Traveluro charged our credit card. But apparently what they do is give the hotel a different card, in this case we paid with Visa but the hotel showed a Master Card. The Mastercard of course, did not go through and was an invalid card. Traveluro customer service does not pick up. We had to pay for our room again and will be taking this up with the credit card company and fraud department.
I booked a hotel reservation through Traveluro on 3/17 and paid extra for refundable option till 3/20. On 3/20 I tried canceling the reservation on line and I was not able to. I called and made my case, they sent me an email saying the reservation is non-refundable. I sent them the snapshot of confirmation email that shows the reservation could be canceled & still was not able to cancel the reservation. I will not use Traveluro again in future.
I had an emergency and couldn't make my booking. I contacted Travel Euro they told me they would try to get my money back. The process was suppose to take 24-48hrs. I never heard back from them. I had to contact them just for them to say they couldn't do anything for me.I will never use their services again. I will stick to Hotel.com or something.
I was booking a room that showed available in Traveluro website. I entered all required info including credit card info. I selected basic service (i.e., I can only seek assistance via email if needed, didn't want to pay the $4.99 for live support). I selected button to confirm the reservation...then...voila...the room is not available! I called the hotel but the receptionist told me to call back the next day from 8am to 4pm for reservation.
So I called another hotel was able to get a room reserved.
I'll check my credit card tomorrow and see if Troubleluro charged my card for a room that was not available!
I made a reservation for $400 per night and got COvID four days before the reservation. I called customer service multiple times and emailed customer service and never received a response. I'll fight this with the credit card company.
I booked a hotel through their services and they never paid the hotel. So, I have to rebook the hotel. Monday they told me to give them 24-48 hours. 48 hours later, I am being told another 24-48 hours. Then Jen told me they'll eventually get my information and they waiting for an approval or denial.
This site did not provide corrected information to the hotel, so I got double charged. The customer service promised me 24-48 hours of response time for cancellation, which is their strategy to push you off. Have three phone calls, and several email exchanges with them. Nothing happened.
Filled out the form to book the room, got an insufficient funds rejection, looked at my bank statement……they had taken the money out. When I called, they tried to tell me that I had to contact my bank because they hadn't received the money
I booked a hotel at NY thru this site. When I arrived a hotel, they said it is cancelled.
I tried to call Traveluro several times in vain, no one is answering.
This site is a total scam. I am going to sue this company to get back my money.
Went on to Priceline to book two reservations at the Beverly Hilton in LA. I thought I was dealing with priceline but was subverted to a different website which I didnt realize until I received my emailed receipt. I contacted the hotel to confirm my bookings and they had no record of it. For three days I have been trying to contact the customer service of Traveluro, no answer. I have left two emails, no response. I was finally connected to Traveluro through Tripadvisor and after asking who I was speaking to and in what country, the agent started saying: "hello?" "are you there?" "I'm sorry I cant hear you". "Hello?" "Sir?"...Then she hung up. I have contacted American Express and the FTC to register a complaint about Traveluro.
I was worried after reading the other reviews but I assure you this is not a scam. We got a hotel room in Ottawa ON, which is normally 320 and we got it for $154. Last minute booking. I called the company to make sure all went through fine and they were kind and easy to talk to, answered calls and emails late into the evening.
Have never had a problem with booking agencies in the past and this was my first time using them and we needed to change our dates and I sent multiple emails and multiple calls and never got a hold of anybody and nobody reached out to me

You will not get ANY customer service with these quack jobs. I could not rate them lower than a negative million. Just don't. Scam/fraud alert. I accidentally booked the wrong date, so I went through another company to book the correct date. It was worth the extra $50. Somehow Traveluro needed my confirmation receipt from the hotel that I booked through a totally different company on the date I actually needed the reservation- which was the date I stayed there. That is none of their business. They do not need a copy of my RECEIPT regarding anything about me that doesn't have to do with what I booked through them. They want proof that I stayed there on a different date. So I'm a liar now. NICE. Currently I have amassed multiple phone calls, non-stop ringing, being place on hold exceeding 20 minutes and I've still gotten nowhere. They have my money- not the hotel. Looks like thats all they need. The only way they'll answer the phone is option 1: to book a hotel. Refund or cancel- forget it. I have just been told that Lea cannot get to the phone because their "lines are so jacked up right now. She will converse with you through email. No, she won't. I am on indefinite hold and will screenshot a photo of the length of time I had to wait in hold because they're JACKED UP. Pure professionalism. Bravo.
I booked a hotel through Traveluro, when I arrived at the hotel I was told the booking was canceled. I had to book on spot, regardless of how much more I had to pay. The biggest issue is, Traveluro charged me and refused to refund or contact me in any form. None of my phone calls were picked up. However after I open a dispute with the credit card company I used, Traveluro provided them with a receipt of me booking through them. The credit card company decided I should pay for it. It's still an on going dispute but my point is, don't ever use this company Traveluro. It will ruin your trip and you need to spend extra time to deal with the financial obligations.
I had never heard of this company and read some lousy reviews and wanted to add the good experience I had with them. I booked a hotel and everything went normal! I'll try to use them again as they had a considerably lower price than everyone else, even after I "tipped" them.
Booked our stay called hotel to confirm booking they did confirm we had a reservation. Drove all the way to Florida and when we got here they said we have res but says we didn't pay. Confirmed they took our money even showed the receptionist but she said they never gave them any money. Tried calling customer support and of course no answer. Now we have to pay for the room again or sleep in our car with 2 dogs. This site is a scam.
I just booked a hotel overseas with them. After I paid there was no confirmation # or email. I called them and I was put on hold. They said they had no record of my reservation. I saved the page that had the total that I spent and it said, "Congratulations, you saved $57.00 by using Traveluno." I called the number and after explaining what happened I was put on hold for 20 minutes and they said they could not find my reservation. So now I am wondering will they charge me for it still? Do they have my credit card number? Should I contact my credit card company and get a new number? Probably! Uggg! Good lesson to book directly with the hotel instead of a 3rd party...especially for overseas travel. Never again!
March 10,2023 I arrived in Cancun exited for my hotel stay I booked with traveluro.com. Ready to check in and was advised there was no reservation made with the booking number. Tried calling customer service to no avail. No one answered. I tried numerous times. Nightmare experience. Never EVER use Traveluro.com!
I really wish I could give 0 stars. I booked with Traveluro just to get scammed out of $150. The hotel I booked using Traveluro had no record on file. I've requested a refund numerous times from Traveluro just to be told they are unable to refund do to the hotel not honoring my request. What? I'm not trying to get a refund from the hotel. I was totally SCAMMED!
Answer: They don't honor the insurance they offer through their website they want they won't let you change dates I probably won't do anything for you very piss poor customer service
