Tradesy generally enjoys a positive reputation among customers, particularly for its user-friendly platform, quality product offerings, and effective communication throughout the buying process. Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. However, concerns arise regarding inconsistencies in item descriptions, delayed shipping, and customer service issues, particularly regarding returns and authenticity claims. While the majority of experiences are favorable, a segment of customers expresses dissatisfaction with the handling of disputes and the accuracy of listings, indicating a need for improved oversight and support.

Stay away from this site! Bought 2 supposed Rose Gold Pandora charms from this site. All claimed to be authentic. After a month, the rose gold was fading! Sent it back to the company for return and they told me is was authentic and couldn't return the item. This company is a total scam! Stay far away!
I would recommend this site to all my friends. I have gotten great deals on my LV pocketbooks. They are very classic would not trade pockets for anything.
Called customer service. Was on hold for 30 minutes. It took someone three hours to call me back. They couldn't help me. They said somebody else would call me back. No one did. Worst customer service I've ever encountered
Sold a beautiful brand new designer bag to a buyer, who used it, then one month later wanted to return it to me, claiming my measurements were off (she was supposed to return to Tradesy, but must have known they wouldn't find any problems with my measurements). Two months after the sale, I finally got the bag back (in a ripped dirty box with no protection on the bag). After several unanswered attempts to discuss this with Tradesy (I was promised contact from their returns dept. the next day), I happened to see in my bank account where Tradesy (WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION and while I was still awaiting "contact" from them) deducted all of the funds from my bank account. I closed my Tradesy account and will file with my bank for unauthorized funds. Beware Sellers. Another scam artist's dream site. Almost makes Ebay returns seem civil.
They hold your seller funds for weeks and in my case took a month to give a buyer a refund and me nothing with 0 communication. I still don't have my item back. They are a bunch of crooks.
I purchased a pair of Sam Edelman sandals. My credit card was charged immediately yet several hours later I received a notice from the Seller that they "were not for sale". No apology, no, sorry for false advertising. Tradesy says it will take 5 days to see my refund. If you could pull my money immediately, you should immediately issue a refund. I didn't cancel. YOUR Seller failed to remove the item. No recourse on their website. Will never use their site again and telling everyone I know.
Not only did the dress I buy arrive at my place not as it was advertised by the seller (it both had a stain on it and was not the size she said it was - she advertised it as a size 12, it came with size 9/10 on its tags) but sales to Canada are final - no exchanges or returns or refunds. So I wasted my money on a dress I can't wear. If I can save the population of Canada from wasting their time and effort, the moment writing this review is worth it.
I both buy and sell on Tradesy, so far (a dozen times) without issue. Absolutely love it, got lots of great tops from here (I don't buy designer, just regular stuff), plus it gives me a place to sell things I changed my mind on, ended up not wearing or just don't like any more :)
I Bought A Bag From Tradesy. Well Upon Receiving It The Bag Was Just How They Described, But Unfortunately It Belonged To A Smoker. I Have Never Smoked So I Am Very Sensitive To That Scent Also Because I Have Asthma. Well I Don't Feel That I Should Have To Get A Site. Credit Because Of This Particular Situation, And I Am Afraid To Order Another One Because It Can Happen Again. I Should Get A Refund. I Will also. Open A Case And Give A Negative Report To The Better Business Bureau If This Is Not Resolved Fairly. Phone Number *******345 Evelyn Jones *******@gmail.com. Vince Camuto Bag.
N't believe I bought a $400 never used with tags purse for almost 75% off. Great purse! Great buy! I would recommend tradesy.com to anyone who would like to get into buying great product at very reasonable prices.
Terrible to deal with. Started on Ebay and Tradesy at the same time. Doing great on Ebay, quit Tradesy. Don't pay on time, return policy is ridiculous, don't update website on time. Yes, I sold on Tradesy. Not worth the hassle.
I purchased Chanel leather pants for 500$. The seller took pictures that way that no damage was visible. The black color of pants was faded, a large tear above rear pocket, lining seam was torn. Absolutely no control over the quality. Yes you do have a chance to return the item, they will evaluate it and give you store credit. Do you really want to have 500$ credit on website that sells trash?
I didn't like the fact that I did not get credit on my credit card after returning an item. The item I returned was definitely not worth what I initially paid for it. Now I can't get my money back for a used Item that I purchased and returned the very next day after I received it.
Shopping with tradesy is quick, fun and fabulous! I was able to get the bag of my dreams for an affordable price!
I sell and buy on Tradesy, best site ever. Savings are great and you get items fast. If you can't find the item on the internet chances are someone is selling it on Tradesy
I've had a great many transactions with Tradsey & found them to always have both the seller & purchaser's best interest in mind. They are an honest, stand behind their word, site friendly, team Tradesy friendly, purchase friendly site. I'm unable to think of enough great things to say. I've never been disappointed or concerned when I've made a purchase because I know I'm protected & I'm sure the sellers feel that way as well. I do not work for & am not related to Tradsey but those who do work there treat you like you're family.
Love the products they offer, prices are good, delivery is swift and they stand behind their sales. Have never had any issue shopping on Tradesy.
I initiated three withdrawals that never reached my bank account. Despite sending Tradesy my debit card statements showing proof that I never got the transaction, Tradesy customer service refuses to reinitiate a transfer. It's been two months and I'm getting bounced between departments telling me to talk to my bank (which obviously says they never got my transfers) and that there's nothing they can do about it. Today I requested a telephone call and they said they only write emails. They are cheaters and phonies and do not protect their customers! This is not the way a business should be run!
I have ordered a pair of the shoe over a month. The tracking was provided not updated over 2 weeks! I ask for refund and help! They told me to wait another 48 hours! I wait 72 hours still not arrive so I request the refund it! They just give me a toll-free number to check but never have an answer! This is the worst CS! Don't trust this site, seller and staff!
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
