Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. We monitor reviews for authenticity
My experience with Tradesy was overwhelmingly negative. I sold a pair of shoes which were returned to me because they were not accurately listed (they didn't have a matching box), though that is not the reason the buyer returned them. After asking for specific feedback on what went wrong and how I should re-list the shoes, they sold again... only to be returned to me by Tradsey - this time being deemed replicas (again, not the reason the buyer returned them). It doesn't sit right with me that this issue would not be identified the first time around, especially after I asked for direct feedback. The shoes have been gaurenteed authentic and all I received from the Tradesy customer service team was a link to their terms and agreement and a "too bad." I am sorry to have ever done business with this company.
I have had multiple experiences with Tradesy as a buyer and as a seller. I have purchased two Saint Laurent handbags through Tradesy. One was pre-owned and the other one was supposed to be new with tags. The pre-owned one was gorgeous and I kept it. The new with tags handbag was not new with tags and looked worse off than the pre-owned bag. I ended up returning the new with tags YSL and Tradesy agreed that the item was misrepresented. I was refunded my money after they reviewed the handbag and shipped it back to the buyer. No issues there. I didnt pay for shipping for any part of the transaction and all my money was refunded.
My experience as a seller has been up and down on Tradesy. Everyone seems to try and get me to lower my prices even if I am the lowest priced item available. I've also had one shipment get lost in the mail by usps because the buyer provided her business address for the shipping address and didnt let me know prior to the shipment. Tradesy stepped in and opened a case with USPS. Having a larger company behind an open case really helped the situation and the buyer received her bag. It's nice to have that support. Thank you Tradesy <3
OK, so Tradesy is eBay of the clothing world. Everything and anything can be sold on here, from designer clothing to some lip balm. Shipping is usually between $10 and $20, depending on how large of a bag needed to fit in the garment. I am from a seller's perspective- I've been on the site for about 3 months and have only sold one item. I received the bag to put my item in and shipped it out quickly, within a month I got my payment after the 2% fee or whatever tradesy will take, and the other 2% (I think) safe transfer fee. The thing about this site is that you need to ask questions. The sellers are mostly experienced and will answer any question you have. If not, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Most sellers want their items gone. It's a good discount site once in a while. Some sellers can be haggled.
*If you want to look up my closet, feel free to message me. I sell plus sized shorts, size 8 women's shoes, and medium sized tops and dresses.
Tried to search for men's shoes. It had tons of women's shoes. No way to search for men's, except in the search bar. I have a new pair Cole Haan shoes (ordered wrong size) to sell. I don't think anyone would be able to find them on your website.
I was trying to sell a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes on this site. They were on for almost a year so when someone gave me an extremely low B/O I just took it as I didn't need the shoes and I declined a previous offer that was higher so the buyer communicated with me very well and all was great! Well then she decided they were not the right size so she returned them (obviously she has done this before) so they get sent back to Tradesy. Tradesy then inspects them and is supposed to resell themselves that is why they offer a money back guarantee because they take responsibility of selling your shoes if the customer reutrns them... Well no they don't they will ship them back to you tell you they are not real designer shoes and then go into my bank account and take the money with no formal case. They did not have an Authorized Jimmy Choo rep look at them and they were bought for me by my Millionaire Boss so she does not wear knock offs. I even looked online as to what defines them as being authentic mine have all of the attributes and they still did this to me... NEVER USE THIS COMPANY I PULLED ALL MY OTHER LISTINGS TOO!
I sell only authentic designer new womens shoes and handbags, specifically brands such as Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Aquazurra, etc. I listed and posted several pictures of the $460 brand new never worn shoe on Tradesy from many angles. The shoes sold on Oct 25,2016 and shipped out the same day with tracking number, in the original box and tissue I purchased in. I later receive an email from Tradesy stating the buyer wants to return based on misrepresentation! I immediately called Tradesy who offered no details as well as contacted the buyer with no response. Today, November 15th, I finally received word from Tradesy's return team that stated the return was accepted as the shoe was damaged (fringe on left shoe was ripped off) I immediately called them with no response back and looked at all reviews, posted on every website possible to get the word out as this is not a venue for a good seller to use. It is unethical to send me back a pair of brand new shoes that have been damaged by the buyer. Not one picture ( all angles taken) is there any indication the shoe is damaged... it was not on my end! DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF AS A SELLER AND DO YOUR DUE DILEGENCE ON READING REVIEWS... NEGATIVE!
We all dream to own expensive things we can't afford. Just keep on dreaming. Don't allow yourself to even try this site. It's not worth your time and money. Beautiful pictures, pricey shipping fees, deceptive discriptions of items and 4 days to return! You can re-sell items you don't like if you go over the 4 days?., and what continue the deception? It's all bad.
I have to file a complaint with my state attorney general's office and the FTC because Tradesy in their infinite stupidity helped a dishonest buyer rip me off. I sold a designer bag, and the crooked customer pulled a switch and returned an identical bag with defects to Tradesy, who then notified me that they had to return the bag to me because they could not decide on a fair price since it was defective. The bag I sold was not defective and the bag they returned to me was clearly not the same bag I had photos of on Tradesy. Tradesy is now ripping off longtime sellers to help criminal buyers, so do not sell or buy anything from Tradesy, unless of course you are a crook.
I thought that I bought two pairs of shoes only to find out that the seller has to respond to my purchase within 3 days or the transaction is cancelled. This seller told me she had no idea! When I contacted Tradesy, their attitude was basically tough luck and didn't care a bit. Why they don't take better care of their customers, I cannot understand. Their attitude is terrible and when you go through a lot of work to find something you're looking for, pay for it and have the transaction dropped, I think that's terrible. I think they need to re-think their business model. I'll buy from another site.
