My experience with Toptal is very positive so far, and I've been working with Toptal for 5 years already.
It offers interesting jobs, the pay rate you choose yourself, and great community within. Toptal also takes care of legal questions with the client and safeguards against untrustworthy clients disappearing without payment. I had such case once - Toptal paid me fully, the rest was not my problem.
To sum up, I recommend Toptal eagerly to all professionals out there who are still thinking about starting working remotely, and also if you've already done so on your own. Try it!

Last few months I have been working on Toptal, here is what I have experienced here.

The first thing is the screening process. From what I have experienced, the claim that the top 3% of global talent works at Toptal is totally justified, as the screening process filters out if anybody lacks in any way.

Toptal provides a vast network of support teams like matchers, coaches, and other experts who can help you in building your profile to be the best fit for presenting to the clients. This step helps you a lot in gaining confidence professionally and personally

Between profile building and engagements, there is a long list of Toptal communities, that can help anyone professionally or socially to keep their work-life balance intact.

Next comes applying for projects/engagements, which in my opinion is the best part of the Toptal network if we see it from a talent's perspective. The vast network of coaches post new jobs and even invite you to apply if they feel that you are a great fit for the job. In this way, you get a lot of relief and you can focus on what you are good at instead of spending a lot of time finding engagements and presenting your profile in different ways.

Once you are short-listed by a client, there is an interview process, you can also get help on this process from a team of expert coaches to get through that in the best way. And once selected, your matchers keep an eye on your engagement and are available at any time if you need help.

The payment system of Toptal is also excellent, you don't need to worry about payments, Toptal will handle this part and make sure that you get what you deserve without any hassle.

The engagement release process is also very smooth and you are helped in any way you need.

In short, Toptal is the best platform that I or any other independent talent might ask for. The place gives you comfort as well as the best value that any talent would ask for. I'd suggest everyone if they can, go for Toptal and have the best time of their careers.

Toptal allows you to connect to the best clients on the market in no time. The average time for finding a job there was less than a week and the experiences were great.
