Problem solved in Sharm El Sheikh
December 17, 2025

On my arrival in the Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh I was asked to pay an extra for a mis-classification of the age for children (not a mistake made by me but by trip.com). Thanks to customer support services (quick and supportive) - and in particular by Vera (duty manager) - I received full refund plus a small additional sum for the pain and stressful situation. The problem was solved (and the holiday saved).

Flight was rescheduled by 3 hours! But if I want to cancel or change the flight I have to pay! This is a trap - now they can constantly change flights and get additional money

I first became acquainted with the app back in 2017 when it was still known as CTrip.com. I was new to China and some of my colleagues recommended it. I have used it for trips to Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore. I've also used it for several trips back home to Canada for summer holidays. The app is also great for booking trains within China. We get great selection of flights and hotels, and also great deals. Highly recommended.

AI model-flight meal reservation

Very nice and smart.
AI model took 4 more questions to realize my flight meal requests.
But at the end it succeeded in less time and effort.

I suggest that service which is essential to be added as seat reservation.

Friendly, great driver

My driver for the Great Wall of China private tour was really friendly, drove well and was very punctual. He communicated well (even though he did not know English) we used the translate app to chat during the tour. Would recommend for anyone else who wants a comfortable friendly experience

Complicated customer service system

Very easy changes

Whilst Trip.com's booking experience is seamless and simple to do, the true value comes in regular updates so there is confidence after online booking. In addition, it is very easy to make changes to the booking or to cancel the booking with refunds processed accurately and quickly - all with regular updates as to where your request is up to. This is better than most apps I've tried so well done.

Great customer services

I had a great experience with Trip.com's customer service recently. I had booked a hotel months in advance, but a sudden renovation meant I had to be moved to another property, which is never easy, especially just two months before my trip.

Jennifer from customer service and Violet from the Customer Success team were both incredibly responsive and helped me find a solution that truly worked for me. I really appreciated how they handled the situation and how valued they made me feel as a customer.

This isn't my first time using Trip.com, and experiences like this remind me why I keep coming back. The platform has been reliable for every trip I've taken so far.

I would like to sincerely thank Trip.com for the way my case was handled.

My booking was affected by a force majeure situation due to severe flooding, involving public health and safety concerns for my family. Although the case was complex and required escalation, the Customer Success Team and Duty Manager handled it professionally, patiently, and fairly.

In the end, Trip.com took the initiative to protect the customer and provided a full refund. This resolution restored my confidence in the platform, and I truly appreciate the responsible and customer-focused approach.

Reliable online travel agency

I booked 2 way combination flight, PAL going to Tokyo and Zipair as return flight back fo Manila. I settled my bill through credit card. The return ticket was confirmed right away but the PAL flight was a bit challenging and after 3 days I received email offering alternative flight because the flight I originally booked is already fully booked. I didn't chose the alternative flight because I will travel with my relatives on that flight and it's my first time to travel abroad, I explained it on my email. After 2 days, I got my 2 way flight confirmation. I really appreciate it!
