The operator refused to call Hilton customer service for me. Hilton customer service not the hotel said my room could be canceled but it had to be done by Traveluro not me because they did not have any of my information. Actually would give no stars but one is the lowest option. I asked to talk with a supervisor and was told there was none. I did send an email requesting a supervisor call me with no reply yet. Our ride with Traveluro was rough. I will start with their good service first: The room they booked for us was amazing! Very good size for the money we paid, but it was a joint room, and that was not clarified for us upon booking.
Now for the bad service: We were surprised that Traveluro failed to pay the hotel on time. So we paid Traveluro upon booking a room at Hilton Garden Inn, and they were supposed to pay the hotel so we could check in. We arrived at the hotel, and the receptionist said that they could not check us in because traveluro's payment did not go through. We tried to call Traveluro, but no one answered the phone. The hotel tried to call them, but again, no one answered the phone. We wasted about 45 minutes trying to get hold of someone at Traveluro to update their payment information, but there was no answer. Finally, we had to authorize the hotel to use our Credit Card so they could check us in. The receptionist said that she will keep on trying to call them, but she was not successful in any of her attempts. It wasn't until the next day, and after we followed up with the reception area, that the reception supervisor was able to get hold of someone at Traveluro and she got the payment issue resolved. That was a major disappointment for us, and we decided not to use Traveluro's services again.
They selected bad hotels with no refund policy. We trust in them, and the hotel Quality Inn Nanuet was the poor and bad hotel I ever visit.

I should have read the reviews of this Traveluro site first! Booked the Hampton Inn Downtown KC online. When I got to the the hotel they did not have anything from Traveluro so I had to pay for room again. After contacting Traveluro they said they would get the Hampton Inn paid so I could get reimbursed after paying for the hotel the 2nd time. After waiting over 2 weeks I finally contacted my Credit Card to dispute the charges that Traveluro never provided. I actually paid less money for the hotel than i did with Traveluro!
Pre-paid weeks in advance (***7332) for Times Square for Broadway: got E-mail confirmation then NO notice my hotel was switched. I arrived to CLOSED HOTEL! Thought I got SCAMMED as it took 1-hour to get Traveluro on phone: was relocated another 12-blocks away. I called Traveluro back (M*****) saying this location was UN-acceptable because now I have to walk 15-blocks at 11-pm as I was concerned about the subway that hour. I also said because of location, the hotel's own posted nightly price was $50 cheaper: I was staying 8-nights. I was told to give 2-3 mos for response.
POOR COMMUNICATION again: after nearly 6-mos, I called Traveluro back and supervisor (G****) wanted ME to call the hotel for the $400 credit when Traveluro should/could have called 6-mos ago, and provide Traveluro with hotel's confirmation for the credit! I reminded this "supervisor" that my business is with Traveluro directly. After all this time, my reasonable request was DENIED
These people are scammers. I booked my hotel reservation on their website for our family trip to Mazatlan then needed to change the dates of our reservation. I called them well in advance to make the changes and the first agent told me I would have to call the hotel to make sure they had the room available for my new dates and to make the change with them. I called the hotel, they confirmed they had a room available for us on the new dates however Traveluro would have to call them directly for the update. Called Traveluro back and provided the hotel contact name/phone number of who I spoke with.
The agent told me they would call the hotel and send me a new confirmation email. Instead I received an email from Traveluro advising me too bad so sad we cannot change your reservation! They instead kept my money. I had to file a fraud dispute with my credit card. Scammers! First time and only time I will use this site. Horrible!
I booked 3 different rooms with Traveluro. The one positive was the first hotel was for a good price and there were no issues. It was downhill from there. I booked a private room in a hostel and Traveluro booked me into an 8 person shared dorm instead. I had at least 5 calls back and forth with their support and close to a dozen emails before I left on my trip. In the end the room they booked me into was listed on their website for about 1/5 of what I paid. Customer service said they would resolve the issue and they never did. They also wouldn't give me a refund so I could book a private room. Can you imagine paying $450+ to stay in an 8 person shared dorm room for a hostel for 3 nights? No one would willingly book that. They never resolved that issue so I had to pay for another hotel through another provider. (No issues with that one!) Then I arrived at my final hotel which was a one-night booking. I confirmed the booking before I left but when I got to the hotel I was told Traveluro never paid them for my room. I paid Traveluro and they never paid the hotel! So, when I got there, hot, cranky, and tired I had to spend 1.5 hours talking with their support and waiting for them to pay the hotel!
The page refreshed about three times during the check out process. I emailed customer service immediately to let them know that some sort of glitch happened on the website and that was the complete wrong day on the reservation. Immediately. I did not hesitate after getting the receipt with one night. This is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of something that happened on your end. I will be filing a dispute with my bank. I intended on visiting my family for Easter and not the day after.
