I accidentally clicked the wrong day. Right away (within a few minutes) I contacted Trip.com to correct this. I could not get ahold of anyone for hours. By the time I did get ahold of someone, they wanted to charge me $280 as a fee to make any changes (this was the price of the ticket). Lesson learned NEVER USE TRIP.COM, just BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE AIRLINE ITSELF.

They would not let me change my flight I ended up loosing 2 tickets guys if you want to book it's better with the airline direct even if it's a little more on the company's website. It's not worth the agro through a middle man.

I scheduled a flight from Toulouse to Athens with a middle stop in Geneva with two different companies easyjet and agean so they didn't calculate the correctly and i missed the second flight. So i had to buy another ticket from Geneva to Athens and i also lost my meeting. Do not trust this company it's a fraud!

I booked 2 round trip tickets.

Myself Husband Sister tried to get into website to check in
Sight was down we tried many many times day before
My 1st time booking tickets myself
I thought I booked for 6pm departure time
Received a message flight was departing in 2 minutes which was 6am the day we were to leave
I called spoke with a representative
I told him it was my error I did not realize they use military hours for flights if you want to book for a pm flight
I asked Rep if we can rent a car one way can we still use are tickets to get back home
He stated no
On the phone many many times with Book. Com and Frontier no flights…
Many different Reps…
So we drove the 18 hours Surprise 50th birthday for my sister did not want to let her down. Finally reached a Supervisor thought maybe since they would not let us use the tickets to come back a parcel credit. Nope… he says Oh our Rep was wrong you can use the tickets as we are hours into getting to our destination driving
We let him now what his Reps told us
Etc
No credit
Ya now what he said
Drive Safely
18 hrs to get there and turn around to drive 18 hrs back
On a good note
We Safely made it… and So Happy to celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday
Will never ever ever ever use this company

Horrible Experience

They give you 30 minutes to reserve and pay. I entered my card information 4x's on one card and it didn't go through. I entered a total of 3 cards and it didn't go through. I contacted customer service and had to listen to fire trucks in the background. The representative kept me on the phone until I had 7 minutes left to pay. Then the representative had me enter my card again and the same issue. I asked to escalate the issue to a supervisor. The representative kept me on hold until I had less than 2 minutes to pay and told me that a supervisor wasn't available, the rate had increased by 200%, and to try again later. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. The representative had the nerve to insult me by saying that I couldn't afford the room. I wouldn't be trying to book the room if I couldn't afford to pay for it. Don't waste your time or money. I ultimately went to another site, got the same room at a cheaper rate and booked it with no problem.

Awful company!

Booked a set of flights with Trip.com for my father as one transaction that involved two airlines - Easyjet UK domestic flights connecting to a Ryanair return to France. Ryanair cancelled their outbound flight and informed me directly by email, but no response from Trip.com. I had to contact them to advise that the flight had been cancelled (they asked for a screenshot of my email from Ryanair!). The flight to France was changed to the day before but they refused to change the Easyjet flights. Despite numerous emails and phone calls to Trip.com, with promises that they'd submit the Easyjet flights for refund, they still hadn't done anything a week later. I have booked directly with Easyjet in the meantime. Despite my initial booking with Trip.com all being part of the one itinerary, they have refused point blank to take any responsibility as an agent and repeatedly defer to the airlines' conditions. There is zero proactiveness in rectifying problems. I doubt I'd have ever known the Ryanair flight had been cancelled had I not been contacted directly by the airline. I worked for one of the best travel agencies in the UK for ten years and to see an agency behave this way horrifies me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They can make an $88 ticket turn into a $300 ticket in no time! I'm surprised they aren't standing out side the airport waving the tickets in the air trying to sell them! Crooks. What a way to make a living. Buying and reselling plane tickets. You've made it.

Booked a US flight in December 2021(on Alaska airlines). Had to cancel due to COVID. Contacted Trip.com and they said I would retain my flight cost when I wanted to rebook.
I called today to rebook-trip.com told me I needed to speak with the airline. Alaska was more then happy to help, however couldnt as when my trip was booked, it shows it was paid for in cash as in AUS dollars. (I paid by credit card in US dollars). Alaska told me they will put a note in my account that says they will allow a waiver so I can rebook... but trip.com wont contact Alaska as I have requested to issue the rebook. Alaska said they (trip.com) likely dont want to deal with the hassle. So now I am out almost $900 USD-trip.com is a complete and utter waste of time, not to mention money and I will NEVER ever use their 'services' again... in fact their services seem criminal as they have taken my money and are not allowing me to re-use it to rebook (I am NOT asking for a refund) even though the airline policy allows me to rebook. Very difficult and sneaky. Poor business practices and they should be shut down.