I clearly have no reason to lie about my item being authentic on here. I sold a pair of Burberry shoes on tradesy that I purchased years ago and I got an email three weeks later that they allowed the buyer to return them because they were found to be inauthentic! Not only am I livid that they have falsely accused me of selling fake Burberry shoes I bought in a BURBERRY STORE but even more concerning is the fact that they made this mistake. How often do they think items are authentic that aren't since they clearly aren't professionals! I will never buy or sell on here again.
FYI they said part of the findings were the craftsmanship and you could see glue in some areas and maybe that was it, but I've had two Louis Vuitton shoes that have done the same thing after time. Professionals should know what happens to AUTHENTIC shoes after time.
DO NOT EVER BUY FROM TRADSEY. THEY ARE RIP OFFS AND WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A REFUND AND ONLY GIVES YOU 4 DAYS TO SHP BACK MERCHANISE TO THEM. TELL ME WHAT STORE DOES THAT? They give you a credit so they can keep the money. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED REGARDING THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. THE CEO NEEDS TO BE PUT IN JAIL FOR COMMITTING FRAUD.
I've been buying and selling on Tradesy for almost 2 years. My experiences have for the most part been good. I've made thousands of dollars selling my items. I have received a few returns but that is normal when selling on line. I think Tradesy is the best possible place to sell your items on line because they only take about 12 percent out of your sales! It's also safer because returns are sent to Tradesy for inspection so it deters a lot of scammers. Tradesy does have a few kinks that need to be worked out and some transactions may not be favorable, but overall they are the best! I don't care what others say I know first hand that they are good and I've made a lot of money!
I have been sales my unused items and found the company it's good and helpful CV, that is my case. I do have an item returned, but it was my fault to missed listed.
Sale an authentic and the condition exactly the way it's. You will successfully sale your items
Buyers read adds and read the policy before buying an item, inspect your items when received within 4 das for returns.
Tradesy is an third party for advertising and your transactions between salers and buyers. If we read and understand how it works, Tradesy is a good website to buy and sale an items.
Horrible business for Buyers or Sellers! Authenticity is NOT guaranteed! They don't use certified services They making decision based on Tradesy employees judgment
Horrible customers service. Rude and unprofessional! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
Fake merchandise. Won't give your money back. RUN! STAY AWAY! BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Don't be fooled by the positive reviews. They are either fake or extremely lucky. If you want to gamble, buy a lottery ticket.
This seller is STRAWBERRY FIELDS. This is not the first site jabber review about them. I ordered a blouse with new without tags. I went back in after I purchased it and it was changed to possibly worn without damage. I asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded. The seller told me it was still classified as new with a dumb smiley face. I then asked to be refunded again and heard nothing. Then, two days later it was shipped to me. In the meantime I did a claim through pay pal and it took a few days for them to respond to the case. They just couldn't stand not unloading a used blouse listed as new without tags. To top it off when I complained to them they told me all returns go through tradsey and they determine if you get a refund or your money back. Here is the worst part! I received a pair of shoes! Pay pal took care of it and even paid for the return label. This website after looking at the reviews take forever to refund you if at all. They do whatever they can to give you a site credit. The shoes are on there way back. This awful seller refused to cancel an order, shipped it, misrepresented an item, and accept no responsibility. I was told tradesy handled the returns. This website is a scam and very deceptive. They act like they can do anything to a consumer. Site credit? What? Horrible.
Two of my transactions were great, but...
One item was listed as "new with tags," but there is a large hole in a sleeve. I didn't notice it until I put it on after the four-day return period. The seller does not know how to issue me a refund. Tradesy says I missed the window to return the item.
Another item is lost in the mail.
I'm out almost $70. If I could afford to lose that money, I would be buying NEW clothes.
You receive more consumer protection through eBay. I'll never buy anything from Tradesy again.
I have sold on Tradesy successfully for about a year. Never had a problem until recently. Short version: buyer messaged me on tradesy asking when item would ship. I reaponded and said i had just received the tradesy shipping kit that day and item would go out first thing in the morning. Buyer says thanks. The following EVENING buyer asks to cance the sale. Too late. Item shipped as promised. Tradesy does not require sellers to cancel orders at request of buyer so i ignored the message. Buyer then requested a return through Tradesy and Tradesy tried to invoice me for the sale saying my item was misrepresented because it was an undergarment and undergarments aren't allowed. I was livid because A) my item was a Spanx top that was designed to be worn as a top or as shapewear and B) tradesy is LITTERED with bras/ body suits etc so i felt like their reasoning was weak and all too convenient seeing as the buyer waited until after she knew the item was shipped to request a cancel. Soooo they got a semi irate email back from me, complete with photos of models showing that style top worn with a skirt AND documentation of the communication between the buyer and me. They were reasonable and overturned their decision and said for me to disregard the invoice.
All in all, just a bump in the road. Tradesy's fees are reasonable and i love that they deal with the bulk of customer service. Highly recommend!
I wish that tradesy was the company that it claims to be, but I love consignment shopping. The service is the WORST. I have been in line to chat with someone for over and hour, and I am still number 7. I tried to send and email, but when I click send there isn't a message confirming that it was sent. The website advertises a phone number, but if you click on it, it directs you to email and chat! I have had 7 purchases with them and two have been terrible, one item never even arrived!
Bottom line - it's a gamble every time you shop there
I bought Balenciaga bagpack. I paid almost $1200. It was not even leather. It smelled like cheep plastic. It's just worthless lowest quality fake bag from somewhere. It took me 5 seconds to make sure it was fake one. I took pictures of stitch pattern, inlay material etc and sent it back to Tradesy to ask it's authenticity. They said "fter careful inspection by our Brands Team the item was deemed 100% genuine authentic." hahaha~~~~~
Anyone needs pictures of the bag, ask me.

Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