I contacted Traveluro about a current hotel reservation that I purchased as NON-refundable - which was MY first mistake. I contact them to ask to CHANGE the reservation - not refund it - I was told no. The reason I wanted to change was because my father-in-law died. We were going to visit him and before we got there he passed away. We wanted to change our booking to the weekend of the funeral but they would not accommodate us. I contacted the hotel directly and was told that they would allow us to change if Travel Eluro would contact me and let them know. Traveluro SAID NO. I will NEVER book with this company again and I advise you to be careful.
A January KAYAK search for The Inn at Death Valley referred me to the Traveluro site which showed only one room left for a late March mid-week stay. I was in a hurry (my bad) and when I printed out my completed reservation paperwork. The Inn at Death Valley was featured in large bold print at the top of the first page. However, further down in the reservation, in smaller and non-bold print, the reservation mentioned The Ranch at Death Valley, which is where we actually ended up staying. The Ranch at Death Valley is a property owned by the Inn at Death Valley and about a mile away. While the Ranch at Death Valley was fortunately nice enough, I was disappointed in misleading way in which we ended up there. I spoke with three different Traveluro representatives over the phone; one was in a very noisy cubicle farm in the Philippines (I asked) and the other two sounded like they were working from home (one with a loud rooster near their phone). Non-US communications are not at all unusual, but in this case these conversations did not instill much confidence in the transaction. I checked with Inn (& Ranch) at Death Valley and after 20 minutes they eventually found my reservation. The delay was because Traveluro actually booked my reservation through Expedia. None of my Traveluro Booking or Confirmation Numbers were visible to the Inn (& Ranch) at Death Valley. I would imagine that this might make a cancellation difficult to process. In closing, while the Ranch at Death Valley was very nice, it was not the Inn at Death Valley at which I believed I was originally making a reservation to stay.
Scam alert! DON'T EVER BOOK WITH THEM! Thank God I disputed the charges in my bank gave me the money back
They are scams no booking is confirmed they took our money and we had to book and pay again with the hotel! Be aware
I had booked a Florida hotel through their website. The price was 30% less than any other booking sites. My cruise dates changed and I needed to change the reservation date. I could not get ANY service or response from Traveluro
I called the hotel directly to change the reservation and the hotel said there was NO such booking under my name or Traveluro
No response again from Traveluro They took my money and ran with it. I kept getting the same response below (they were looking into it). I had to deal with my credit card company to stop payment.

I booked a room for the wrong date by accident and the company refused to change it. I paid the full price and lost my entire money because of that. The company was very rude about making the change they didn't accommodate me what so ever. I recommend people not to order ever from this company because they are a scam
Made reservation on TRAVELURO website on March 23,2023 for 4 night stay at Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo, An Ihg Hotel. When putting the confirmation number provided by TRAVELURO in IHG app it's not recognized. I contacted both IHG and Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo on March 24th and was advised no reservation. I contacted TRAVELURO and was advised that it can take them sometime to book the room. This is concerning as the hotel could possibly be oversold or sold out and now TRAVELURO has taken my money and not provided me with guarantee room. I've contacted TRAVELURO multiple times and have not received my confirmation. Filling a report with the attorney general office.
Not legitimate. My TravelUro reservation ended up being with some other third party, which they wouldn't disclose to me, so I couldn't get a refund from TravelUro as their excuse was they were waiting for that other third party for a "confirmation". Customer service is very very shady - they will pretend they are looking into your issue, ask a million sensitive questions for "verification" only to drop your call and never pick up on you again. Never got the refund
They did not pay the hotel so we had to pay the hotel directly upon check in. So we paid double. Customer service is impossible to get a hold of and then says they will review it. Nothing…. Don't do it!
Yesterday, TravelUor stolen my information from Expedia, and they booked a hotel next to my home for last night, and they charged $240 from my credit card. After I discovered the fraudulent transaction I called that hotel, the hotel told me to report Fraud to my credit card right away! I reported this scam to my credit card to avoid any further transaction.
Worst hotel booking experience ever! Save yourself the grief and book elsewhere! Days of my life wasted trying to get my reservation fixed or my money back. They took my money and I have no reservation, yet no one can tell me
Why. There are plenty of reputable companies out there, I'd recommend using one of those!
Honestly y'all are only engaging with them through customer service my rate was low and my reservation went through! Will be booking with them again saved me tons of money! BOOK WITH THEM! Just call the hotels to confirm reservations if you are nervous simple you don't have to interact with them?
Answer: They don't honor the insurance they offer through their website they want they won't let you change dates I probably won't do anything for you very piss poor customer service