Flight Cancellations

My flight changed twice. Trip.com offers free change of flight date, but there was no available flights. And they will cancel it days before your flight So i had to book another flight for much higher pay. And no refunds were made! My hard earned money was wasted, all thanks to trip.com. Dont book here! I suggest you book directly to the airline. Trip.com is unprofessional and a scam.

Worst experience ever!

I have booked a flight via trip.com for my helper. This is actually the second booking for the flight. Mine is a transit flight.

First booking- they cancel the flight from Yangon to Kl, but proceed with the flight from Kl to Sin. How can my helper fly to Kl, when the first flight is cancelled? I demanded for a refund, and due to the mistake one of the staff replied (agreed to refund me), they have no choice but to refund.

As I thought is a one time off thing, I gave them another chance and make a second booking. This time round, they change the date of the flight, from 7th May to 4th May. This is acceptable. But 3 days ago, they make another changes! They change the flight from kl to sin to 12.25pm, and my flight from Yangon is 12pm. What a unreasonable change is this! I demanded for a refund but what the customer service reply is non-refundable, only flight change. But the timing they provided me is all long transit flight!

And when I called to demand a refund, they told me to try for another flight change, I told them I'm sure there will be changes again. They said maybe this will be a confirmed one, I said u said maybe means you can't guarantee as well. He actually replied me that they don't own the airline. Such an irresponsible reply. They should just close down their platform if they do not want to be responsible in anything. What for we book via trip.com when it is so insecure.

This is seriously the worst experience I ever had while making a flight booking.

I booked a flight from MCT to Singapore and the airline delayed one of the flights. I was eligible to cancel the flight as per the airline COVID flexible policies but the request for cancellation must come from the Agent (i. E. Trip). So I contacted Trip and they agreed to submit the cancellation request. However after more than 12 business days there has been no response, so I contacted the airline directly to find out that Trip never submitted the cancellation request. The airline couldn't process my request directly without Trip's authorization.

Trip.com AVOID!

Just had to pay an extra £110 on top of outbound flight due to unable online check in with Trip.com on their website despite muliple attempts 48 hours before the flight. Spoke to customer services but was told had to check in at the airport which incurrs a cost of £55 per person. It did not mention this additional cost double the cost of the original ticket itself. Disgusting!

Lier and scam

If I can give 0 star, I would give 0 star, Don use this company, it is a scam, I booked the tickets on January 2019 as Covid so the flight was cancelled, They sent me a Email said will give me half of my money a Voucher of Air Asia and half of money cash refund and will process in 6 working day( I am still waiting for my money) but never give me my money and give me a fake voucher code, I sent other Email to this company until now 2022, they said it was already refunded, such a lier I told them I never received any money and ask them send me proof of refund, they never did. Of couse the voucher code still invalid.
I sent over 26 Email to them, I don't think I can get my money back as I saw a lot people have the same experience, I am here to write the review just wanna warn everyone don't waste your money and time on trip.com

Booked 4 flights. 2 weeks after I paid in full they cancelled my first 2 flights meaning all 4 are useless now. Refused to refund me. Offerd £8 total blaning the airline. Every review I've read any we sire is like mine 1 out of 5 for conning people. Attached is one empty promises made as in one of 50 all lies and no action over weeks abs weeks

Got covid and needed to change/cancel Chicago-Vancouver flight but rep was highly unsympathetic.
Proceeds to tell me that my past 8 yrs' customer experiences dealing with Trip.com is wrong.

The purpose of any 3rd party platform is to provide convenience and positive customer service because we are free to book tickets directly with the airlines. Airlines are more accommodating of flight changes and match low prices on 3rd party platforms.

After using TRIP.COM for the past 8 years, this experience has deeply upset me and I am considering to never use Trip.com in the future and booking flights directly with airlines in the future.
