The lack of customer service did not let me cancel the booking right away. It was a mistake (I travel solo, and the reservation was for 3 BR?!). However, the email response I received from Australia a day later (different time zone). It was polite but did not change the fact that I clicked the button accidentally and realized immediately that I am stuck on a remote Atlantic Island with that has no available hotels on my travel days, and my booking company does not have any phone Customer Service (CS). This was a disaster. Clicking NYC phone number /CS prompts while trying to cancel my erroneous reservation returned "unavailable" message. I clicked a variety of prompts in my attempt to get someone. It took a few hours until I stopped calling that number and found an email that politely answered the next day. I am trying to cancel - the credit company was notified a few seconds after I clicked 'payment' and after I received no customer service to reverse a mistaken reservation. People make mistakes and CS must be there to help - that is what I understand as a good company. I am traveling for work and pleasure all year round, and I expect CS to help in an unusual situation. I do not remember a travel middleman company that wants me to use them in the future that refuses to look into the situation and factor in my first attempt at using their service, while knowing fully well that their phone service does not exist. I do not feel comfortable being on a remote island w/o any hotel availability and the booking enterprise (TravelUp) providing no emergency phone communication. Very sad!

I have booked via travel up for BA.
BA has cancelled their flight and their new arrangements is no way feasible. So I have asked a refund via travel up and they say non refundable. We didn't cancel the flight.
The customer service person called Asif Khan said this is non refundable. I don't think he understands what does it mean. This company is a thief. Can't refund for the tickets that was cancelled by the airline?
Please avoid this company. Nothing but a whole group of thief just to take your money.

SCAM company who are taking bookings that they do not have. I booked a hotel from them through Trivago so i thought it would be ok. Rang the hotel and they said that they dont have any bookings for me and that they havent even got any rooms for that date anyway.

Booked a flight with 2 friends for August with each person's cost over £900, unfortunately I just lost someone and unfortunately wouldn't be able to make the trip. Called TravelUp and tried explaining and no empathy whatsoever telling me I could only get £57 OUT OF £900 if i wanted a refund or re-schedule a flight BETWEEN NOW AND THE TRAVEL DATE (BURIAL BEING TRAVEL DATE - HOW CAN I BE POSSIBLY THINKING OF WHERE TO TRAVEL TO AT THE MOMENT WITH WHAT HAS JUST HAPPENED). Tried explaining I wasn't in the right mental space to be thinking of where to go to at the moment with what just happened. Booking was easy, checking in was a challange; the payment had not been made to the hotel. After a phone call to the phone number on the website, we were able to get the representative to work with the other half to get the hotel the monies. About 20 minurtes and it was resolved.

I chose it because the price was affordable, but they canceled my reservation on the grounds that a different price policy was offered to non-ENGLISH in the facility.
