Didn't realize hotel was not pet friendly until AFTER I hit the submit button and paid in full. Not happy about being unable to cancel my reservation and losing my payment. It's hard enough dealing with the loss of a family member, finding a hotel shouldn't be such an issue. Did not contact customer service because they state — forfeiture of payment if canceled— right up front.

Awful experience
Booked a hotel thru Travel Up and yet the hotel themselves has no such reservation. Have called Travel Up and they are unable to help

If you have received an accommodation voucher or confirmation from us then your booking has been confirmed, some hotel chains hold booking information in a central system and then pass the guest names to the individual hotel a few days before arrival.

False advertisement for hotel with meal plan. Customer service rude and still awaiting call back to make things right! Vacation is over and I wasn't contacted by anyone with travel up. I would even give one star

Our website will state board plan/meal plan for each hotel room however next to this is will state which meal plan is included (room only, bed & breakfast, half board, full board or all inclusive). The room which you confirmed on our website was based on a room only basis so no meal plan was included. If you search a hotel on our website you will see where this is mentioned.
This was also shown on your confirmation and hotel voucher so unfortunately we are unable to assist you further.

We booked a hotel through Travel Up far in advance. The booking was confirmed immediately, but upon contacting the hotel directly several days later, we found out that no actual reservation existed with the hotel itself. By pure accident, we discovered that "by mistake" we were placed into the adjacent cheapest section of the hotel, which actually cost almost $1K less than the most expensive one we paid for. (Hotel is huge and consists of several sections-individual hotels under the same brand)
We contacted Travel Up and that's when the usual "bs" began: "oh, we are sorry, it will be fixed in 3 days", "we are working with our providers and let us assure you, you will be placed into the correct hotel in no time" blah. Blah. When we asked, that may be the reservation should be cancelled, they responded, they would refuse to refund the full amount, explaining, that our reservation was confirmed( oh, really?)
Such an email exchange was going on for almost 2 months!, every time they would promise us, the case would be resolved any day now. Finally, after we realized, we were being blatantly scammed, we just filed a credit card charge dispute, which obviously was resolved quickly and in our favor
The bottom line: Travel up is not a trustworthy company and seems to be involved in unethical practices.
Stay away!

After sending 12 emails to Harley and Roman. They have ignored me. I have been waiting 2 months for a reply. They made a mistake by sending me an email to say my flight was delayed when it wasn't. Obviously I went to the airport later and missed my flight. Harley promised me a refund and will not put me down as a no show and booked another flight for later that evening to my inconvenience. She also told me to write a positive review for her on here before she sends me the confirmation tickets! Absolutely appalling. I am very upset they did not return my phone calls or emails and stole my money. This will be reported to the authorities. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THEY ARE CHEAP - THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

The booking was really simple and great prices. The only thing I think you could change is the reservation takes a while to be shown in the system and it should just be in your profile ready to view instead of searching for your booking information. It was unclear to me which reservation number to use and what surname was. I didn't know whether to use the full name or not. I finally figured it out but those couple of things would make it easier.

Horrible. Booked. Paid deposit and no links work so I can manage my booking or confirm my account. Can't call anyone and no one emails back. I'm contacting a lawyer for fraud and theft.

Here we are 3 months later and I'm still receiving the same lame excuses. Now they admit they owe me money but haven't been able to get the funds to pay me from their supplier. I'm not sure whether this company is just incompetent or plain dishonest. If you are smart you should NEVER use TravelUp for your travel needs.
I have seen many reviews regarding Travel-Up. The good reviews mostly come from customers who are lucky enough to have nothing to go wrong. The bad reviews seem to center around trying to obtain any sort of refund. I now know why. I had a hotel reservation scheduled for 11/24/2021. Travel-Up charged my card for $634.67. A family emergency forced me to cancel on 11/23/2021. Both Travel-Up and the hotel were personally notified by me of the cancellation. Now almost 2 months later I am still receiving lame excuses such as "we are having difficulty with our supplier" and have received NOTHING as a refund. Their customer service is among the worst I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and do not book any travel with this company.

After promising a refund the company has continued to not honor their promises, but rather provide one lame excuse after another. In my opinion, this company is a scam run by liars and cheaters. Under no circumstances should you trust or do any business with TravelUp.
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
