I have not been more financially secure in my life. I owe nothing but revolving Visa accounts which are paid off every month. But, Transunion has decided to lower my FICO score by over 50 points and they won't tell me why. They just hang up on me. There should be a government department to complain about their outrages behavior.
I've been on my credit journey for two years. I have never had an experience, like no other, until Transunion. Their agents mute the calls so they won't have to further assist. I was told I'm speaking with a supervisor and the same outcome happened. I left the phone as is, and eventually was hung up on all three times. I asked the Supervisor I was supposedly speaking with, for her for a ID or some type of reference number for herself she told me she can not provide that information. Trying to get answers to simple questions is dreadful. You have to keep repeating yourself on my chat experience. For me to have spoken to a supervisor and was just muted is horrible Customer Service. They are absolutely no help on your credit. I also noticed when I paid my credit card bill, my score decreased on Transunion. I only use 30%, pay half my balance 15day prior, then the remaining balance on the due date. My score decreased. Just wow. Their system is not for the consumer for sure and then you will not get the guidance you need from their company.
I called and made a dispute about an account opened in my name. The guy said he made the dispute and I would receive the letter in 5-7 business days. Didn't get that. Called in about 3 weeks later and the women said the account I'm talking about was removed. I asked her to send me my credit report. I got it 2 weeks later to see the same account is still there. I am so tired of wasting my time calling into businesses to get things done and it always turns up the other person before didn't do their job right. I am trying to buy a house and can't because of this $#*!ing dispute and you just wasted 2 months of my time $#*!ing around with your unintelligent assistants. Thanks
Paid for their credit monitoring server and never got any alerts even when Chase would alert me that they had seen credit activity that I should look at. If I wanted to look at things on their site I would have to reset my password EVERY SINGLE TIME even if had just logged out and just to log back in right away and I use a password manager, lastpass, so I can't be getting the password wrong. Called their customer service and they confirmed all my information and said they would send me another 2FA email but I never receive them. In short, I would not only NEVER recommend using Transunion I would recommend using literally anything else to monitor your credit.
Terrible customer service because they don't understand you and you can't understand them. I received no help and the person laughed because I couldn't understand them.
Spoke to 2 customer service agents about information that they'd given to my insurance company. My boat insurance increase by 500 dollars for the years because TransUnion gave a negative view. When I called them they advised that my credit was perfect with no flaws. I ask them to notify Geico Marine insurance of the information given to the by mistake. They advised no they couldn't. I stated if it's your mistake they said we have no data of giving this info out. I asked a supervisor and the agent said no need they will give you then same info I gave you so you're wasting your time. They second agent advised same and the hung the phone up in my ear. I was polite with no aggregation in my voice during the whole call.
My auto insurance company uses TransUnion to acquire credit information, which then affects my car insurance bill. I own two homes outright, have paid for a dozen cars, have millions in the bank, am in my 50's, and TransUnion says that I don't have credit history. Criminal organization since all that happens we you call TransUnion is you get an automated salesperson trying to sell you an expensive credit monitoring plan. TransUnion has no real customer service, and is merely a convenient tool for insurance companies to utilize as a reason to arbitrarily increase your auto insurance rates. There needs to be a class-action lawsuit against TransUnion!
An error on their end blocked me from having my credit run. As a result, I could not qualify for a loan for a car. I need a car. It has been days and still no resolution. How does such a miserable organization wield so much power?

Finding anyone with comprehension is a task and they are literally zero help. How in the world can anyone let them or the others control our world with the almighty 'credit score' when the are FN clueless. They are rocking my world with something that is their issue and there is absolutley no way to get to a living breathing soul who can help.
I reported a stolen wallet. Since then I have received Little to no assistance. I have spent 3 hours yesterday trying to fix this. I cannot hear or understand the agents.
They keep asking me the same questions over and over. Even if I say that I do not have that info,
I asked to speak to a manager twice and I was disconnected by both representatives.
