Traveluro has horrible customer service 35 -55 minutes to get someone to answer the phone I will for sure NEVER book with them. They refused to give me a credit for another hotel.
This company looks legit from the outside. When you book they send a carefully crafted confirmation but, if you notice, there is absolutely NO confirmation information from the hotel. I used them to book a hotel in early October 2023. Upon arriving to the hotel, they had NO record of my confirmation and I had no confirmation # the hotel could look into. Calling the TravelUro escalation line just rang and rang and rang. I DID get ahold of someone at the company who said "they will look into it", and that was the last I heard even though I have reached out multiple times.
It is not possible to reach a customer service agent even after 10,15 or 30 minute wait! Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life! Also charges accounts fraduantly! Customers beware!
I used traveluro because they were the cheapest, and I completely regret it! I called to cancel and get a refund because my wife had emergency surgery and I could no longer make the trip. They only answered the phone one time then communicated with emails. I have since called them 40 times and no one will answer no matter what number I push for the automated service. Ridiculous that a company would block a customer! They stopped returning my emails and I ended up losing $200. This company is a complete scam and waste of your time! Do yourself a favor, and do not ever use traveluro no matter how cheap they are! I give them negative 5 stars!
Very hefty fees for hotels not revealed until checkout. Total inflexibility on corrections to misakes in booking, even if called immediately after.
While searching on google for hotel with Parking, Holiday Inn (SFO) appeared along with this site traveluro. But at the hotel I was told parking is not included. I tried to talk with traveluro folks but they were right away dismissive of it.
Snares you with good deals. Wouldn't let me use my actual phone number, forced to use an old one that won't work. No confirmation email. Shows up as fraud. Terrible booking experience. Zero stars.
Avoid at all costs use a reputable company like Priceline or Hotwire. The worst support do not care about customers at all. Borderline of being a scam.
I always use TripAdvisor to save on hotel prices. Traveluro was leeching on the TripAdvisor site. They charged my card $400 for a room THAT WASN'T EVEN AVAILABLE! I called to get my money back…The lady barely spoke English. I got nothing resolved. I had to call my credit card company. Hopefully they will refund the money. DON'T DO IT!
If you try to call them be aware that I tried on two separate occasions to contact them by phone and hung up after 30 minutesof continuous ringing both times!
Traveluro is illegally selling hotel plans through False Advertisement and lies. I had to pay in a 3 night plan, an extra 30% for "fees" that Traveluro don't let me know. I call to customer service and nobody take the phone. Be carefully, traveluro doesn't care the way how to sell even if it is an illegal way to do it
Ended up paying an extra $100!
Booked and paid extra for a double bed room. Got to the hotel and there was 1 king bed. Hotel had availability for me to switch but said I had to go thru the booking agency. Called Traveluro and was told that I booked for double occupancy, even though my confirmation clearly shows double bed and the increased rate. They refused to fix it. Next, Traveluro charged me for the resort fee. The hotel said they did not and charged me again. I tried calling to get a refund and no one answers the phone. I've called 10xs, still no answer. Over charged!

BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY from TRAVELURO! I learned the hard way when I booked a hotel with them. The hotel misinformed us about the room we booked, so we needed to cancel once we were at the hotel. I called Traveluro and spoke to a representative about the hotel not having any rooms that we booked, and that the hotel had no issue giving us a refund. Traveluro just needed to speak with them, which they did as I was there for the conversation with the hotel staff. Traveluro said they would issue me a refund for my #300 room reservation. One month later, I still have not received it and when I called them to discuss this, no one would speak to me. Obviously they are a scam outfit and they should be shut down. They literally steal people's money. One star is too generous for these criminals.
Traveluro forgot to mention that the hotel was under construction. When asked for a refund, I was told to go ask the hotel for a refund. When I asked the hotel, they said they can't, because it was with a third party booking. Complete run around.
Booked a stay over a month in advance. Received confirmation when booked. Another 2 days before stay. Got to hotel and was told our reservation was cancelled. Called to get a refund. Now they literally must be screening my phone number, because they won't answer or respond to emails. Still no refund.
As I was leery about the rate difference they were offering vs. the other sites on a motel reservation, I was skeptical. I went ahead and gave them a shot because the risk / benefit seemed significant. I did in fact - and almost immediately - encounter a glitch which could have cost me about $80.00. I called them right away and they were very keen to correct the situation and satisfy me fully. A full 5 stars for this experience with Traveluro!
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY—IT IS A SCAM. TOOK MY MONEY AND WILL NOT REFUND. READ ALL THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS. ITS SO SAD, THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. They are taking hard earned money from people.
When I got to the hotel my booking was messed up. Tried calling Traveluro for 3 days with no answer. Phone kept ringing for 30 minutes several times. Had to rebook with Priceline and lost my money from reservation. DO NOT USE Traveluro!
Answer: They don't honor the insurance they offer through their website they want they won't let you change dates I probably won't do anything for you very piss poor customer service
