October 2016 - I purchased the executive package and received elementary school results.

As an IT software development program/project manager with 25 years experience across multiple Fortune 500 companies, I thought having a professional writer's group rewrite my resume was appropriate at this juncture. My expectations were for a fresh, dynamic, and pithy representation of my diverse experience. I expected a high caliber resume I could directly submit to any position which I was applying.

What I received was a cut and paste version of the resume wording that I had submitted along a request for me to 'fill in the blanks' sections on the resume! WTF?

I believe mostly all quality was sacrificed for the sake of honoring their 2 day commitment on the executive package. I suspect the resume writer's are free lancers who are assigned client work perhaps based upon bidding for them.

Controlling any writer's quality and consistency is surely challenging but is not any excuse for Topresume to deliver highly unsatisfactory results to the end client!

I hired TopResume to rewrite my resume about a month back. They were quick and easy to sign up for and were timely in the task paid for. The final product was good and I was ok with it. But, once that time had come and gone... They were quick to stop answering questions and I come to hear that they didn't even have someone that specialized in my field. When I asked about timing and why my question/s have not been answered, I get a somewhat dismissive email on how tough the market is, which is clear, and no answer on why my writer cut communication off before my final draft. Time will show, I have till Nov 4th for my 60-day mark.

I was never to comfortable with how my resume looked from what I had done to it. I could never writing it with the correct words or structure it in a way to make it look and feel professional. When TopResume finished it, I was extremely happy with not just how they worded it, but also how it was structured. Even the lay out that it now has, is nothing that I would have ever thought of or even considered.

I rarely write reviews, however I felt this was an instance where I needed to reach out and let prospective clients hear about my experience. I worked with Fred on my resume and he communicated throughout the process, which was speedy and productive. There are services that charge 2-3+ times what TopResume charges, and I just can't see the value. Fred and TopResume did a terrific job in terms of speed, quality, and value. Thanks!

Great experience, but the time period given for revision is short. A little bit more time was needed to have 2 revisions done.

TopResume did a fantastic rework of my resume. The writer redid my resume in ways I had not considered and was able to work in experience I thought was irrelevant to my current job search. I was very pleased with the outcome. Also, the turn around time was fairly quick. All my concerns and inquiries were addressed promptly. I highly recommend TopResume.

Hired TopResume through their affiliation with Monster.com. I signed up for the resume and LinkedIn update on a Thursday morning. After attaching my current resume and answering a few simple question I received my first draft later that afternoon. I asked for a couple of minor edits and received my final package on Saturday afternoon. I was truly impressed with this service. I thought that it was a bit pricey at first but after my complete experience, I didn't think anything of spending that much money for the quality of professionalism alone. They found me a match within a couple of hours of someone to write my resume. She was absolutely great to work with and every email that I sent to her provided a response within no more than an hour. I felt like she was talking to me personally and that she understood a lot of my requests. I needed mine back soon as possible as I was applying for a job with a deadline date. I voiced that information to the writer and I literally felt like that was the only thing she must have worked on that day. By the end of the day, I received my drafted resume. Prior to Top Resume, I had a 4 page resume PLUS a cover letter that I knew was way too long and probably holding me back from getting hits from Recruiters however I was so enamored with my own writing that I didn't have the discipline to cut it down myself. After I got a very comprehensive critique from the folks at Top Resume that I had to agree with, I broke down and paid to have them redo it for me. In fact, I signed up for the Executive package and got the cover letter and LinkedIn profile along with the resume because they worked with me on the pricing and also did an amazing job with my final product that exceeded my expectations. So much so that they actually was able to satisfy my needs in just one draft! Very pleased and using my new Top Resume version of my documents to put myself back out there with confidence!: 0)