So I will be telling all the seniors I know about this dismal care I got from your company.
So I better not get hacked as I have reported the fraud and if I cant get help from you... what do I do to protect my information?
I called in because i saw a huge drop on my account since my balance went down (which supposed to bring my credit score up) i had no negative impact whatsoever. After one and another transfer I talked to this guy trying to tell me because i have a balance (which i said lower than months before) is the reason why my credit went down. And didnt want to listen to me and tried to cut me off. We paid for our service, not begging so do your job and get better customer service. You guys are too big of a company to have those nasty workers
Transunion not only is horrible by the sheer reality of its existence, it also can't screen applicants for background checks correctly. They ask you "what street did you live on?"
You answer. Correctly.
They tell you you're wrong, so they ask you another question or set of questions. "Oh I know this! Easy peasy" except that it's not easy-peasy. It's difficult... smifficult because TransUnion hates us and wants us to die of stress trying to complete a rental application. They love your rage, they feed off of it because they're run by just 1 guy living on Staten Island named Colin Robinson.
It's crazy the way they score. If you use your credit card, they immediately knock off 11 or more points. But when you pay it off, it only moves up 1 or 3. It's like they want you to stay at a certain credit score.
Have been trying for 72 hours to unlock a credit freeze for a loan. Can't reach anyone by phone and the online form says they will send an email to reset my password, but nothing is coming, have filled out the form 3 times, it says could take 24 hours, and still nothing after filling out for 3 days. They need to fix their web-site.
I have an 829 credit score with Equifax and Experian ( the other Big 3 who control your rating) and yet I have an 802 with Transunion. I have no derogatory remarks on any of the history for 14 years since I first became credit rated and I have a 100% score with on time payments.
Furthermore, whenever a loan was paid off previously, Transunion is the only one of the 3 to actually drop my credit score despite it still being listed on my account for several years after. Equifax and Experian would not lower the score until the account was removed from the credit history entirely.
Basically, they are the absolute worst in this department and do everything in their power to keep your score as low as they legally can. I pray for the day this bureau goes bust
TransUnion is one of most important credit outlets in the Northern hemisphere that serves the greater parts of the United States of America. But they hire people from overseas to handle their phone services and credit reporting attributes. These people are not being monitored and your credit information is being carelessly mishandled by people with little to no skills in managing important information that's in the Philippines and neighboring countries to save labor cost. The United States has become so engulfed in saving money that they will hire 3 party vendor from overseas that will compromise the privacy and security of the most sacred data known to man. Do not trust these people because they are no longer fit to be trusted.
I went into the bank, with lots of money, they ran my credit and give me a paper with a number to TransUnion saying that they can't help me. I went directly to the car called the TransUnion number and they tell me that they can not give me any information or help me fix whatever problem they have with me on my credit. Waste of time! Worthless company that has access to all of my information but can't help correct issues.
Multiple attempts to unfreeze my credit were unsuccessful. When logged in, it says unknown. I called in and after 4 attempts over a two hour period, an agent said they would call back in 24 to 48 hours. They are the worst.
This system is jacked up. Setup for you stay in dept. want you keep get loan a no credit cards.and I annoyed
Yesterday, I tried to obtain my credit report (keep in mind, my report on Equifax is 745 which is Very Good). When I signed up on the TransUnion website, they took my information, charged my credit card... and then my login did not work. I spent the next two days talking to representatives all over India and that got me no closer to being able to log in. If you're looking for a free report, you won't find it here. These people made me write them a letter requesting a report and I have no confidence that I will get anything intelligible from them back.
Answer: Scam the worst liars thieves keep u on hokd for 2+ hours. Was on hold again to speak to superviser got gung up on called back and they were closed. Now next day no help again day after after they just want ny money instead of doing what they were suppose to do 6 years ago run away from transunion
Answer: Nope total opposite or success they are the WOrst in every WAY
